I'm really disappointed with my experience here. On multiple occasions, the wrong service was done on my dog even though I clearly communicated what I wanted. While I understand that mistakes can happen, it became frustrating that it occurred more than once. I will say that when the correct service is done, the grooming itself is usually decent, it has just been difficult getting the correct service performed. Toward the end, they did acknowledge the situation, but it felt more focused on what I could have done differently rather than fully taking responsibility. I did want the bath and nail trim, but the most important service I requested was the shave. Unfortunately, the shave was not done. At checkout, I was initially told the total would be around $100 for the bath even though the main service I requested was not completed. I ultimately paid $66 for services that were not what I had asked for. When my dog was brought back to me, I was told he had been shaved to 5/8, which he clearly was not. After reviewing the groomer's notes, I was told he had received a contour and butt trim services I had declined at the beginning when they were offered. I had specifically asked for the same shave he received during his previous visit. I do acknowledge there may have been some miscommunication at the front desk, and I understand that mistakes happen. However, when it happens more than once, it becomes difficult to overlook. I also felt uncomfortable bringing my dog back to have it corrected because I worried I might be viewed as a difficult customer, and I never want to feel concerned about how that could affect how my dog is treated. Customer service and clear communication are extremely important when trusting someone with your pet. After reading some of the owner's responses to other Google reviews, the replies came across as unprofessional and poorly written. While I understand wanting to defend your business, the tone of those responses was disappointing. After giving several chances, I unfortunately don't feel comfortable bringing my dog back. I hope the facility works on improving customer service, as it is one of the most important aspects of running a business. read more

Mandy's Pet Chalet did an outstanding job grooming our Bernese Mountain Dog! He is full grown and they were able to groom him perfectly and in perfect time. They made sure he was calm and took great care of him. Jenny the Manager was very informative and asked many questions to make sure our dog got the care and services we needed. We had a very positive experience and Rachel did a really good job on my dog. The front desk service was very personable and friendly.

My two kittens were groomed by Frenchie, I believe. I took them in at noon and each appointment was booked for an hour. One kitten from noon to 1:00 and the other from 1:00 to 2:00. This was their first groom so I was told by the lady at the front that they would take their time with them and that she would send me a message once they were done. I agreed and everything was great. However, I hadn't heard anything by 3:00 so I called at 3:30 and no one answered so I left a voicemail. My husband got off of work at around 4:30 and said he would swing by on his way home to see what was up. When he got there at close to 4:40 (Mandy's closes at 5:00), both of my kittens were in their kennel sitting on the front desk. No one had called or messaged me when they were done. So in total, they were at Mandy's for over 4.5 hours. They were groomed to perfection, but I would've appreciated an update. I was starting to get a bit worried when I didn't hear anything from them. read more

Awful experience. Had an appointment to get my cat bathed, brushed, and have her claws trimmed with "soft paws" applied. My cat has gotten groomed before and this has not happened. When I picked my cat up she looks like she has not been groomed at all. She is still covered in dandruff and loose fur. All of her soft paw claw covers came off within a half an hour of her being home, and upon further inspection of her claws, one of them is completely split in half. My poor kitty. It also took them over 3 hours to complete this supposed "grooming," when it has been done in the past, BETTER, in about an hour. When we called to complain they refused to give a refund and told us to bring her back. No way am I letting them near my cat again. read more

I always like their politeness and quality of work, my animals always are excited to see the groomers and they cat dog and guinea pig leaves, smelling, clean and not damp and sometimes they come home with a cute bandannas! I highly recommend Mandys in Pet Chalet to anyone who is looking for an ease off your schedule, and helping hands in your life. My life is very hectic and chaotic with work and we're traveling and these guys make pet sitting and grooming that much easier. read more

It would appear that someone tried to hide my 1 star review for this place by writing a 5 star review using my account, my dog's name and my photos. Below is the review that "someone" wrote. I won't make accusations because I don't know who did it. I can't help but wonder though who would have an incentive to hide a low review of a company? Hmmmm If I were considering this groomer I might consider all of the 5 star reviews as suspicious and possibly fabricated. Just saying. I'm livid that "someone" would use my account, my dog and my photos to hide the poor performance of a company. Ironically the pictures they chose to use are the ones I posted showing how much hair came off of my husky AFTER they were done de-shedding him and returned him to me. Worse grooming experience ever. I was a bit apprehensive to bring in our rescue given that she was a little 'scrapy' when we adopted her a year ago--it took her 3 days to come out of her crate without bearing her teeth! I raised my concerns when dropping her off and asked the groomer not to push her. The groomer (Cerina?) was receptive to my concerns, and very patient with my little girl! She looked great, and apparently did well during the experience despite her initial fear of the dryer! read more

We brought our dog here twice. First time was great. Second time they trimmed her nails too short and they bled as well as cut her ear. It was horrible. They were apologetic though so that was good. But this shouldn't happen when you bring your dog in to he groomed. I want to know my dog is in good hands when I drop her off and just felt like they were a little careless. read more

We took our labradoodle here and we thought they did a good job. She is still a pup so I'm sure it is difficult to get her to sit still for long. She came back happy and smelling nice. We loved the extra touches with the bows and scarf. The price was a little more than I wanted to pay but I guess that is the life of owning a pet. The staff were all friendly as well. Very professional and competent. I was a bit anxiety bringing in my cat for grooming, but they exceeded my expectations. My cat had awful matts on her back which had become "hard" and I'm sure very uncomfortable for her. I brought her to Mandy's to just have them shave her back. When I picked her up, the bill was $16! I paid $250 to get all 3 of my rescue cats groomed. I don't think they used cat-safe soap because all 3 of my cats have been throwing up profusely for almost a week now. All 3 of them. Took them into the vet and he said to not go back as the soap they're ingesting is making them sick. read more

I have been bringing my pup here for years. I make the drive all the way from Salt Lake City specifically to bring him to this shop. I always tip 20% or more and I always add the extra services. Life happens and today I got stuck in traffic. As soon as I got stuck in traffic and saw I would be late I immediately called and tried to get through to communicate with them. After 3 calls I got through and let them know. I totally understand late policies and was willing to pay a late fee or whatever but these "ladies" literally did nothing to try and help me given the situation. Unfortunately I cannot control the traffic and they treated me like it was my fault. Typically I don't leave reviews but I've been a loyal customer for years and got treated like my dogs droppings . I don't recommend coming here because they don't care that "life events" happen. If I could give them ZERO STARS I WOULD FOR HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
