I came here a few months back and I was super happy about it! They take Amazon returns which is so convenient since you can park right there. They were so fast and friendly. Then I went through the absolute zoo , trying to do a return last week. I looked at their google hours... I was running errands and since google said they were open till 10pm and I was starting my errands at 5pm, I had plenty of time. I headed over just after 6pm and was very confused to see their gate locked up inside and a dark building. I looked at the hours on the door saying they closed at 6pm. So I pulled up the Google hours again which were now different than they were earlier the same day. Though they were now showing them supposedly open until 7pm. It was currently 615pm. I submitted to have the hours corrected, but why am I doing this? Shouldn't the business have their correct hours listed online? I canceled the return while sitting in their parking lot so I could go over to another location and do the return as I had the items sitting next to me in the vehicle. read more

Do not ship using UPS. I paid $200 to ship to items from NY to Portland. I was shipping to a housebound person. I was told they would attempt delivery 3 times. They only tried once. I was told the driver decided to just bring it to the pick up center and left a note. It was not picked up in 7 days as the recipient was unable to leave the house and I had told him they try three times. It was then sent back to NY and I had to pay a second time to send it to my home in Idaho. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT UPS TELLS YOU AND USE THEM AS A LAST RESORT. CUSTOMER SERVICE JERKED ME AROUND FOR HOURS AND SAID SORRY, NOTHING WE CAN DO. I've used this store for years. A couple years ago, after a porch pirate stole something the then-UPS driver on my route (I assume it was he, he told me he had done it) switched my deliveries from my front porch to this little store. I had the general impression that it was working OK. But last month, the VA Pharmacy sent me an emergency overnight shipment of a prescription because I was running out, and it is dangerous to abruptly stop taking these things. However, they sent it UPS and it went to this store. I had no idea it was there, and although the apparent manager seems to be sitting in the back looking at his phone when I've gone in, they have never bothered to call or attempt to notify me of packages' presence. So I went four days without the medication and it was ugly. About 12 days later, the pharmacy called to ask me why I had "returned" the prescription marked "refused!" I went by the store and asked how I might once again get deliveries to my door, the woman wearing UPS uniform behind the counter dismissed my question saying they "are a UPS franchise, not capable of making such changes." She showed no indication that she cared, not one bit. I went back a couple days later; surely they must have contact information. Both of them at the counter this time, they offered no help. I remarked, "This is borderline rude," no raised voice or angry body language, and the man threw me out, "You can't talk to us like that." All I did was remark that the treatment I was receiving bordered on rude, which it certainly did. I am 79 years old, volunteer for all kinds of things all the time, I believe I am generally well-regarded, this was shocking. I left as directed, but went back and asked for a phone number I might call to get my deliveries to my door. The man wrote a number on their UPS stationery, I left. Hoping to get some help changing deliveries to my home, NEVER wanting to go to that office again, I called the number he had written. It is a phone pornography site! Unbelievable. Phone porn, I posted about this awfulness on Facebook and several friends responded that they've been treated rudely in this store, too. A business like UPS, by its nature assumes responsibility for service to its customers, not treating them like I was treated. It is a RESPONSIBILITY. and this abrogation of responsibility should be remedied if that place is going to continue dealing with customers' trust. After a lot of calling, thank goodness their call centers I reached are in the Philippines where the responders were so very professional and pleasant. THEY recommended the UPS My Choice app which I installed and found that this UPS store has returned multiple prescriptions and a container for an emergency battery recall, apparently marked "refused," though I had no idea any of them were there. This level of behavior is unacceptable from any organization that is handling sensitive, important goods. Sickening, literally sickening. read more

