And I found she had some other discontinued patterns that our other dogs have sported. It was Christmas in spring! She even offers bookmarks that Lupine will make just for Pet Expectations, and custom patterns only available from Jill. Sometimes her prices are even a little lower than buying direct from Lupine. She may not always have stock on hand, but will get it. If you can wait, helps to save a few dollars. Besides Lupine, Jill has an extensive list of other pet products you might not think you need until you see them. ;) Jill's communication and customer service are phenomenal. She's lovely to speak with. Always get a personal thank you email for an order and another when the order ships. She's even called to let me know an item wasn't in stock and did I want to wait until she got it, or cancel that part of the order. Shipping to US addresses is only $2.50 for orders under $49, after which it's free. And she offers little gifts with each order. :)

The lady who did her nail grind was very friendly and SO good with my dog when she was anxious. DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR -- EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED…read more I am genuinely so disappointed and thoroughly shocked by this experience. We went into PetSmart to buy a 50-cent fish, and somehow this turned into the most ridiculous experience. The employees wanted me to tell them the exact dimensions of my tank and basically everything that was in it before they would sell me the fish. Like... am I supposed to have the exact measurements and entire contents of my fish tank memorized off the top of my head while I'm standing in the store?! I came in to buy a 50-cent fish, not take a pop quiz about my aquarium. Then they told me they would not sell me the fish because they didn't think I was bringing it to a safe location. Excuse me?! You have no idea where I'm taking it, what my setup looks like, or how I care for my fish, yet you decided I wasn't providing a safe environment based on a few questions I couldn't answer perfectly on the spot. And this is what REALLY gets me: PetSmart had well over 200 fish crammed into a small tank together, but they refused to sell me ONE fish to put in my own larger tank, which is actually bigger than the tank they had all of those fish living in. If that store tank is supposedly acceptable for hundreds of fish, then why is my much larger tank supposedly not safe for one fish?! The fish was 50 CENTS. What more could I possibly be asking for?! I wasn't asking for some exotic animal or something unreasonable. I wanted ONE little fish. Apparently, though, I'm expected to spend $40+ on a new tank because the tank I already have supposedly isn't good enough. If there is a specific tank size required to purchase a fish, THAT NEEDS TO BE CLEARLY ADVERTISED BEFORE CUSTOMERS WAIT IN LINE TO GET A FISH. Don't advertise a 50-cent fish and then suddenly tell people they need to spend $40+ before they can take it home. It is also pretty ironic that PetSmart will put the fish in a tiny plastic bag for you to carry it home in, but then act like you need an extremely specific setup for it to live in. If these standards are so important, they should be consistently applied. And honestly, the employees' attitudes were the worst part. They were incredibly rude, dismissive, and acted like they couldn't care less. I understand wanting to make sure animals are going to safe homes, and I completely support responsible pet ownership. But there is a respectful way to explain a policy, and this was NOT it. If PetSmart truly believes a fish needs a certain size tank to be safe and healthy, then PetSmart should make sure the fish in their own store are being kept according to those same standards. I left the store genuinely shocked that I was refused a 50-cent fish because they decided my home wasn't safe without even seeing it. The entire situation could have been handled politely and professionally, but instead the employees were rude and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. PetSmart, do better. Be clearer about your requirements, treat customers with respect, and maybe make sure your own fish displays reflect the standards you expect customers to follow.

They sell it in bulk, so you can get however much you want (a pound to hundreds of pounds, etc). They also offer some vitamins, hemp products, toys, and treats, but the selection is fairly small. The employees are always very friendly, and sometimes have their charming pups hanging out in the store. If you haven't tried their food they will give you a free pound of dog food, or a small bag of cat food for your pet to try. Of course my Great Dane (who is a super picky eater) loved their food more than any other food she's ever had! Their prices are quite a bit higher than any other dry pet food ($2.50-$2.95 lb for dogs and $2.25-$2.95 for cats) - I might be a little off on those prices, but it's something like that. They do offer a discount if you buy over 20 pounds of cat food or 55 lbs of dog food. My cat eats their food exclusively, but I supplement my dogs normal food with just a bit of their dog food as a treat. For me the price is just too high to feed a large dog, although I wholly believe they have a great product. They also offer free delivery to anywhere in the Salt Lake valley area (I'm not sure what the minimum purchase is).

I'm really disappointed with my experience here. On multiple occasions, the wrong service was done…read moreon my dog even though I clearly communicated what I wanted. While I understand that mistakes can happen, it became frustrating that it occurred more than once. I will say that when the correct service is done, the grooming itself is usually decent, it has just been difficult getting the correct service performed. Toward the end, they did acknowledge the situation, but it felt more focused on what I could have done differently rather than fully taking responsibility. I did want the bath and nail trim, but the most important service I requested was the shave. Unfortunately, the shave was not done. At checkout, I was initially told the total would be around $100 for the bath even though the main service I requested was not completed. I ultimately paid $66 for services that were not what I had asked for. When my dog was brought back to me, I was told he had been shaved to 5/8, which he clearly was not. After reviewing the groomer's notes, I was told he had received a contour and butt trim services I had declined at the beginning when they were offered. I had specifically asked for the same shave he received during his previous visit. I do acknowledge there may have been some miscommunication at the front desk, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, when it happens more than once, it becomes difficult to overlook. I also felt uncomfortable bringing my dog back to have it corrected because I worried I might be viewed as a difficult customer, and I never want to feel concerned about how that could affect how my dog is treated. Customer service and clear communication are extremely important when trusting someone with your pet. After reading some of the owner's responses to other Google reviews, the replies came across as unprofessional and poorly written. While I understand wanting to defend your business, the tone of those responses was disappointing. After giving several chances, I unfortunately don't feel comfortable bringing my dog back. I hope the facility works on improving customer service, as it is one of the most important aspects of running a business.
