First "the good"--This place has a great selection of things you won't find in a big box store…read more Folks are pretty helpful and the pricing is fairly reasonable. You'll pay a bit more than Lowes or Home Depot but for me it's worth it to get something you can't buy anywhere else. Next, "the OK"--the quality is so-so. I think some of their stuff spends a lot of time in the greenhouse. For example, their perennials are kind of leggy and their roses had "bloomed out" in early May--much earlier than they should. Shrubs and trees were better. Last, the "not-so-good"- Their return policy is pretty strict. They give you a pamphlet that shows you how to plant stuff and also has an entire page with their guarantee policy. Read the guarantee policy. There are all sorts of exclusions to their plant guarantee and you need to save the dead plant, tags and receipt. In addition, I purchased more plants than I needed (just in case) and luckily made it back within 48 hours (Apparently, you have 48 hours to return anything--even if it is still in the pot). Otherwise I would have been out of luck and even then, I didn't get a refund but store credit. Bottom line--this is a good place to purchase plants you can't get anywhere else but I'd go to the big box stores for the basics.

So, I called their customer service to check the order status. 2nd problem is the cutomer service rep had such a strong accent that I could hardly understand her. 3rd problem is she said that my door was being shipped to a store an hour away in another city, and thats where I had to pick it up. I have a Lowe's about a block away. So I asked if they could ship the door to the store in my city or to my house, and she said no unless she canceled my order and reorderd it. I told her that would be ok as long as I could get the door by the "next day". 4th problem is she canceled my order and then said that I could pick up the door (next month) at the store thats an hour away. Yes, the same store where I was supposded to pick up the door the next day, before she canceled my order. I reminded her that I need the door the next day. I told her not to cancel my order then and i'll go pick it up at the store in another city. She said that she couldnt becase she already canceled my order. The 5th problem, she told me to drive to the store tomorrow thats an hour away and buy the door that she just canceled. I asked her to confirm that the door will be there and she couldn't confirm. I seriously could have got more help calling McDonald's to help get my door. I spend about 100k a year at Home Depot, and thats where I will continue to buy after the nonsense Lowe's just put me through. Lowe]s should be ashamed about their professionalism.

Several lines of good, reliable equipment in most every price range. You aren't going to find "cheap" here but you will find quality. They don't sell the low-end products and you will find name brands for like Echo, Stihl, Cub, Toro, Honda, and a few others in the homeowner lines and add a few for the pros. Summer and winter (when we have it) equipment can be had at Wilkinson. Repair: They do a vast array of warranty work and what isn't under warranty is done at a fair price. Now, you need to keep in mind that there is a rush every spring to get lawn equipment worked on / tuned up and another lag in the fall for snow equipment. They work through it as fast as they can but hey, how many people can they possibly have work there? There is also a lag on parts during those times of year. I also like that they will do repair / warranty work on ANY equipment they can, no matter where you bought it (some dealers will only work on their own sales which is kind of poopy. You can trust these folks. They are on the third, fourth, or fifth generation of people working under the family name and you feel like they really care about you when you use their services.
