$7000 in materials. $6000 ordered in one delivery with the Pro Desk. Took three days for a qualified individual to accept payment and make the order. Once ordered, delivery was on time. Two items were substituted for specific items needed. Made a call to have those two items delivered and swapped for the incorrect ones. This was confirmed. Those items were job and time critical. After three days I call again to find out where those delinquent items are. Then they tell me instead of swapping them, I have to return the incorrect items, then pay again for the new ones, then they will order the correct items. Another lost three days. I have to drive to town to return and pay. Again, expecting two more days, after three I call again. Cant get through to the pro desk. This happens two days in a row. At some point one item shows up via UPS. The other item turns out not to have been ordered at the same time and tracking shows it now coming from NY state with an unknown shipping date. Looking at the HD website for this product it now shows delivery by a date that is 14 days away. I end up having to cancel this order and reorder it from Lowes with a three day lead time until home delivery. In summary, way too painful for a Pro order. I wont use HD again for an important project. The people I dealt with at the Ogden store were all very nice, though insensitive to the delays, but communication within HD and to this Pro customer were sorely lacking. I recommend looking at alternative lumber yards first if its an important project. read more

Re: Order No. H4411-221984, in the amount of $2,705.55 I purchased the last Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro LT 46 in. 23 HP V-Twin Kohler 7000 Series Engine Hydrostatic Drive Gas Riding Lawn Tractor from Home Depot on May 23, 2023. This Lawn Tractor was scheduled to be delivered to my home on Monday June 5, 2023 between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM. At 2:00 PM on June 5, 2023 I called Home Depot, Riverdale Store, to see if they could provide an estimate of the time when the delivery would be made. The Home Depot representative put me on hold while she checked for the delivery time. When she came back on she told me that they didn't have the Lawn Tractor that I had purchased. Apparently they sold it again to some other party. They offered a $100 deduction for their screw-up on another Lawn Tractor when their next delivery is made. Employees were not social distancing or practicing any behaviors that should be in place during the current situation. After several minutes in the store I left and went to the competitor down the street and was pleased to see their employees wearing masks and trying to protect their customers. Applied for a Home Depot credit card to finance a window install job we were having them do. The estimator showed up two hours late. the install was the only good part of the process. Now we are being charged late fees because their website won't take the payment even tho we've tried several times. And after we signed up the changed our interest free time from 24 months to months. The payment process has been an absolute joke!! Will definitely cancel the card as soon as possible and will not be using them for future projects! read more

It's Home Depot! I like to build my shopping list in the app and use it to help me find the things I need in store. You can also avoid the problem of looking for out of stock things because the app will show the inventory at your store of choice. Every interaction I have had with their employees has been pleasant. Getting help finding stuff is hit or miss some times. If you need help getting something heavy off a shelf or into your truck they have always been available to help. read more

Its hard for me to judge a place like this harshly. I mean you're going to get the same thing as far as product goes so I guess the only comments and points to review is the service they offer. We went here, this time around, simply to get a couple keys made for our office. We were honestly here way too long. We sat and waited at the key desk for quite a while. We then found someone who jumped on the phone and called someone over. Even after this, it took several minutes for someone to come and the guy who did was saying he wasn't even the one who was suppose to be over here but he would help us anyway. He mentioned a thing or two about it to someone else but nothing seemed to come of it. I think they need to have people who are going to man their posts when they are assigned to it or however it works. Maybe there was something else going on but it just kinda seems ridiculous that we waited that long to get a key. The guy who ended up helping us was a pretty awesome guy. He was nice and helpful. I like going here for any large project I have. Its hard to find stuff but the workers seems to know where things are at about 93% of the time. Quick checkout and everything else seems to go smooth. Come here but you might have to wait depending on what you are wanting to go there for. read more

This store is the WORST experience I've ever had on my life, i ordered and paid in full a General Electric dishwasher including extra 99 dollars for installation. Home depot sent me a broken dishwasher and blamed GE and wouldn't replace the broken dishwasher, after 4 months they reluctantly replaced the GE dishwasher but, wouldn't install. So then I asked for the 99 dollars I had spent in 2018, they wouldn't honor it, but with my multiple calls and them telling me that it has to be corporate that will reimburse me the 99 but, never happened. I called multiple times until 6 months later they gave me the 99 dollars. I will never go to that messed up store with messed up managers. They need to close that ogden store for multiple reasons. read more