While getting a manicure next door, I decided I wanted to get my cpvaccine card laminated since many restaurants are requiring prior in the original form. Did a quick search on Google which led me right next door! I've been to this location before to drop off packages but never realized they offered lamination in addition to shipping, copies, notaries and Amazon returns, which is usually the reason I'm here! For $2.50 I can now safely carry my paper vaccine card around. The people who work here are super friendly, easily engage in conversation and serve with a smile. There were several people there while I was in the store and the line moved fast. Also sell greeting cards and some shipping supplies. Every time the delivery driver delivers to building behind mine leading me to try to locate my packages. This has been going on 4 years. Unsure if driver can't determine 4570 or 4572 buildings. Very tiny place with limited parking on a busy spot. With that said I have been here twice and they have been super fast and friendly. There was one guy in front of me being checked out and the cashier made sure to make eye contact with me within 3 minutes of me standing there, smile and say she'll be with me in a moment. Seek another UPS store. Sent a 12.9 pound box to Illinois. Was quoted $134! Usually it's around $50. Kept questioning the cost over and over and the only answer I received was "3 day shipping ". I responded repeatedly that I did not want nor need 3 day shipping. Gentleman stated that was how it was ringing up with UPS and no additional charge was placed on me. Due to time constraint, I paid the shipping fee. FIVE business days later it arrived! I immediately time stamped the package and took a picture and headed to my usual UPS store where I was quoted $45! I am now working with cooperate on this issue. Also, my daughter was once told she owed $15 to do an Amazon return. She had the time and went elsewhere for free. This place rips you off. Please take the time and get another quote. I left not realizing I hadn't put the notarized papers in the envelope. Luckily, the mail hadn't gone out and the gal, found my envelope and we put it in and she sealed it back up! Our favorite store for a number of reasons, but we had a strange experience yesterday, Saturday March 20th, which is why I'm writing this review. This experience is the sole reason why this review is four rather than five stars. Here's what happened. We went in and were greeted by a tall, thin young man who had helped us many times before. He knew exactly what we wanted. We just wanted to buy a box. He was helping us and everything was fine when a dark-haired, heavyset woman came from the back room and took over. She acted as if none of us knew what we were doing, and frankly, she screwed up the whole transaction. After she criticized our bubble wrapping job on the item we were planning to pack, she tried to guilt us into using their packing services. I told her we were shipping for someone else who already paid for the shipping, and that the buyer didn't pay for UPS packing services. Eventually she sold us a box that was way too large, and we didn't realize the error until we got home and tried to pack it. If we used that box, it would've doubled our shipping costs. So, we went to another UPS Store for the correct size box later in the day. We could've gone back to this store, but we actually avoided it to avoid dealing with that woman again. The weird thing was, she acted like she was the owner, and if that was the case, I wonder if she had any idea how off-putting her behavior was. The experience of dealing with her did not in any way meet our expectations of this usually-outstanding shop. read more

I don't think I've ever had a bad experience from this UPS store as the manager and employees operate professionally and most efficiently. They implore a plethora of great services including accepting/shipping parcels, notaries, copies, collecting cable TV equipment returning it to the provider free of charge, returns to Amazon and other merchants even without the box for the product (even though we've always returned items in their boxes), wills, estate documentation, etc., where they supply a witness for signage if need be. None of my Xmas presents for kids and grandkids arrived. Turns out the employee ignored the address clearly posted on the package and printed out a label using a very old address still in their computer. When the box didn't arrive I tried to contact UPS. I had shipped several things and mixed up the tracking info, accidentally tossing out the number for this box. I tried to call this UPS shop, but got intercepted by voicemail hell, which in the end could not help me without a tracking number. I tried UPS chat, and every other option, but no one can help. No one knows where the presents are, no one at UPS will help. I've spent about 3 1/2 hours on this today, on hold over 40 mins for each of two different UPS people I was told would help. (While an electronic voice repeated over and over and over how important I am to UPS.) I won't be using UPS again. It's too challenging/frustrating attempting to get anyone to help when things go wrong. read more

