I have shopped at End Zone for about 16 years as a well-stocked store for German-style board games. There was a time that if you told them what games you liked best, they would recommend a purchase to you with a money-back guarantee that you'd love it. The few times I tried it their recommendation was worth the purchase. Now with almost 500 games in my collection and using BoardGameGeek for most game news, reviews and players' community, I only stop in for board games occasionally if they happen to have something new on hand for as fair a price as anywhere--sometimes works out, sometimes not. Today the stock on hand in the Clearfield store is quite impressive--less so in Bountiful. Indeed the 10% off MSRP prices are less common now than they once were yet I still recommend End Zone for its generally reliable effort to put some 'friendly' into the Friendly Local Game Store shopping experience. That said, if the small staff are tied up chatting with anyone else, the huge amount of stock can be challenging to navigate and find what you're searching for among the stuffed and cluttered shelves. I stop in End Zone more often now for the large LEGO store that now occupies half of the former retail space -- with the DnD and collectible miniatures/card games that one were there having expanded to the retail space next door. Their business has grown a lot! As a frequent LEGO buyer I find End Zone is an awesome store for adult fans and kids. As a 'gold' account member they get to stock many of the large and exclusive sets one normally only finds at LEGO brand stores or online. In pandemic times LEGO exclusives have frequently been out of stock online, so End Zone has proved to be a worthwhile stop for finding what I was seeking. Not always, but regularly. It's unfortunate that one doesn't earn any of the gifts-with-purchase or other loyalty rewards that LEGO offers for purchases through their brand & online stores--which tempers some of my purchases here--but at least End Zone prices their sets at MSRP. Retired set availability can vary widely of course. And End Zone doesn't carry any of the Build-A-Minifigure kiosk exclusives. But at least they are not like the Teton Toys store at Farmington Station who price their LEGO retail stock far above MSRP. read more

I've come in here maybe 12-15 times mainly because they have a really good selection. However the staff here is the worst. I think out of the few times I've been in I have only been greeted once and usually had to stop someone from either messing with their personal cards to ask for an unlock of the MTG deck case, or wait to check out cause 3 employees are huddled together geeking out over some new stuff that got released. Yes I want to come to a card shop that has staff who love this stuff and are genuinely excited about it, but I honestly feel like I am an inconvenience to them and my business isn't wanted here. Today was the last straw for me, I came in and decided to see how long it would take for someone to help me. I stood at the locked glass case where the MTG decks were, standing 10 feet from an employee reading a magazine, and nothing. I waited for almost 10 minutes and left cause it confirmed what I always thought, end zone doesn't want my business. So instead I went and spent $200 ish somewhere else buying the 4 decks from the LotR set. Probably a drop in the bucket for them so I'm not going to act like they will fail from me taking my business elsewhere, but I do want end zone to know that I'm not coming back and it's all due to the staff repeatedly ignoring me. read more

Would give 10 stars if I could. This place is freaking AMAZING . Has everything from Legos galore, comic books, nearly any board game you can think of, miniatures, paints, and much much more. I'll debunk the myth I had in my head about game stores like this: you don't have to be a super nerd or on the geek squad to go here. (I always thought it was just for comic book people, I sincerely apologize to anyone who loves comics, including my husband and lots of our mutual friends.) The employees are great, always very helpful and insightful. We tend to ask lots of questions about preferences and "what's the best version?" Or "what would you pick out of ABC?" They know what they're talking about!! In their west store (door in the left) they have aisles and aisles of the board games, shelves of comics, rows and rows of legos, pristine collectibles, etc. They have Side Show and Hot Toys figurines for many comic figures, sport celebrity collectibles and autographs, cardboard cutouts, and literally sooooo much more. P.S. their Lego supply is huge. In their east store (door on the right) they have miniatures for many of the popular games; Warhammer, Star Wars Legion, SW Armada, SW X-wing, Lord of the Rings, Marvel, and honestly so much I can't remember at the moment. They also have paints, paint supplies, and terrain options. I'm sure they have game nights every night - tables and stools are set up throughout this part of the store. The two are t connected, but it's a place for old and young. So fun. We've spent a lot of time here and visit frequently even when we didn't live in Davis County. read more

We've been going to End Zone for years. Comics, puzzles, games, collectibles, there's no place that compares. The owners and staff are the greatest. They know where everything is, and if you've ever been in the store, that's really saying something. If you have a question on ANY game no matter how popular or how obscure, SOMEBODY there will have everything you need to know about it filed away in their head. For the many purchases that we've made over the years, their prices have always matched up favorably with even online sellers. This place was awesome! I heard about it from a friend and was super impressed by their assortment of legos. Really fun place!

