I came in hoping to get some work printed on glossy paper, but unfortunately the staff member assisting me didn't seem to know how to do that and suggested laminating instead. I understand that this may not be their fault, but it would really help if employees received better training and there was clearer communication between staff. I ended up trying to go with regular card stock as a backup, but even that couldn't be completed. Overall, it was a frustrating experience and I hope the store can improve both training and service reliability. read more

bad experience. wanted to get something notarized. clerk messed up whole document and then tried to use white out. saying it "should be ok still". if you want something notarized do not go here. do not know what they're doing. email you provided doesn't even work. no you do not have world class service. read more

The people who work here are quite helpful and nice. The store can get extremely busy but the staff can't control this.

I live in South Ogden, so this is the closest UPS facility to my house and it used to be amazing. Not anymore! I came in on a Saturday around 4 pm. Three staffers at the three stations doing in-house projects. Not one of them acknowledged me or paused in what they were doing. They even continued talking back and forth between themselves about random job complaints as though I wasn't even there! I finally asked if anyone was going to help me, or if I should just go to FedEx instead? The one guy then said, "Well, you can go to FedEx if you want, but I can help you here" then continued working on his project. I said, "Okay, WHEN can you help me?" and he said something to the effect of "in about five minutes," so I left and went to FedEx. NIGHT & DAY difference in Customer Service, btw. At FedEx, Tyler welcomed me IMMEDIATELY, repacked my package so it would cost less for me to ship, AND said it would get to Seattle this Tuesday, because their guy was late picking up their outgoing shipment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THE UPS STORE AT 4287 HARRISON WHEN YOU CAN GET THE CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU EXPECT TO RECEIVE AT FED EX on 36th & HARRISON!!! read more

I use this store intermittently when I need to ship things. Great news is, that is EXACTLY one of the things they are great at. Every visit I have is fairly quick, mostly affordable, and I am met with good service. Clerks are able to give me my shipping options and are good to suggest things like insurance, etc, that I never think of when placing said parcel in the hands of a shipping company. They sell some accessories here as well as printing / copying and I am sure there is a myriad of other services this little store has to offer. For me it is placing small brown boxes in to the Universe to be sent somewhere. read more

I've used this store for shipping and services on several occasions and have always had a pleasant experience. . I for one understand that busineses are for profit and also operate under their own rules within the confines of the law. The staff here was friendly and helped me to the best of their ability. I won't be back to this location. What a joke and a waste of my time. I basically learned that if you want to ship via UPS, go to their corporate location. They have a bunch of made up rules here on what they will and will not ship... but the corporate location will ship the same stuff. The franchise owner doesn't want certain business apparently. So I have one item that they won't ship. Then I have one item that they will ship (paperwork) but they want $9 to ship via UPS. They said they could send it USPS for $5. I went up to the post office a block or two away and mailed it for $1.15. Oh, and the post office took about 2 minutes. While I wasted 20 minutes at this location to have nothing shipped through them. You want UPS? Don't go to this location. read more

Wasted 25 minutes! I spent 25 minutes waiting in line to DROP OFF a package. My package was a prepaid, prelabeled Amazon return in the original shipping box. I did it that way so I don't have to stand in line because I have other things to do with my life. They insisted I stand in line, which stretches from the registers to the door, and more than half the people in line were doing the same thing! They have 2 registers, each of which were staffed by one cranky employee, and a third employee stood there and did nothing. Didn't direct people where to go, didn't take everyone's prelabeled packages that were ready to go. That guy stood there and did nothing! I'm contacting the UPS Store corporate offices because this place had only gotten worse over time. Everyone else should too. If enough people tell their corporate offices about this location, they will have to make changes or close down. I'm never going back in this location. I'll drive to North Ogden or Layton as a timesaver since they seem to be able to take my package in under a minute. read more

Very disappointed with the manager at this site. Kind employee at desk needed her to come to front desk to answer our question about scheduling a out of country package pick up that we have now paid UPS twice. Call center sent us to local UPS store. Manager would not come from behind the wall and sent employee back and forth several times. We could hear everything she said. read more

This store is absolutely horrendous. Stay away from here if you need anything notarized. Especially by a woman named Tina Barton. She has no clue what to do when it comes to notarizing your paperwork. She had the audacity to notarize a blank piece of paper and she says this is legal, when the piece of paper that needed to be notarized clearly had a spot for public notary and a stamp. What a joke. She then tells me, "if you knew notary you can do that and attach it to the sheet." Well listen here lady. It's not legal to notarize a blank piece of paper. The only way it's legal is if the piece of paper you notarized clearly references the form that needs to be notarized since there was no place on there to do it. As you can see in the picture there is no reference and she attached it to the form that didn't need notary. To top it all off, she claimed she would make it right and correct the error no charge, but did she? Hell no! Terrible UPS store. STAY CLEAR AWAY!!!!! read more

I went here yesterday around 11am , and was thrilled with the help I received. It was my first time dropping off a DHL package to any location, the lady on shift helped me through every step. When I got in there, I didn't know what to do with the 4 papers that came with the shipping label. She got me in and out in no time, leaving no question that my package was in good hands. I was grateful for this, because I had been to the Clinton store 20 minutes earlier and was told that they couldn't accept DHL packages. Thank you for your help Ogden! read more

Eloping to another state came with a LOT of worry about getting our stuff there. We decided to skip the airlines and ship everything. I called this location to make sure they were open (UPS stores seem to close shop at the drop of a hat here in Louisiana) and that they would hold our package for pickup. They asked that we label it "HOLD FOR PICK UP" and have our name and phone number listed. We arrived 1 minute after close and the doors were locked. Sigh. Fortunately we'd anticipated this and brought the essentials in a carry on. Pick up was only $6! Mailing the box back was also easy. This past week I also overnighted a shiny package to my mother so that she'd know when opening our elopement announcement that there was special news in the package and maybe wouldn't have a heart attack (she loved it). The guy at the UPS store was baffled by my willingness to spend $60 to ship something shiny when there were much cheaper options if I ditched the shiny envelope and put the documents in their special overnight packaging. I convinced him I was nuts and he shipped it the expensive way. read more

These UPS Stores are privately owned and charge you an arm and a leg (like $30 vs $14) for shipping and postage. GO TO THE UPS HUB ON Pennsylvania Avenue and pay so much less!!!!!! Don't use UPS stores to ship! More expensive than the US Post office. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. If I could give zero stars I would. We had to get some important docs sent and my husband paid for postage (obviously) and confirmation. The guy at the counter was busy with like five packages and put it to the side. We got confirmation in the mail that our package was received, so hubby trashed the receipt. Lo and behold a few days later we get our mail back saying it did not have postage (what the heck, right?!). My husband goes to the store AGAIN and asks them to do it again, with postage as requested the first time, for no charge (sounds reasonable, right?). Unfortunately despite being able to look up the information and confirm we were actually there and paid for all this stuff- the guy, who claimed to be the manager, refused to check his computer because we didn't have our receipt. ANYONE could have looked at the envelope and noticed the mistake. The manager, Travis, said the confirmation counted as postage, which shows he didn't understand how these things work. Things became, ahem, heated, and we took our business to the post office. They were shocked and gave us free confirmation because we had such a bad experience with ANOTHER company.
