You can actually get thoughtful, coherent answers to questions, unlike the big box stores where employees either hide in the break room or refuse to make eye contact with any customers, lest they be asked a question.

My husband and I stopped by this little plant shop today and we're blown away. There were so many…read morerare and awesome plants! My husband is a huge plant guy and he was in heaven. There was even a couch in one of the rooms so you could just sit and enjoy the plants. A lot of the plants are behind glass, but you're allowed to take them out to get a better look at them. They don't just have plants here. You can buy some awesome shirts and hoodies (they are so soft), earrings, pots, humidifiers, stickers, and more. They have some neat 3D printed pots as well. There's a really cool spot on the wall by the register where you can take a cutting and leave a cutting. It's such a neat concept, that we'd love to do that next time we stop by. The owner is such a nice and knowledgeable guy. He very approachable and answered all of our questions. I think my husband would definitely love to go back and chat about plants with him. All in all, this is a fantastic plant shop with an awesome owner and we will 100% return!

I have never seen a plant store like it and now I can't look at my local nursery's the same. You can tell that every single plant in there was hand propagated, grown and cared for. This place is pretty legit and has a great selection of just about everything. On this trip I was looking for tools to cut wavy lines in blocks of cheese and special forks to dip chicken in sauce. Go ahead... try and figure out that combo. Guess what?? They had EXACTLY what I needed even though I don't think any of the items I bought were made for what I am using them for. So while I was there I noticed there are some focus areas here. There were about a billion cookie cutter molds and a LOT of baking and decorating supplies. I don't bake so this was mostly shiny stuff to look at and wish someone would bake for me. They also have a lot of container type stuff and a little bit of everything else. We had a completely opposite experience there and were shocked at the comparison of how bad this one was. Don't come here. It's great to talk to someone who actually KNOWS something about paint, and to not have to deal with all the big box crappiness and quality control issues. I was totally sick of doing 3 coats of Behr and having adhesion problems, not to mention mistints from crappy Home Depot employees. Even better, it barely cost me more to get the better paint. The guy at SW recommended a good contractor-grade SW paint that ended up being $25/gal for me - 50% less than I was ready to pay for normal SW paint. He made this suggestion without my prompting - which really impressed me. He could have done the easy thing and let me waste my money, but he went out of his way to tell me about an unadvertised paint and save me $200. I was hesitant about it being contractor grade, but he said in a flat it would work great - and he was right. That's why it's worth it to go to an actual paint store - people who know what the heck they're talking about!

Case in point, a box of cookies had the sell-by date of April 2020 (I didn't notice until I spit out the first stale bite and looked). Next time I was in the store, I grabbed two boxes and took them to the service counter and they said they'd make sure they were pulled. Two weeks later, there are still 16 boxes on the shelf. Milk is routinely past date, as is cheese. If they are this careless about things that can be checked, how can I be sure they are handling perishable foods and getting them refrigerated promptly?! I won't shop here again and I hope the Board of Health does a surprise visit.
