Never had a problem there. Been returning Amazon stuff for years. No problem! Always greeted just fine by the workers.

Great staff and great service. We are always amazed at how fast they are able to make the print-work that we need for our small business.

I work for the government and recently got a promotion that required a change in security clearance…read more*humble brag* Part of the process for getting that clearance involved fingerprints. Guess what, you can get your fingerprints done at certain UPS locations. I chose the Springfield location over the Haverford because, honestly, Chik-Fil-A, not gon lie. They have a cauliflower sandwich that I wanted to try but that's irrelevant to the story. At the tip of the parking lot of a super quaint shopping plaza there was the UPS store, not to be confused with the USPS location also in this plaza on the opposite end. Strangely enough, it's next to an Omaha Steaks, which until that day, I thought was only online/catalogue, like SkyMall. Even more strange was people actually leaving Omaha Steaks with large brown shopping bags filled with what I can only assume were cuts of beef. Again, irrelevant. I entered into this superbly clean UPS location and walked passed the long wall of mailboxes and directly to the counter. A young man whose name tag read "RJ" greeted me with a smile and asked how he could help me. I told him I needed fingerprints done and he requested my ID and accompanying docs. We walked over to a kiosk where he scanned the docs, made a few entries on the screen, asked for my confirmation and then it was my turn to press my fingers. The first was practice (the key is to apply the appropriate amount of pressure. The next sets went over smoothly and RJ confirmed I was all set. I got my docs and and a confirmation sheet and was on my way. Entire process took about 10 minutes. I've had to go to a few different UPS stores in the last few weeks, generally to return some Amazon items. The transactions are always simple and straightforward and the counter person rarely has to say much. This time, I needed instruction and RJ was pleasant and knowledgeable. Remarkable really, so much so that I wrote a review for a store I may never have cause to return to. Unless the government wants to give me another promotion

Finally, a UPS store in my old stomping ground of Upper Darby. Previously I would have to either…read moredrive over to Wynnwood or Havertown to drop off packages but noooo more! I dropped off a package, got a receipt, and was out and about just like that. As the first review here I'm giving it 5 stars cause of the location and the quick service I just received. Only time will tell to see how this location does.

Employee #1 reluctant to provide rental agreement insists that it can only be provided when I sign up. I asked how I will know I want to setup a mailbox without reviewing the terms and conditions of the rental agreement first. Employee number #2 (Benjamin) instructs Employee #1 to create a dummy account in order for system to generate the rental agreement for me to review. Red Flag #1 - Hurdles to providing rental agreement for a customer to review. 2. Upon reviewing the rental agreement, I ask clarification about item #15 on the rental agreement which appear in all CAPS which states: a. "15. CUSTOMER HEREIN AGREES THAT THE TOTAL AMONT OF LIABILITY OF THE CENTER AND TUPSS, IF ANY, FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT OR PERFORMANCE HEREUNDER SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.00 REGARDLESS OF THE NATURE OF THE CLAIM. (INITIAL:___)" b. I asked a hypothetical question. If I were to buy a Apple Macbook valued at $3,000 have it mailed to the UPS Store. If I come to pick it up after being notified I have a package, and the store is not able to locate the laptop that was delivered to them. Will I be reimbursed for the cost of the laptop the UPS Store can't locate or went missing? i. Employee # 2 (Benjamin): Yes, we will reimburse for the laptop. ii. Me: But item #15 in your rental agreement says your liability is limited to just $100. What you are saying is at odds with your rental agreement. Are you going waive part 15 of Rental Agreement? iii. Benjamin: No I am not. Red Flag #2: Rental agreement at odds with what the UPS Store employee tells you. Employee #1: Approaches me. I hand him the rental agreement he had just given me and point to item #15 in rental agreement. He reads it and says that part is in error. Me: So are you going to follow up and fix the error? Benjamin: No we are not going to fix it. You have to call to fix it. Me: It is your contract. If it is error you need to fix in YOUR contract. It is not the customer's responsibility to fix your contract error. I ask for the rental agreement back from Employee #1. Employee #1 refuses to return the rental agreement, crumples it and tosses into the trash angrily. Benjamin looks on approvingly without saying a word at Employee #1's unprofessional behavior. Red Flag #3: Employee #1 and Benjamin refuses to let me keep a copy of the rental agreement. Wonder why? One of the reasons people get a mailbox is to know their mail and packages are kept safe and secure. In fact, you would be spending hundreds of dollars per year for even the smallest box but the UPS Store's liability in total is just $100 no matter what. Clause #15 and overall rudeness of the employees leaves for a bad experience. I would give negative stars if that was possible. BTW: I was able to get a copy of the agreement from another source even though Employee #1 refused to return the hard copy document I gave him to review section #15. Image attached of section #15 of rental agreement.

Female employee complained I had labels still on. I explained I was returning an unwanted package that should never have been delivered and they gave nothing but a QR code with no instructions. As mentioned I don't use QR codes so I have no idea what is required. Employee cut me off answering her questions. Very rude. Then oddly wished me happy holidays either because she didn't understand her rudeness, or maybe because she did. I don't need stress and attitude from random people throwing their personal misery at me throughout my day. Grow up and act like a dignified human being! Interesting that Amber T had a similar bad experience with a female employee.

I asked the…read moreemployee if she could please secure the large box further with tape as I noticed my tape loosened along the edge. She stated she could. She assisted me to the kiosk and showed me how to use. She also explained how to track (I didn't know how/never did before) so that was helpful. I left and was sitting in my car for a few minutes and noticed a fed ex truck pull up. The man had my package from inside and was about to put it on the truck. I noticed quickly that it was my box and that the whole side was never taped as the employee ensured would happen. I stepped out of the car and asked the gentleman if we could seal it and he said yes. I said do we need to bring it in and he said no I have tape and began to place some on the edge. I was very appreciative. On the contrary I was extremely disappointed in the employee who went against her word. I would have gladly bought some tape and sealed it better myself if they were unable to do so, but she stated she would, so I figured "okay great!". I don't understand why a person would tell a customer they will do something and then not do it. What's the point? Either say yes or no. The package is large and heavy and needed to be secure. It is expensive and if it doesn't get there safely, I suffer. I ask that employee: if you were in my shoes and this happened to you, how would you feel?
