The customer service person became flustered and rude over a minor issue with the card reader (tap didn't work, needed to insert and use pin). read more

I've had two very disappointing experiences at this UPS Store, both involving the same person, Haleh, who I believe is the owner. The first time I visited, I was unfamiliar with the return process and had not packaged my Amazon return properly. Instead of calmly explaining what I needed to do, she raised her voice and was visibly irritated -- a completely unnecessary reaction for a customer service role. On my second visit, I waited patiently in line for several minutes, only to be skipped over so she could assist a man who arrived after me. When I politely pointed this out, she mocked me, in a language other than english, to her co-worker, which was both unprofessional and disrespectful. There are plenty of other UPS locations where the owners and staff treat customers with basic courtesy. I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend it to others. read more

Beware of predatory pricing. UPS quoted me their "cheapest" method of shipping a small package to Australia was more than $380. I went down the road to the Canadian Post. Their cheapest price was $36. I went with the $102 option because I wanted tracking (which would have come with UPS). read more

Haleh stole money from my credit card and "accidentally" added charges to my credit card. Do not trust them. If you have your credit card with them - be very careful and watch out for "hidden" and deceptive fees. read more

UPS did not update their website as to whether my delivery was out for delivery or not. I waited at home all day and at about 4:30 I went out for 1/2 hr and they showed up. They left a message that I owed money and they did not say which store the package was at only twice writing on the tag that I had to give them money. This company is useless read more

Haleh is an excellent customer service rep. She helps with all her heart and provides clients with advice in their best interest. She is friendly, smiling all the time, and very knowledgeable, definitely will go back; the place is super organized and clean. read more

First, I would like to point out that the single positive review came from someone who has given 5 stars on 27/29 reviews... I have to echo the previous poor reviews. If I could give zero stars, I would. I have had to pick up at this location numerous times in the past two years because the UPS driver who services my area is too lazy to buzz me, which is eternally frustrating when I stay home all day to receive my delivery. That aside, as it doesn't have anything to do with the store... when I have attended the store I am usually treated with distain and shortness, but I am still pleasant and pick up my package generally without incident. Today was a new experience altogether. I checked the status of my shipment this afternoon as my delivery was supposed to arrive today and hadn't yet, and per UPS' tracking, my package had been delivered and signed for.... by Haleh, the woman who owns the pick-up location closest to me. Sat at home all day in the damn heat and once again the driver couldn't bother to buzz me. I called UPS and asked them to clarify what happened... I was told my package (which I ordered to be delivered precisely because it was likely going to be heavy and more than I could manage on my own) was at the pick-up location and that I could pick it up today before 6:30pm when they closed. I went to do so around 3pm, showed her my tracking number and where it said the package was at the pick-up location, and she gave a half-assed look around (10 seconds perhaps) and then practically threw my phone back at me and aggressively told me it was still on the truck if it was to be delivered today, and essentially dismissed me and told me to talk to the driver, who had happened to have just come into the store... he too brushed me off and blamed it on someone else. In a nutshell, where the hell is my package? I then called UPS again, and after half an hour on the phone and the person I was speaking with telling me there was no answer at the pick-up location, they asked me to put her on the phone (I called from outside the store). She refused to talk to UPS, shouted at me, finally took the phone and then proceeded to yell at the person on the phone about how none of it was her fault, it was some delivery person's fault. Then tossed the phone back to me. I am absolutely flabbergasted at the atrocious treatment I received from simply doing what I was told - to go pick up my package because, as usual, the delivery driver couldn't be bothered to buzz me. Obviously this woman has some issues in her life, because her behaviour is NOT normal, let alone for someone who works in customer service (AFIK she is the owner, not staff), but I am not remotely interested in being someone's punching bag for whatever reason that suits her on whatever day. I will never again order anything online that is delivered by UPS. Don't even get me started on the shit I had to deal with in the 2+ hours I spent on the phone over two days trying to get it sorted on the customer service end. Promise after promise after promise, and never fulfilled. The company is shit and couldn't care less about actually following through on anything. read more

I went to this UPS store once and will NEVER EVER do that again. The so called "lady" at the store was so rude, unfriendly and unprofessional that I seriously thought she was mentally ill. I asked her for some of tape for my open package - she screamed that we don't provide free tape. I said I was willing to pay for it. Then she gave me a small piece of tape (maybe 6") and charged me $2.50 for it. UPS should really be ashamed of these scumbags so called "franchisors". read more

The staff are great friendly and super knowledgable will definitely be back. Great spot for when you need a box and do not have anything lying around and need to send something back to Amazon. Also love how I can walk to it super convenient. read more

Quite possibly the worst service I have ever received anywhere in my life. I try to avoid confrontation but I wish I had called the woman working at the store out. After handing her my package I was told "bye. Leave" before I could even get a word out. Pretty sure after she threw my package on the floor something inside broke, but to be honest if it even gets to it's destination that's probably a win with this clown. Genuinely believe any review over one star left is due to mixing up the location with another UPS. Embarrassing service, hard to believe these people get paid when they can't do their job even remotely adequately. The Canada Post two minutes up the street is a much better bet than this joke read more

