You could get lost in there for hours looking at cool gear and oddities or maybe shopping for some surplus gear. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! We have been loyal customers of yours for almost 30 years. After growing up in Utah we make it a tradition to return with our kids each year when we visit. It is truly one of our favorite traditions. Unfortunately today when there our son was FALSEY accused of trying to shoplift some candy which was 100% fabricated. Employee even went as far as to say they had video evidence and when asked to be shown the video because we knew it was false he was not able to provide it. I am appalled that they are treating loyal customers like criminals without any good reason. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Cool place. Took the bride and I up to the Willard Bay store. Huge place. I got stuck in the cooking area looking at all the odds and ends. It's just crazy how much random stuff is in there. The craziest thing here for me is the wedding registry. It's so foreign a concept to me I just get amazed when I see it. I miss the "Country Boy Store" commercials they ran many years ago. OTOH, I don't quite miss what the store was in those days. At that time, it really was more of an Army Navy surplus store with the oddest rows of bins of this and that up front. Over the years, they've really cleaned up the place, made it more professional, and increased the merchandise. Granted I won't need a full tack store, nor is it my style of clothing, but it's been nice to see the place grow. Yes, there's still the ability to purchase a Vietnam era piece of tube electronics buried in the back as well. It's great fun just browsing. It's also more likely I'll find other merchandise these days as well. I won't make a special trip the 75 miles I live away from here, but it's so close to I-15, that I will often make a stop when going past to somewhere else. read more

Have you ever been to Bucees in Texas? That's what comes to mind when you walk into this store. You might come in for one thing, but won't leave before you've visited their bathrooms at least twice. It's a western store, tack shop, military surplus, old timey candy shop, hardware, camping, hunting and fishing store...all rolled up into one. They even have a cooking section full of kitchen gadgets, flavorings and spices. The only thing you can't buy here is gas, but there are plenty of cured snacks here that'll give it to you. Prices on everything are average to maybe a little high on some items. But it's not a big box store so they aren't dealing in volume the way those stores can. There's a little café inside the store if you get hungry during your visit. Plan for an hour or two, even if you're just browsing. You will want to see everything. read more

Tools, garden supplies, kitchen supplies, home decor, canning and emergency essentials, candy, ranch/work wear, casual, hunting clothes and supplies, horse tack, leather for crafting, fishing, water sports like kayaks, paddleboards, wakeboards. They have guns, camping gear, including a huge big room just for paracord. They have tactical clothing and military supplies and clothing too. It gets pretty crowded on a Saturday, but it'd still fun to go and browse. It's also fun to buy things you don't need and ALWAYS helpful when they have things no one else carries. Been shopping here for years and it is definitely a throwback to a different time. They have a great hunting/shooting department and very great rope department. We always find odd stuff and the occasional thing we never knew we needed. It's an experience store and probably the biggest candy aisle in northern Utah. Nice employees and pretty helpful. They are a Stihl dealer and very knowledgeable on the Stihl products and parts, very helpful. They can be on the pricey side at times but also have great sales. I do wish their Friday and Saturday closing hours were a little later in the day. read more

I love this store! I always have found their slogan funny but true. "We have everything you need if we can find it." They do have everything and they always help me find just what I need when I stop in. The main isle is lined with gadgets and things that you never knew you needed, but once seen you just gotta have. All are very affordable and fun. The rope room is where I went this time for a cat scratching post I was making. The guy in there knew just what to show me and quickly filled my request by measuring and cutting the rope. He even taped the ends to prevent fraying until I got home. They are associated with Ace Hardware so the selection is great, but they have so much more. They have from horse tack and western wear to waterski, hunting, and kitchen. They even have Zombie Apocalypse section with survival and first aid gear. Time flies as I walk the isles.their candy section has also always been a favorite area. The store still stocks surplus and a lot more! *GUNS: S&E's stocks most popular makes and models of rifles and pistols at a good price. The difference here is the service staff. They're knowledgeable and helpful and are NOT jerks like you find in a lot of gun dealerships. You will also find a big assortment of gun accessories. *CAMPING: Buy tents, stoves, sleeping bags, caste iron and whatever else you can imagine needing for camping. * CLOTHES and BOOTS: You will find mostly western and work clothes and shoes. * SALVAGE: A lot of people don't understand the art of salvage. However, if you want something very rare and hard-to-find you will probably find it in the S&E's salvage yard. Give yourself some time and snoop around until you find what you need. You may even come across some cool stuff you don't need but still want! * HARDWARE: You will find a bunch of tools, nuts, bolts and other stuff for home projects. They even have a tiny Cafe in the middle of the store by the clothing that I often see a few elderly gentlemen sitting there shooting the breeze. The gun counter employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. The candy section is vast and they have a lot of stuff you just don't see anymore. Smith and Edwards used to be my favorite place to stop as I passed through Utah. But had a terrible experience the other day. I found a bit I had been searching everywhere for, and the price was great . It was clearly marked 24.99. When I went to check out the total was much too large, so I checked my receipt. I had been charged 54.99! The girl at the register had no idea what to do which shows a huge lack of training. So she called a manager who also had no idea what to do. She told me the price is whatever it rings up, not what it is clearly labeled. She admitted the label was a mistake, but would not make good on the pricing. I have never in my life found a store that would not honor its pricing, nor make good on their mistake. Very disheartening. I won't be going back. I now wonder how many times they have cheated me in the past and I just didn't catch it. read more

This store has a bunch of stuff! Lots of different sections of items offered here from food and kitchenware to emergency survival stuff. There's an ACE hardware within the store so there's tools and hardware available. Great store for anything outdoors that you need (aside from the big stuff like buying the motorized vehicles..) and they even have an area for horse items like saddles. This is a great store to also go to if you make jerky as they have a lot of different choices for the spices. Prices are decient to good-sometimes the same as amazon. read more

I love this place and on weekends is always busy. Prices are competitive and they have products that are not found in other stores. For example I buy all my wood pellets here for my smoker. They carry the camp chef brand which is a few bucks cheaper than the traegar brand. Lots of hidden treasures and you'll usually leave with not than you wanted to spend. They seem to have something for everyone. All the employees I've ever interacted with have been really nice. read more