Ordered a washer and dryer online. Had issues with processing my card. No big deal, they sent an email and we walked through it. Charged my card few days later refunded my money never emailed or call to say there was issues (billing address is different than shipping.) resolution was to go to a local store and order the product as they swipe the card. Was told they had washer and dryer in stock and would be delivered 19 November. 18 November I never received a phone call and I contacted the Home Depot help line. "Yes the delivery team didn't call because the washer won't be in stock till 14 December at earliest." What a joke Home Depot, I have been without washer and dryer since I placed my order with you 29 October. Y'all need to place yourself in the customers shoes for once and stop making excuses for your employees and teams. I will now strictly go to Lowe's or another company, Home Depot your customer service is complete trash in my opinion, I'd rather pay higher prices knowing I'll actually get my products on time. read more

When shopping for home goods you are bound to get the same product any where else. However, when it comes to service you will not. We normally stay away from Home Depot and shop with Lowes. We decided to give them a chance for the flooring that we wanted. We ordered the flooring super easy, front desk was very nice, and were totally willing to answer any questions or concerns. We pulled over to the pro loading area and they were loading the pallet right into the bed of my truck. I wasn't to concerned at first because why would they offer this service if they didn't have skilled associates operating the forklift? Started off great and than the associate hit my truck with the forklift, lowered the forklift way to low that it pushed down on the truck, tried to pull the fork out and that dragged across the bottom of our truck bed. I was simply going to leave my complaint at the front desk as a training opportunity. The damage wasn't that bad and I simply didn't want this to happen to anyone else and Home Depot risk causing the next person more damage. The front desk called their Manager over and started to explain the issue. He then interrupted his front desk and without turning to look at me and asked " So, was it bad? " Me " No." Manager " Ok, and. " Me " I am wanting to report constructive criticism and to request that you provide deeper and proper forklift training." still not even looking at me the customer Manager " okay, do you just want to make it official?" When you respond to a customer as though you don't care, we then no longer care to work with you, nor do we feel you are being an advocate for us. You should definitely provide more training to your managers as they should be leading by example. That would be to Connect with the customer, listen to the customer, and resolve the issue. This felt like it was simply brushed off, and now we will most definitely be returning to our Amazing Lowes customer service. Sucks that we purchased our flooring through you because it was for our entire home and I would much rather Lowes receive my money. We were so impressed with Home Depot today. We picked up our snowblower we ordered over the phone at Will Call. A store employee named George went out of his way to help us with the snowblower. He explained everything about the snowblower from the fuel to use to starting it! The best customer service ever! George is a great guy working at a great store. read more

Pathetic, not only is there zero customer service they don't have very much merchandise that you can get at any other home depot. The associates will actually tell you to go to other stores. The garden center has been closed two days in a row while they're restocking the shelves. If you ask to go in the garden center the garden associate will have to open the gate all the while waiting for you to leave. I was told to come back in a week when they would have much more merchandise? The whole time the lady was standing by the entrance waiting for me to leave. A real uncomfortable situation to say the least. I did not feel comfortable to shop there at all. The women at the paint counter did not look up at the customers when asked how she was doing she would not answer back. Gave the wrong amount of paint. If she had a sign on her saying she hate her job it would of been less subtle. The cashier asked us when checking out to lift up the bags of soil very light bags so she could scan them after asking if we made sure the items we were purchasing all had bar codes? I am not sure what type of training the people receive if any but maybe point out to them the customer is not a nuisance or an interruption or someone who wants to deal with an employee's surly attitude. Making a complaint with the manager was also futile unless he really has zero idea who works in the store and if the garden center is actually open or not. He was more interested in trying to find out what gate I went in then addressing the problem. The gate was inside the store after telling him that twice he just kept asking the same question. Personally, i will never step in that Home Depot again. read more

I love Home Depot, except for this particular store in Ogden. We are DIY'ers and have made hundreds of trips into Home Depots in Utah. This particular store is awful! I had to ask three times to get someone to cut lumber for me. It was super irritating seeing as how I was packing three children with me back and forth from the lumber in the back of the store, to the desk in the very front. I went on two different occasions just so I wouldn't be biased, and both trips I had employees walk past me and not make eye contact, in what I assume was I don't want to help you. Most Home Depots you constantly have employees asking you how they can help. I also had to wait for another employee to put down her PHONE and stop talking to the other employee so I could be helped. The actual store is just like any other Home Depot, but this branch is full of people who can't answer your questions and make no effort to find out for you. read more
