Of course we impulse bought them because we need Christmas candles :) Once at the register with all of our items (the candles and items for the mask), they automatically scanned a 25% off coupon they had sitting by the register. We saved almost $15 that trip! The one thing I really love about michaels is that there's always an active coupon to use! If you don't have a physical one, then search Google and find a digital one. Our experience with Jayson Haskell Construction (JH Construction) started wonderfully. Mr. Haskell…read moregave us a thorough quote and renderings for our two bathroom remodel. Jayson was also willing to work around vanities we already purchased. He even came in on a Saturday to allow us to pick our bathroom products which really helped with our schedules. Our bath remodels were quite small jobs, yet the promised timeline of 9 weeks turned into an 8-month project. The only step of our construction remodel that went smoothly was the electrician. Each day posed one problem after another. The demolition took a lot of time due to only one man doing the demolition and our home was left a mess. Next, the plumbers pulled the old tub, toilets, and sinks and left them in our driveway which blocked the entrance to our garage. We asked for a full wall to be turned into a pony wall and that simple framing was crooked. Shower walls were hung with the wrong color product, the bathroom counter was installed with the wrong product altogether and did not match the incorrect shower wall product. Once the counter material was changed to match the shower wall, a JH worker used acid in our new sink and ruined the countertop. The third countertop was installed crooked and scratched (we finally gave up) and our brand new floor tile grout had to be dyed because 3 different attempts to get the grout the correct color failed. In our master bath, the first tile installation resulted in a non-flush surface, uneven grout lines, and varying tile sizes. It truly looked like preschool students had installed the tile. This resulted in having to re-tile and place a layer of tile on top of the poorly laid tile. Upon paying our final installation to JH construction the tile grout began to change colors, the caulk from the shower started peeling away from the shower walls, and currently, all the grout around the perimeter of our shower is cracked and needs to be fully re-grouted. Now, the caulk is also coming off of the perimeter of our sink. Each day of this remodel was a nightmare. Twenty-six thousand dollars later, the brand new remodel looks like it needs to be remodeled.
