Much like the prequel series of Star Wars. This shop has only gotten better with age.

NUMBSKULL Video Games & Electronics Repair

What a cool find! I live down south, and although this is quite a drive, I've always had…read moresatisfaction on my visits. They have a large and wide range of retro options all the way to latest generation consoles and game selections. A good chunk of their catalog rotates fairly often and some rare finds make their way around the shelves too. They also provide disk resurfacing services. I've brought up all my GameCube Games over the last year or so and they're so helpful and quick! And in the event that a disc is too damaged, they'll show you exactly what is happening and still let you choose whether or not you want to proceed. The transparency here is extremely appreciated. Something as simple as me wanting to know more about how they fixed another customer's PS5 HDMI port and they showed me everything I needed to know and also gave me tips and tricks for if I ever needed to do it myself. Overall, this place is very welcoming, and I've never had a bad experience thus far. If you are looking to expand your collection, check this place out!

I got my PS5 back only to find out, they cleaned it but told me it still won't work, and then I plugged it in to get my movie out and found out they stole the movie and never gave it back to me, so now I have an empty case, I lost 60 dollars for nothing, and they stole my movie. I'm pretty sure that whatever was in the PS5 was supposed to come back WITH my PS5.

The ungraded higher end books, however, were sort of scattered about the store, on various walls, or even stacked (unstoppable) in a glass case. The back room ha 25 or so long boxes to look through. A note on the prices of the raw books: WAY over market. I mean, astronomically so. Prime example, Daredevil #181 in NM is a $5-15 book all day. This store had it at $55. That's just one example. I've never Said to a store owner/employee "how on earth are you pricing these?!" But I did today. The owners wife? Was super sweet though, and took my complaining in stride. I bought all of two comics unfortunately, but I was looking to spend far far more. I would come back, if only to score a nice CGC book or three.

There is also a solid selection of action figures, including some older ones, so worth a look in that respect. Prices are also excellent, which gives it the push I was thinking from 3.5 stars, but this would be something I'd look into only occasionally, as it's debatable how worth the fight to get in during the limited hours is. For me, this will be something I'll check in maybe 2 or 3 times a year...

I guess they couldn't get the case open, so now I gotta come back another day to try and get it and I don't think it's worth the hassle. The employee was very insistent on me buying the console today which was a little off-putting. It felt more like the guy that came in only cared about making money which didn't really sit right with me. I get it's a business but he didn't really act professional. The guy who helped me at the register was nice though. Lastly, most of their product is VERY overpriced with a few exceptions.

When you live in Hawaii and travel to the mainland or abroad, bringing gifts back upon your return…read moreis a must. Sweet treats (like cookies or chocolates) or savory snacks (like nuts) are typical gifts for friends and family. My daughters, however, usually request Pokemon plushes/stuffed dolls that they don't already have and/or may be very hard to find back home. So when I visited Utah recently to attend my oldest daughter's wedding, my honey-do-list included a trip to Gamestop to search for the requested Pokemon. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything new or different. Rooster's, on the other hand, had no less than 6 Pokemon that neither girl had. When I called the Mrs for confirmation, the word I got was, "They want this one, and that one, and how about that one, too." The staff was fantastic. The prices very reasonable for rarer Pokemon dolls. Thanks again Rooster's!!!

I have shopped at End Zone for about 16 years as a well-stocked store for German-style board games…read more There was a time that if you told them what games you liked best, they would recommend a purchase to you with a money-back guarantee that you'd love it. The few times I tried it their recommendation was worth the purchase. Now with almost 500 games in my collection and using BoardGameGeek for most game news, reviews and players' community, I only stop in for board games occasionally if they happen to have something new on hand for as fair a price as anywhere--sometimes works out, sometimes not. Today the stock on hand in the Clearfield store is quite impressive--less so in Bountiful. Indeed the 10% off MSRP prices are less common now than they once were yet I still recommend End Zone for its generally reliable effort to put some 'friendly' into the Friendly Local Game Store shopping experience. That said, if the small staff are tied up chatting with anyone else, the huge amount of stock can be challenging to navigate and find what you're searching for among the stuffed and cluttered shelves. I stop in End Zone more often now for the large LEGO store that now occupies half of the former retail space -- with the DnD and collectible miniatures/card games that one were there having expanded to the retail space next door. Their business has grown a lot! As a frequent LEGO buyer I find End Zone is an awesome store for adult fans and kids. As a 'gold' account member they get to stock many of the large and exclusive sets one normally only finds at LEGO brand stores or online. In pandemic times LEGO exclusives have frequently been out of stock online, so End Zone has proved to be a worthwhile stop for finding what I was seeking. Not always, but regularly. It's unfortunate that one doesn't earn any of the gifts-with-purchase or other loyalty rewards that LEGO offers for purchases through their brand & online stores--which tempers some of my purchases here--but at least End Zone prices their sets at MSRP. Retired set availability can vary widely of course. And End Zone doesn't carry any of the Build-A-Minifigure kiosk exclusives. But at least they are not like the Teton Toys store at Farmington Station who price their LEGO retail stock far above MSRP.
