Very disappointed with this groomer. We've taken our dog here five times and always loved bringing him--until this last visit on Nov. 22. During his appointment, he was injured. When I picked him up, I was told it was "just a little cut" and that they had put a powder on it. They still charged me the full amount. Once we got home, I saw it was actually a pretty deep wound where a small chunk of skin was taken off. He was very stressed, wouldn't let us touch near it, and even when he tried to run, he kept stopping to lick the wound. Nothing was done except an insincere "sorry" from the girl who handed him to me. I called afterward and was told the owner would reach out on Monday, but no one ever contacted me. We used to trust this place, but this incident makes me doubt the carefulness of the groomer who worked on him that day. Downplaying the injury and failing to follow up is unacceptable. read more

They did an amazing job with Brody. I was worried because he is a puppymill rescue for 4 years of his life. So he gets a little hesitant to let his ears face and legs being touched. The last place we took him to they couldn't finish him up so we had to bring him in twice. I really didn't think they knew how to work around rescues. So I was really hoping to find someone that really knows how to work with rescues. And I can say ai have found the place! They did a great job with him. They also kept me updated throughout his appointment. Also great customer service I have a before picture and an after video of him. read more

The website let me reserve the $30 service and somehow I ended up paying $100. When asking for clarification on the price the attendant said the "Promotion" is on top of the $59 Bath Service (includes: Comprehensive Wellness Check, Hydra Shampoo & Moisturizing Conditioner, Nail Trim, Teeth Brushing, Ear Cleaning, Anal Gland Expression, Brush Out and Blow Dry) despite the "promotion" saying it already includes a bath (shampoo & conditioner). And the online website allowing the "promotion" and deshed to be selected without the Bath Service. Overall this feels like false advertising. Make sure to clarify thoroughly before dropping off your pets on the services provided. read more

Recently moved to Utah and my chihuahua/Jack Russel was over due for grooming. What caught my attention looking at Yelp was their open and bright grooming tables and space. It was very easy to speak to someone on the phone and we found a time to schedule my dog's appointment. I met Phoenix, who took the time to go over what my main desires for grooming goals/sensitive skin issues, and he was very gentle with my nervous pup, as chihuahuas can be. Phoenix did a fantastic job and even did a little touch up per request to ensure my pup's "whispy" hairs were a little more trimmed to keep from becoming irritations. And the shampoo smells so clean! I asked if they can take a few inches off her hair since it's starting to grow long and they end up shaving the whole thing off. New groomers on Antelope Drive in Layton. Clean, bright salon. No chair in the lobby though, and we were just having nails trimmed, which is an EVENT with a Shiba! Our Tai is a three year old with actually a pretty calm personality, but like all Shibas, he doesn't like his feet touched. We tried a 'big name' groomer who was unable to do it. Toni was excellent! I asked her if she had ever worked with Shibas before, and she said yes, They have big personalities! Haha So true!! She was great with him, quick and efficient. She was calm and so was he, much to my shock! Highly recommend this business and especially Toni! read more

The first thing I noticed walking in, was how clean it is! And it smells good! And the people are so helpful. There is also a huge glass wall, where you can see them giving the haircuts. It was so assuring to see another dog nearly completely groomed, and looking amazing! I always have had to just gamble that the people behind the curtain know what they're doing. Awesome experience! Fantastic team. Very professional, kind and competent . I really think Honey had a good time. I also really liked the updates! with pictures! And the wellness review is such a great idea!
