I walked in to one customer and one employee, the employee off the bat looked visibly annoyed by my presence but given the fact he was sorting through things, and I'm also sure that he has a lot of people like this come in without much knowledge about cards in general, knowing this I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt, but then I gave him my cards to look through and I didn't expect much at all and if not I would've just given him the cards and left but he just had his attitude and annoyance that overtook it seemed, he told me he would just give these cards to kids. I tried stacking them all nicely to not make is such a hassle for them to look thru before leaving my home and all I could find was this Velcro wrapping on the floor before leaving in a rush, he later made an observation about it jokingly saying "it was interesting". It was actually a bit funny but I'm not really sure why he'd say that. At the end of it he just tossed my stuff on the counter didn't say anything to me, and talked to the other customer as the customer was asking a question but no thank you or have a nice day. Just overall a very awkward and bad first impression

I have preorderd products from them (including hard-to-get items like Cursed City) and have had no problems whatsoever getting what I need. Their paint racks are always stocked. Their Warhammer model selection is hit and miss--I mean, they have a LOT, but there's just so many products that there's no way they can carry all of it. That same day, the price of that card went up due to it being unbanned. After my completed credit card sale, they sent me an email saying they were refunding my money because they did "not have this item due to an inventory discrepancy". What a load of BS. For me, a store's reputation is built on them standing by their product and prices. In this case, if you're caught with a card for sale on TCG that went up in price and someone buys it at that price, then you stand behind the completed sale. A store's reputation and integrity should be worth more than $20. Apparently for Game Grid, theirs is not. And by some off-chance that there was an "inventory discrepancy", then that just makes them incompetent and misleading with their inventory, and I wouldn't want to buy from a company like that either. Avoid Game Grid of Layton Utah. There a plenty of other online options on TCG alone, not counting other stores like CardKingdom, Ebay and Amazon -- choose a reputable one, not Game Grid.

This is somewhat…read morenon-descript and organization seems to be something of an issue, but there is a collectible doll area, a Star Wars section (and plenty of related stuff in other areas as well), a Lego area, a more or less "science fiction-y" area, a car area, which is also where most of the Transformers, DC and Marvel stuff seems to also generally be located. I should back that right up. When I say "stuff" in the preceding passages, I mean specifically toys. "Stuff" is not a good word to use here, as this is a collectible shop in the more traditional sense, with posters and lunchboxes and various other non-toy items as well. As I said about EntertainMart in Ogden, this is the kind of place one could easily spend hours. Here it is probably more leaning towards enjoyment than necessity, but it is very easy to miss thing with the sort of haphazard way a lot of the goods are laid out. There is certainly quite a lot of inventory in a relatively small space, so that's probably not helping things, either, but a re-organization would be useful here. Definitely should be on your radar if you're on the toy collector side or if you're in the area and you have younger kids for whom you don't want to spend buckets of money for new toys. Appeal is probably somewhat limited outside of those two factions, though...
