A little of this, a lot of that, some mix and match. The BDO outlet reminds me of a grocery store meets yard sale. Extra stock from local businesses met with some distressed product to create some good deals for people without wasting food or product. We shopped the food sized pretty good. We were in search of some bread dough mix and found the pallets we were looking for. We did make some other purchase but found we REALLY had to watch dates closely as product was either near or over expiration dates. If you're good with that, this can be your place. The other side of the store had a mix and match of things from toys to light bulbs, TP to furnace filters. We found a great score on some mosquito spray and it was worth running through the store. If you're in the neighborhood, it's worth stopping to check it out. read more

I personally love this store this is my favorite location. Such good prices, it's a little bit of a mess but it doesn't bother me much!. Staff has always been helpful as well. I got a soundbar for my tv for $24 normal price of it was $65 and it works just fine. read more

BDO Outlet is a cool place but it can be hit-or-miss. You can ALWAYS find plenty of cookies available here from Lofthouse which is one of the biggest draws for people who come here to grab their cheap $1.50 Lofthouse cookies rather than spend $4.00 at the grocery store. Good deals on shoes and lady's boots, etc. throughout the year. There are some clothing options... shirts, hoodies, etc. but it is a small selection and not the best quality. Some housewares and electronics but they are usually overpriced or often have missing and/or broken pieces. They also carry longboards (street skateboards) and a selection of items from Lifetime industries (picnic/regular tables, kayaks, and basketball standards) all at a decent but not incredibly discounted price. Good selection of household goods and small food items that can either be great deals or in some cases the same price as you would find at any store which basically defeats the purpose of coming here and hence the 2nd reason for my 3-star review. Overall a fun place to shop through if you have some free time and you might find some good deals to take home for a good price. read more

They recently changed the name but it's still the same to me! This is the original location where it all got started, tucked away in the Ogden BDO. I hardly ever buy any of their non-food products but there is plenty to rummage around. A lot of the non-food items seem still overpriced so I rarely buy anything. I buy a lot of 0 cal soda from here because they seem to have a lot. They have all sizes from canned up to 2 L. I guess I have bought some clothes here but most of them are odd sizes that do not fit most people. We usually stick to just buying food that is expired within the same month we are buying it, and usually it's just a few items. Since it's on my way home from other stores I will stop in once a month or so to see what is new or if they have any good deals. Many times you can find good deals on coffee since not many people in Utah drink coffee. They have recently started stocking more perishable items but I haven't even looked at those just out of fear of then being out of date.They do have a section that is locked up with more higher-priced items but most of it is open box so I haven't risked buying those items either read more

I'm gonna give any discount store a pretty good review cause I absolutely love bargain shopping. This is comparable to NPS in prices but not really in any other way. It has some good cereal options and boxes of random snacks you can buy individually. There's lots of unique condiments you can try for a cheap price. There is like just two fridges with cold food. They have a small clothes section that actually had some really great options. They have things of baby supplies. My only complaint is the bins of children's clothes is so random and disorganized it's hard to spend time going through them. (This is why i only gave 4 stars) My hubs and I have tons of fun going and would go more often if it were a bit closer. read more

I bought nice, new Adidas football cleats for $5! My friend got a nice, new sleeping bag for $4! That's amazing! We've decided to go to BDO once a week or so to see what new discounted items are in stock...there's always several good deals and the anticipation to see what new items have arrived (they continually get new stuff) makes it a pretty fun (and affordable) family activity. read more

This store is awesome. It has enough consistent product to keep me coming back, but is always changing as well. They always have Aspen mills bread for $1.69. They always have Coke and Pepsi products at 3/$1 for 20 oz. a lot of times they have the 12 pk cans for $1.99 as well. They also carry a large variety of Lofthouse cookies at half the price of other retail stores. My personal favorite is the malt-o-meal cereal, and the variety of Hershey products that are always available. I have noticed occasionally some weird prices on random items, but you can tell it is probably a bunch of young college kids in the back just guessing on certain things. Any time I have called them out on a price, they have been more than happy to change it for me. I would suggest signing up for there email list. This is great place to shop! read more

My experience after looking through this whole store is that the prices just aren't that great. You go there sort of thinking that you are going to get a bargain because you are buying seconds and outdated goods and from what I saw today, that wasn't the case. Now, they did have a special on strawberries that WAS a real good deal. A case for $2.99. I bought some Aspen Mills bread there for $1.69 a loaf that expires here in a few days. If I am not mistaken, you can get that bread at Costco for around the same price. I will probably go back here when they advertise deals like what they had today, but not for anything else. read more

I have found that I am able to find as good, or better pricing by shopping the ads at local supermarkets.

I love shopping here! I have found some really great furniture pieces, clothing, kitchen items, and toys. I like to check the prices and compare them with the largest online websites and I have consistently been pleased with the prices and the bargains I've found. The items in stock are always changing so it's always worth stopping in to see what they have. The staff is very friendly and the store is clean and organized, especially for being a discount store.
