They need to realize that when customers are in a rush--and tell them so--they need to step on it. When they make mistakes, just move on and get the job done. With more experience, I expect this store will be reach the standards of the former owners. One annoying thing, though; they charge you by the minute for the computer plus charge you to print out materials. Seems like double billing . . .

Returned to Post Office around 3:45 and was reunited with my bag which had an iPad, Id's, Ccards and a fair ammount of 2 currencies. I was never rude like he would say (I am also from France, so maybe cultural barrier) , I just was so confused why there was no wifi so I had to go across the street to get wifi and then send something to the printing computer. Something printed incorrectly and I told him not to charge me for the misprinted item. He goes and says he needs to charge me. I agreed to just pay because whatever. I go and mumble literally "so dumb, whatever" under my breath cause I personally as a business owner would had grace for that situation if something went wrong with the printing service. BUT: 1) Payment method - they really need to expand their payment options beyond just credit card payments to purchase a minimum $10 credit. I stopped using credit cards years ago. If I can pay for things by e-transfer or PayPal online, Chit Chats is really turning their back on getting more business. Instead, I resort to buying. Prepaid credit card just to use this service, with additional fees from the card every time. I sent an email asking them to please consider other payment methods for customer convenience, and I got an email back explaining that they only accept credit card payments ... totally missing the point. Yes, I know you only accept credit card payments, that's WHY I'm asking you to please consider other payment methods. How hard would it really be to have a card reader on site that takes debit? Then I can top up my balance when I drop off parcels for delivery. E-transfer or PayPal online, if not cash or debit on site. Makes more sense than a $5 fee for every $50, 100, 250 prepaid credit card I have to purchase first. 2) it's only insured if it arrive on time. Be aware of this gem from their website: "Since delivery estimates are not guaranteed, shipments that have exceeded the expected transit time are not covered by Chit Chats Insurance.", so the insurance is useless if shipping is delayed? Not much incentive to deliver on time, now, is there? After years of covid-related supply chain issues, what good is this "insurance" policy? Is that why my last shipment sat in Richmond for 3 days before leaving the Vancouver area? 3) Not always open til 7: Also: if business hours are listed as closing at 7pm, please allow me to arrive by 7pm with my packages. Numerous times, I get there at, say, 6:54 to find the place is locked up early and no one around. 4) Label printer compatibility: I can not get my iDPRT SP410 label printer to sync up with chit chats orders or the printer software download at all. The online setup video is vague and even difficult to read text on the screen. I just download the label image, resize it on my phone to 4"x6" and then print that. None of the setup options include my printer, so expect to do some trial & error testing if you run into issues with printing or formatting.

WORKER WANTED TO FIGHT ME!…read more Came in on Oct.8.25 to ship a small package but almost turned in a fight when I asked the middle aged Indian worker/heavyweight boxer for details about filling out the form. I wanted to know why and what the form was, to which he started raising the volume of his tone, saying, "YOU HAVE TO DO IT, YOU HAVE TO!!!" sounding very grumpy and demanding, questioning me about what's inside the package, to which I said (electronics). He then got impatient and hostile, making 2 more customers uncomfortable. I then said - "Sir can you calm down?" To which he said - "GET THE F*CK OUTTA MY STORE!!!" coming around the counter, getting in my face ready to fight me. I then got my phone out and started recording him, to which he felt uncomfortable knowing he was being filmed, so unfortunately I didn't get him on video when he got ready to box me. I was going to call 911 but didn't since he realized he's on video just days away from going viral on TikTok, so he started to control himself. But it doesn't stop there.... He starts to mock, making silly faces at me, and said - "ARE YOU SENDING DRUGS?" which you can hear in the video. I've seen him before at the store, and he's very rude and aggressive to his customers, but on this occasion he overboiled and will probably skip Thanksgiving Day this year. Never had a problem with UPS, but they need to do a better job when hiring people. Workers like this can affect the company's rep and lose customers. My review wont stop here, Im also making a YouTube video telling people to stay away from here, so stay tuned folks! With CP, all shipping documents are prepared by the customer and status of the shipment must be checked by the customer. And, last time, the CP guaranteed delivery date was missed by 4 days. Yesterday, I FedExed documents at the Packaging Depot. Packaging Depot staff were welcoming and friendly and prepared all the shipping documents. FedEx emailed me every time the status of the shipment changed. In the future, I will always use Packaging Depot and FedEx for my courier shipments.

It's a small shop but they have full mailing and posting services including boxes and packing materials and envelopes. A full-size copier, too. Mailboxes. Printing services. The gent who helped me was very kind. I did buy the mailing tube from him, but I also got some rubbish cardboard to hold a flat print safe in my backpack. Sharp scissors let me cut the cardboard to fit. Super helpful!