I handed my blue cross claim form in an envelope for mailing. They never got it and it was the original receipt. Very disturbing. I have never had mail lost before. I believe she took the stamp and put my letter in the garbage. Also she was rude. read more

I had to visit this this place several time to ship or get packages but I would avoid it if I could. Owner and worker can be rude to others (it's not predictable what mood they will be in). It seems like they only want to get money and be over it. Sometimes they do not use enough supplies for fragile shipments even though they charge you for it. For example I saw them pack an electronic device with just one very thin layer of bubble wrap and they didn't ask the customer if he wants more. Everything depends on their mood and their personal lives I believe! read more

Painful. Service is slow and painful. Takes way too long to get a package wrapped and ready for delivery. Stay away from this location. Have UPS come to your office. Its MUCH MUCH faster. read more

New owner has not improved things. It is painfully slow and she can't find items SHE has received. Yells at her employees. I ship using Purolator now. Avoid this place. Not worth the pain. read more

Went here today and walking in there was what I would assume 2 people working there. A lady helping a couple with a box, and there was someone else in front of me. The guy behind the desk was playing on his phone with his mask pulled down not acknowledging anyone, maybe not be behind the desk if your not working. The guy in front of me handed her his UPS sticky note and she immediately tells him his package is not there, seemingly not wanting to help him any further then that, surprised I got my package out of them. Seems I always have to go here for USP deliveries and I wish I had another option or place to pick my stuff up. read more

I spoke with Haleh regarding working on future projects and was blown away by her excellent communication skills and professionalism. I highly recommend using their services! read more

I have had a mailbox here for 12 years, the current owners are the third in this time, and sadly the service has not kept up. Another name was put on my account (by mistake) and parcels that were sent were kept without notification and finally turned up after several week,s when asked why the owner became surly and argumentative Needless to say I now have another account. Hopefully with time the competence and customer will improve. read more

If it was possible to leave Zero stars I would. I have just left this store and can only tell you that you should NEVER use this store. I have left a message with UPS Canada about the owner - Hanef and her behaviour towards me today. I had a package to return to the States and she was convinced that I did not have the documentation supplied to me. I had followed the directions exactly from the company for return (and had no problem sending it from another UPS store on the same day!) . Anyhow, I am a primary English speaker born in Canada - she decided that yelling at me and then speaking V-E-R-Y S-L-O-W-L-Y was great customer service. She then refused to help me when I informed her that English is my first language, shoving the box back at me. I will definitely be following up with the main company back east tomorrow when they are open. This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere. read more

The new owner and her staff are wonderful to deal with. I've been a customer for almost 2 years now, and seen some great improvements to the store. Box rentals are a great idea - it's secure way to receive parcels from ALL shipping companies while you're at work (unlike Canada Post PO boxes which only receive Canada Post mail). You get email notifications when you have a parcel to pickup, and pickup is safe and secure. You can also get a key to the outside door to check your postal mail box after hours. Highly recommended. read more

What part of "leave it at the door" do these monkeys not understand? I SPECIFICALLY checked off that option when I ordered. I've been without a phone for days and now have to wait one more day. The moron didn't even knock (there was someone home). Now I have to go get the package. I had no choice, but I assure you I will NEVER use UPS at home or work. I shall try to restrain myself, but there will be a complaint. read more

Absolutely has changed for the worst with this new woman owner. She let go the previous people who worked there. They were fabulous. Tried her son out. He had no clue about this business. The packages are in a mess. She has lost a package sent to me. Tracking said it was delivered there. This place is so unorganized. She is totally over whelmed with this business. I have seen her talk to customers like they were stupid and beneath her. She is in the wrong business. UPS management should be ashamed to have their name associated with this store. read more

In my whole life I haven't seen anything like this. UPS should be ashamed of the fact that this horrendous woman operates their business. Unbelievalble. We paid almost $10 for 10 colorful copies, she charged us $1.50 extra just because we sent her what she was supposed to print. Apparently it costs $1.50 for her to click to the print button. Fees are also almost doubled in a comparison with other UPS's. Her name is Haleh or Hanef or something, she treated us like shit. I am never going to this place again, I don't think anyone should. Once again Yelp, give us the option to rate a place 0 star, because 1 is too much for this place. read more

I dread when my packages come through UPS. This location is always disorganized the customer service is terrible.

Unfriendly and unhelpful manager. Poor example to the nice enough clerk that tried to help me.

I am terribly sad that the UPS location on Marine drive in North vancouver has closed. My deliveries have since been picked up from the lonsdale location. It is very 50/50, depending on who serves you at this location. The woman is a complete bitch. I believe Haleh is her name. Once, I had showed up with the slip for my parcel, she did a half hearted look around the store for it and declared that it was not at their location, despite online tracking and email notifications as well as my possession of a mail delivered notification showing that it was at the location. She was also very rude, and my demeanour eventually changed to match hers, although I was still able to keep from losing it completely. Her partner, a very nice man, eventually found it, not in the back mail room, but rather amidst a pile of messy boxes next to one of the desks behind the counter. Worst customer experience every. The woman should be fired. Fucking bitch. I hope to never have to deal with UPS if I am to expect such lousy and horrific service from their centres. read more
