The manager Unnati Patel, is a liar and a scammer. I worked for this store back in April-May for only a few weeks. The first three weeks of working I did not get paid. When I brought this to the manager's attention she said that the internet was down and I should see my check in the next 1-2 days. I did not see my check until the following weekend which made it three weeks and a few days that I did not get paid. I had a family emergency and asked the manager if I could step outside to make a phone call which she allowed me to do. When I came back inside she asked me if everything was okay which I told her yes just family emergency. She then asked me if I needed to leave early or take the rest of the week off. I told her no but she proceeded to pressure me into leaving so I took the rest of that day off which was 2 hours left of my shift. Before leaving she asked me my size for my uniform and said she would give me a call. The next day came and I did not get a call but I noticed I was removed from the schedule. I reached out to the manager to make sure things were okay and to let her know what was going on the day that I left early. She gave me a call and said that she was going out of town and needed someone with more experience to watch the store while she was gone. I said okay and went to the store the following day to grab my umbrella that I left and saw that she was still there although she told me she was leaving to go out of town which is why I was removed from the schedule that week.. Another week goes by and I am still not on the schedule, and now no longer have any access to the app used to clock in and see my schedule. When I brought this to the manager's attention she then fired me.. Unnati Patel lied to me and said she was leaving which is why I was not scheduled but in reality I was just laid off without given any reason... Not to mention during my training I was taught to lie to the customers to get them to spend more. The manager advises if the customer looks like they may be wealthy or well off, to lie to them and not give them any low prices so the store can profit from them. Although I did not agree with this morally, I did what I was told and was advised by the manager that I was learning fast and doing well. Being told this on top of being asked my size for the uniform, I assumed things were going well. I would not recommend anyone to work here, you do not get a break to eat, I took my break to eat whenever one of the employees or manager randomly decides I can take one. I was also asked to give one of the employees Sat a ride several times, unpaid. This store not only scams its customers, my experience working here felt like I was treated unfairly and I was never given a reason why. read more

Went in to buy stamps. I had called first and asked if they sold stamps. When we were handed what they called a roll which was actually a sheet of 20 stamps I asked are these the same price as the post office. They said yes. They charged us .9995$/stamp. The post office charges .73$/stamp -when I asked for my money back they could not explain why I was charged more and said they don't mark up the price. I believe there is a language barrier here. The woman was rude and interrupted us when we questioned the price despite having asked is this the same as the post office. Why would you want to pay more ? Then As we left said have a blessed day. I came to drop a package off yesterday and I stopped at FedEx first to get a box. They charged me $3.49 for the box. I came to UPS - dropped the box and left. Today, I needed to drop another package with the same dimensions and with the same cashier but decided to purchase the box here instead of stopping at FedEx first. The cashier rang me up $5.00 plus $1 to "pack the box". It was literally a shoebox. I asked him why was it $5? It shows as "miscellaneous taxable" which means he chose the price to charge me on the receipt and he said "this is why we tell clients bring their own boxes. The prices of boxes are going up" moral of the story: go to FedEx. At UPS they don't want to provide the service the business clearly advertises for and if they do sell you a box they're going to tax you and complain that they have to provide a box. read more

Just popped in here yesterday to get a document notarized and to mail it out. The three gentlemen working greeted my husband and I pleasantly. No one else was there, and only one other person came through while we were inside. I had set an appointment online for 230pm to get notary services. Everything was super quick and painless. The gentleman helping us notarized everything in seconds at the counter. For the one document it was only $3, so I was very pleased. Not sure how much other places charge, but I know it can vary, so I was happy it wasn't much. I like the location on Lawrenceville Highway by Lilburn Walmart also that I went to once for fingerprinting, however, I like that this UPS is much quicker to get in and out of instead of getting stuck in really bad traffic out the other way. I would highly recommend this location if you need something notarized or to mail something out in this area. I'll be back. read more

I used to use this UPS store for years--LOVED it when John and his boss (whose name I could never remember) worked there! GREAT prompt courteous service! Used them for many, many years. THEN THEY BOTH RETIRED. And sold the store to its current owners. I tried it twice--and never will again. 1. No one there speaks English--and they act insulted when an English-speaking customer and they cannot understand one another. If I chose to open a store in France--I'd learn French! 2. The 'customer service' is non-existent and awful. Unlike before under the store's past ownership, these people ignore walk-in customers even when NO one else is there! They are rude when they 'do' finally acknowledge your presence. 3. They are incompetent--I tried ONCE to mail a package from there after the new management took over--I saw them handle it carelessly and then when it arrived to my son in another state it was not only late but broken. Normally I have had no problems in the past with the very few times I've ever had an item damaged in shipping--the manager/owner got UPS to investigate it and usually the claim was paid very quickly. These people pushed-back against making a claim for me, so the value of that item was simply lost. Another time, I came in to have them run thru a simple FAX--they tried several times, but then finally told me there was something wrong with the phone number I had. I told them that couldn't be--it was an official Gwinnett County Government # and even looked it up for them while I was there--but they still said it was MY fault because the number wasn't right. I went across the street to Fed-Ex--they ran the fax through THE FIRST TIME. I suspect these guys don't even know how to properly run a fax machine, or that they have defective equipment but instead of looking into fixing the equipment they blame their customer. That was when I said, "I've had it" and found a new UPS store to use. While the store I use now is further away, they give wonderful service. UPS--THESE PEOPLE ARE GIVING YOUR COMPANY A BAD NAME. I really felt my experience was smooth and seamless. Although I was clearly an employee from a competing company, Fedex, they still provided great customer service and hospitality. Almost every time I come to this location there's a problem. I just left the store and the short elderly guy refused to take my package because it was in a used TEMU bag...which is the way I ALWAYS return TEMU merchandise. There's nowhere to complain about my package being delivered. I was sitting outside the driver sped up my driveway turned around and threw my package on the ground and sped away.. I was like are you serious I was right there. The fact that she was speeding in and out of my driveway at 3pm and then just threw my package on the floor??? So disappointed with the level of service at this store. Such rude behavior! No greeting or acknowledgement. Just pointed to spot where package should go. Took a phone call in the middle of my transaction and looked up a package delivery for person on phone. A simple "Hold for just a minute" would have been more appropriate. Handed me my receipt without a word or eye contact even though I thanked him with a smile. NO ONE IN THE STORE besides me! Over the years, been to this place many, many times for a range of different services, including having docs notarized. The employees are mature, knowledgeable, courteous and reasonably quick. So far, Ive never had a bad experience, and the convenient location has definitely saved me a lot of time. read more

The notary was very unprofessional and refused to service me bc I had a passport and not a state issued ID. A state issued ID is not needed to notarize a document and a passport is perfectly acceptable. I even had a copy of my lease and mail. I went to the bank instead and had no issues with the same document and credentials, but as result missed my appt to hand in said documents. I just moved to GA and needed a doc notarized for my daughters middle school. I would suggest finding another store if you're looking for professionals. read more

The best UPS store I've been to. I went in to drop off a shipment and to also print out my resume on resume paper. Vinod and John were the friendliest people and were very quick in helping me. The store itself is very clean and well laid out. It is situated in a renovated shopping center with other great food places and stores.
