Lost a roll of my film, I mean atleast they offered to give me my money back but how do you lose a roll of film it's your job!

Jack is the absolute best! He is so knowledgeable and was incredibly helpful and friendly on both of my visits here. He helped me (a film camera newbie) out with my cameras, taught me how to load film properly and about the functions on my camera. I have used imaging Depot for years and loved them. I'm a photographer and have printed canvases and prints through them often. But lately they have been terrible. My photos came out horrible with practically no color. I printed some at CVS and they looked way better. Since it was a big order, I went in to see if they'd reprint. The manager said that we were "bitching about colors" and told us there was nothing he could do. Completely inappropriate. After a while of trying to get him to fix it, he finally agreed to have them reprinted. When we got the reprints, they were even worse. I will never go there again. So disappointing because they used to be the best. read more

The staff was very helpful finding the battery charger I need form my camera battery. He went directly to the right one, but insisted on opening the package to test that it was the correct charger. He was also very personable and polite while processing our payment. I would recommend this store to others. read more

I I could give them a zero stars I would. We came in here to rent a lens for my camera. They said we just need a credit card and a drivers license which I gave to her. This store is really close to Hill Afb and you would think that they are used to out of state licenses. They refused to let me rent the lens because my license was from out of state even after I told her I was military and stationed here and showed her my military ID. she said the only way she would rent to me is if I paid for 1/2 the value of the lens up front when I reserved the lens. This would have been over $600 dollars to rent the lens for one day. I will take my business to Pictureline I salt lake where the customer service is top notch and they understand that people who live in the area may actually have a reason for an out of state license. read more

TERRIBLE service and horrible quality!! I purchased a bunch of 4x6 & 5x7 prints and they are AT LEAST 10 shades DARKER than the pictures!!! They look like a dark gray wash was put over every single picture and super gloomy not looking anything like the bright/normal original!! When I called and spoke with Jack, he didn't apologize whatsoever! He told me they close in two hours so he most likely would not be able to do them today, even though I needed them today and I would have to make a special trip which took an hour round-trip each time!!! 0 STARS!!! read more

The staff there has always been super helpful and friendly! I had to bring back a decently large purchase and had no problems. I have had some problems with their printing a couple of times, but they've always been willing to fix their errors. Great place to get professional lab prints. read more

Have had cards printed here multiple times and they do a really beautiful job -- nicer than Costco or Shutterfly. It's worth the pain of struggling with their clunky online system for designing the cards. read more

Well I don't know what else to say but, I'M VERY, VERY DISAPOINTED. I went into The Imaging Depot with the intention to get a few things for my camera and I left pissed off. I'm a new filmmaker and photographer and I've been extremely excited about upgrading my gear that will make me that much better. I went into this location basically because of the great review I saw it got on here. I'm the kind of guy that usually buys things online because it's easy. This time I made the decision to go into a actual store because I needed some items and I didn't want to wait for it to come days later after I bought them. I went into that store and the whole time I was in there, not one of the 3 employees asked me or my son if we need help. They didn't even greet or say good bye to us either. I'll admit, I'm pretty much a urban style guy that wears my hat low and listens to rap, so if the reason that I got no help from these employees is because they rather monitor me in case I try to steal something, then that is discrimination and that is heartbreaking. I highly recommend that if you want good customer service and to feel good knowing that someone is there to help, this is NOT the place!! I don't care how good the reviews are. Those reviews are fom people that got lucky that they were worth the employees time and breathe to help, I wonder why I wasn't?! I Hope those employees open their eyes and realize that in order for them to get that job, that they agreed friendly and helpful customer service is priority. PRIORITY!! Ordered some Christmas cards to be printed there. The staff was pretty helpful. However, as I was addressing the cards and putting them in envelopes I noticed that the first stack of 25 cards was crisp and bright. The second box of 25 I opened was not as good. The cards were dull and slightly blurry. It was a minor difference but enough for me to notice. Not sure what happened and I don't have the time to go back and complain over it. Plus I was 80% done putting them all in envelopes when I noticed and had hand written messages on the back of each one. It's just kind of a bummer that half of my recipients will get lesser quality cards. read more

Ever since I found out about this place it's been my number 1 for printing ALWAYS. I can get all of my prints (for my portfolio) from home- using their website is easy, and intuitive, and gives me all the options I'm very particular about as an artist. All the prints are super affordable- compared to Kinkos/FedEx where I was printing before. The Depot's website is faster and better for working in bulk- It's like working with a PC while FedEx is more like a Mac- FedEx tries to organize things TOO much for you. And slows down what should be a simple process. Which works if you're doing huge projects, for public use- but really doesn't when you're just printing for yourself. The Imaging Depot is excellent for casual Matte printing- and ships right to your house. In great quality. I recommend it to everyone I know who is printing photos of all sizes- posters for showing off on your wall-etc. read more

I just walked into the store on main in Layton and stood at their front desk for 5 min. not one person talked to me I looked around could not find one person that looked like they worked there, then a man walked over and answered the phone noticed that I was there but wouldn't you know it he hung up the phone and walked away HE DIDN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I WAS STANDING THERE. didn't even say "ill be just am moment" or anything. I was stunned I could not believe that anyone with credible business sense could be that bad at customer service. You know what the old saying is bad customer service = bad business I left pronto.
