Quite honestly the UPS store on Court St. Bklyn is horrible. The owner, shall we say, has issues. Dealing with him is not only unpleasant but he is quite ignorant when it comes to Amazon's return policies. There is often a long line in the store as the owner struggles to use the computer and scanner. The owner's unpleasantness and apparent incompetence affects the employees. There is an unusually high level of turnover which means that no employees are fully expert. The retail part of the operation is poor: most packing items overpriced and poorly displayed. Potential customers would be well served by going elsewhere. read more

I come here often to do Amazon returns and when the self serve kiosk work I love it but when I have to stand on line, I don't. I am absolutely disgusted with the service at the Nassau Street UPS Store. Around 5:30 PM, I received a call from a female employee regarding the apostille I had ordered. She spoke so softly that I could barely understand her, but I gathered it had to do with my package. I mentioned that it was a coincidence she called because I had just sent an email noting that the tracking information showed my package was delivered to her store. She then transferred me to another employee. The next woman who answered said abruptly, "UPS Store, let me put you on hold." I was left waiting for 13 minutes before a recording instructed me to email the store. I called back two more times, only to be placed on hold again for about 10 minutes before receiving the same automated message. After several more attempts, I reached nothing but the recording directing me to email. This isn't the first time I've had trouble with this store. Out of three calls in the past two weeks, only once was I able to speak to someone directly. I understand that the store may be busy, but this is unacceptable customer service. Leaving customers on hold for long periods, only to be routed to a recording, is both unprofessional and frustrating. I worked in customer service for 13 years, and I learned early on that you never put someone on hold unless you can get back to them promptly. During peak times, I would always answer, explain that we were busy, and offer to take a number and call them back. That is basic respect for a customer's time. Being ignored because the store is understaffed is not an excuse, it is poor management. I strongly recommend that this location hire additional part-time employees to handle peak hours. This is ridiculous. This store is in a downtown heavy trafficked area, with a long line of waiting customers. Its 1130-12p and tbey only have 1 person working the customer service line. All the while theres 2 other people in the back, one sitting at a desk and the other just aimlessly standing doing nothing. Its annoying. Do not under any circumstances use this place to have your packages delivered, especially if they are even the slightest bit important or time sensitive (what isn't?). I have used it for two years because I have had no other choice but consistently my packages are not checked in on time (this is through Anytime mailbox). I just received a package from three months ago that was never even checked in! Also I have received important papers like paychecks and 1099s weeks late. Extremely long lines. Completely disorganized. They don't clearly mark anything nor do they tell you what to do (or what they cannot do) until you wait on a 20 minute line. I had made a reservation for getting a passport photo and was told after waiting on said 20 minute line that they are out of film. So far, one star for UPS Store 4766. I sent a marriage certificate for the apostille service in June 2024 from Singapore. They acknowledged receipt and informed me that they would start processing on 5 July 2024. So far so good. Since then, however, I have had no communication and received no tracking number. Currently, I am extremely concerned as my numerous emails and attempts to contact them with the web form have simply gone unanswered for the last two weeks. The document is time-sensitive, and as an important document I just want to know do they have it and is it being processed? The response time was always quick up until 5 July, and I have no idea why they are being unresponsive now. If you are reading this review, UPS Store 4766, what the bloody hell is going on? This is extremely unprofessional and reflects very poorly on a business that holds itself to deal with important and time-sensitive legal documents. Absolutely do not go here to get a document translated/notarized or apostilled. The translator misspelled a major American city and then signed her name certifying she had reviewed it. This translation is useless to me. I needed this document for next steps in a process, but this blatant error had me fall behind in the steps and seek another translator. read more

I would not send my worst enemy into the store. I've been here 5 to 7 times and it is absolutely chaotic. The employees have no interest in working there or helping you. Packages and random boxes are piled on the floors to the ceiling with labels on them. It's unclear if things actually get shipped out on time and if you need to print a return label, forget about it. It's at least six dollars to use their computer for five minutes and print a label. Use the fedex store on William where the manager is a kind and helpful lady and the store is clean. read more

This store is a Bounce luggage storage location. I checked bags in when they opened today, a Sunday. The woman who took my luggage confirmed that I needed to pick them up by closing time at 4 pm. The store was locked when I arrived at 3:29 pm and did not reopen today. I currently have zero luggage and all of my bags are being held hostage until they open (hopefully on time) tomorrow morning. They aren't responding to voicemail, email, social media or calls from Bounce. Unreliable and unprofessional. I am beyond frustrated. read more

I attempted to get an important document notarized af 3:30pm. After waiting for 10 minutes in line, I'm eventually told that the notary is on break till 4:10pm. I couldn't wait because I had an appointment and since the store is open till 7:30, I assumed it would be okay. I come back at 5:10pm and I'm then rudely told the notary left for the day at 5:00pm. During the Covid 19 virus breakout I had to obtain a mailbox, I found out I needed to get something sent to me, it had to be post marked day of. After paying $279.81 and filling out all paperwork, I was told by the end of the day that a mailbox would be assigned. Now since there is a lockdown and foot traffic is minimal, I can't believer the store was very busy at least not busy enough to assign me a mailbox number. I called only to find out the girl who does that left for the day. She had my paperwork and money for 5 hours and I couldn't get a box number assigned. I'm not going to get mail delivered to a place where I get lied to, them to have some punk tell me I need to show respect. I showed respect with my $279.81, show me some respect and do what you say you're going to do, better yet, refund me my money. The day before I walked all the way to Wall Street because this UPS was close for the Holidays. That UPS store stated they don't have the Apple packaging. So I stopped by on a (10/07/15)Tuesday evening (Around 6PM) right after my internship. The staff was just simply AMAZING !! She was one person doing 3 people's work. She maintain claim and she handle everything very well. She told me that it was ridiculous that the previous UPS wasn't able to ship it all for me because they use the same packaging.