I've been to this UPS store several times in the past few months to mail a package out of state and for two Amazon returns. The same staff member, a woman who I should know her name by now, was there each time. She is always friendly, always asks how my day is and offers my kids a piece of candy or sticker. I know that UPS is more expensive than USPS but it's also not as expensive as the terrible terrible mail stores. I have never had an issue sending a package UPS or receiving one. They are curteous, efficient and you get exactly what you're looking for every time you go. Great experience all around. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I mailed a package and it was returned to me saying it was an incorrect address. This address is one that we have used for 3 years and is printed directly from their system. Joanna tried to help and called her manager and he said that I had to pay an additional $12.72 to have it re-sent. I left the store with my package - this is a correct address - It was refused at the handling center. I came home and called the customer service center and they said that the manager should NEVER HAVE SAID that I had to pay again. They should have called customer service and gotten an answer for me. Ladies didn't make me feel weird by hiding in the back and making me feel weird when I had a question. I normally go to another UPS store for my returns, but this one was on my way to where I was going. I will be coming to this one from now on. Even though I was just doing a return and there was a line in the store, the lady took the time to ask me how my day was and taped up my box for me without charging me. She even made sure to tell me to have a good day before she moved on to the next person in line. I was surprised that there was only 1 person working on a Friday afternoon, but she explained that it was because her co-worker had to leave early and the owner was out of town. For the last three years, all of our mail and packages have been delivered to this UPS store. The folks that own and work there are fabulous! They sign for all of our Amazon packages, they carefully handle all of my medical supplies I receive. My husband had back surgery at about the time I broke my ankle. Without asking for help, they have all given me assistance in getting my packages to the car. I have used their other services as well like computer time, printing and Notary services. It was somewhat busy and I was very happy with the service and the friendliness of the very nice lady clerk. Called them about 15 minutes after I left the store, the female employee answered, I told her my issue her response was "I don't know where your package is I can't help you." and she hung up the phone, no interest in getting my name or tracking number to even pretend to help, not even a suggestion of calling UPS. The shop is transferred to some Chinese (Don't take me wrong about being discriminative as I myself is a Chinese). They want to squeeze everything from the customer. You want tape? 25 cents. The employees were helpful and nice. But it costs $1 per page ($2 for the first page) to scan a document to email. That is insane. It takes 30 seconds of employee time (and I could have easily done it on my own) to scan a whole stack of papers in the feeder. A copy costs 10 cents and takes ink and paper. Why would a scan cost a $1??? It takes 0.00000000001 cents in electricity. And the same copy machine. At the least, the employees should be trained to let customer's know this insane price BEFORE they scan to email. Since you can't really NOT pay after it has already been emailed to you which you cannot undo. SHAME. Update: I have no problem with you making money. I assume by computer you mean the interface on the copy machine? Since I never used a computer. Sure, charge a fee to use it. But I still think $1 per each page scanned is outrageous. read more

I usually don't have a problem dropping off a pre-paid package with the tape I use and with the boxes I used. The lady I had to deal with was very unpleasant (and to top it off, I HAD to buy a roll of 4.69 tape that I probably won't ever use again). In customer service, when you are telling someone something, don't start off with "first of all" because when you do that, you are being condescending and nobody likes that. And the "second of all" was unnecessary. I used a shoe box to return my text books-- IT'S A BOX, don't tell me that I can't use that type of box. It had no other labels or barcodes on it. I had my tag clearly affixed to the front. And like I told you in the store, I had no other box to use. I don't know what kind of ship you're running, but I'm abandoning it because of your ridiculous deceptive upselling of making me buy YOUR tape and telling me I couldn't use the box I brought it when you ended up accepting it anyway. I'm told that color copies are $.39 per page and after having printed color copies a handful of times already, I'm now told that printing in color is $.75/page because I am not allowed to print myself from my USB drive that i bring in. I was also told that if i brought in my own copy, it would be $.39 for color, but i couldn't take the copy i printed from the computer to reprint at the price I was originally told. read more

After calling to ask for a compensation for those 2 errors with the owner David he told me I should've known better and even mentioned that it would be coming out of his till and the employee's salary!!! He did not let me speak to the manager because he said he was the owner and I'm assuming I will never see that refund.