I don't have much to compare it to, but I would think this is the pinnacle of comic book and hobby stores. Entering the store, I was met with some geeky jargon that I totally didn't understand (meant with all the love possible). I wanted some comics for the minion and in this monster store, the clerk was extremely friendly and pointed me to the comics for the wee-ones. After securing a few Spiderman and Batman specials, I wandered around and was completely in awe of some stuff. You can let your Comic Con Freak Flag fly in this store. Really. Every kind of collector item, figurine, comic, trading card... you name it they have it. The place is organized a little weird for someone not in to the lifestyle but I managed to get around. There are also some memorabilia cabinets with autographed sports items but I don't think that is even in the top 10 reasons to come here. A huge selection of board games is here, too, and that was impressive. I can't wait to bring the minion in here and turn him loose. There are a lot of hobbies that he could get in to and I approve of all of them in this store. read more

They're the best game store I've ever been inside. And if you want board games, you won't find a larger selection anywhere in Utah.

Way too overpriced for cards. I would save your money and go to game grid or gamers asylum instead. Not worth the price since they go way over MSPR for cards still in print and just barely released. read more

Little bit of a strange atmosphere but so fun to look around. They have so many games, toys and comics that i could be there all day.

The young ladies running the place when we were there seemed to really know what they were doing, and the selection was pretty amazing. Bonus points for having a pretty obscure game in stock. read more

Super bummed. Came from the whole other part of town to see if they had any of the new StarWars legos and you guys did! Out on display and everything! Right when I walk in and started looking some nice guy even showed me to them. But some lady said I couldn't buy any because "they were under staffed and unpacking them." Big disappointment because I was ready to spend 700$+. read more

While they do have a great selection of games, I don't go there much. I was happy going until I started feeling annoyed when waiting for help on the hobby side. I can't read the labels on the packaging and it seems like a choir to help me see what's in stock. I'm more likely to buy game pieces when it's not like pulling teeth to get help. read more

Selection: The selection offered is quite extensive and varied. Hobbyists should find about anything they want or need. Games, cards, collectibles, action figures, etc. Pricing: Seems moderate and fair. Obviously, they cannot compete with chain stores, but chain stores also don't carry much of the same selection this shop has. Personnel: The staff is friendly, but they take no ownership of their store and are terrible at opening on time, very disorganized, and have very limited knowledge of what is happening around them. Environment: Horrible. The store is unclean and it smells terrible. I realize some of the problem lies in some of the people that regularly visit the shop, but there is no excuse for the disgusting state I found the store in when I visited. Bottom Line: Unless you can hack the odor and the general uncleanliness, you are better off trying to find the things you want elsewhere. read more

This is incredibly misnamed and does not appear to have a whole lot of actual hobby stuff...the store is extensive and there is a ton of inventory and I might have (probably) missed something, but this is more of a (in order by quantity): table game/collectible/comic book store. I don't know if this has every board game that ever existed, but it definitely seems like it. Layout is kind of funky, though, as all of the aisles are not interconnected, leading to a sort of maze effect and a ton of backtracking. I was inordinately pleased to see the statues and action figures, as well as a very, very healthy amount of comic books. Prices are also reasonable. What I didn't see, oddly enough, besides the hobby thing, is any space to place games. Possibly, it was next door, though, as I think there's a card location that maybe has some floor space for that. There was a lot to go through and I didn't have a corresponding lot of time, but this will definitely bear further investigation in the figure...for now, definitely color me impressed. read more

This shop is insanely huge. It very may be easily one of the top 5 largest hobby stores in the west. The staff who work this store are very nice and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
