    Purchased a new stihl weed eater. Sales person filled it will their "2 cycle gas". I used one tank…read moreof fuel. The weed eater ran bad. I took it back the next day. The cylinder and piston were scored. Ipaco said it failed because of lack of lubrication. Stihl doesn't warrant lack of lubrication. They said I can purchase a new piston and cylinder kit for almost 300 dollars. I told them it was their fuel that caused it. They must have filled it with regular gas. If I had known they were dishonest and liars, I wouldn't have purchased a weed eater from them.

    I bought my John Deere riding lawn mower so I thought I would get it serviced therer. I told the…read moreguy who picked my mower up that I wanted it greased, oil filter changed, oil changed, all belts replaced, blades sharpened, and to take a look at why my mower was having some difficulty with an incline as I would get it to an small incline it would hesitate and then move along as normal. After 4 weeks with no word, I was called and told my mower was ready for delivery. I stupidly paid them over the phone as I thought this was a pretty straight forward work order. When I received my riding mower back, the following had been done: (No grease fittings greased, no blades sharpened, no belts replaced), oil filter and oil changed, made a repair on the idler without checking with me first on doing the work and giving me a price, did not replace any of the belts, damaged my perfect driver's seat as it had no wear or discoloring, and did something to my steering that makes it so hard to turn that I need to struggle with 2 hands to get the steering wheel to even move. I have a knob on my steering wheel to turn the wheel more easily and it was a bright yellow when I sent the machine and came back "black" with dirt and grease. My mower had been sitting outside, and when someone came to move it, the seat must have been frozen from low temps, so when it was sat upon, it cracked. The company wouldn't replace or repair the seat even with my offering to pay 1/2 the price of getting the part at their "cost" and 1/2 for labor, and they denied being accountable to make any repairs and wanted to put "tape" on it. Anyone knows that once the surface of something taut like a vinyl/plastic seat cover is compromised, that nothing like glue or tape is going to stop further damage. To replace the belts, I was given an extraordinary price as I believe they didn't want me to come back to get work done in their place. Don't worry. I won't be back. Moral of the story: take pictures of your equipment before sending it to be repaired, get a written copy of work to be done signed by them, don't pay for something before seeing it. I have spent thousands on buying other equipment from them and have recommended them to others. Not anymore!
