Are you tired of the wait to drop off your package, return something like an Amazon package, or even ship something to your loved ones while dealing with bad vibes, slow service, cold shoulders, or being skipped in line feeling left unseen and unheard? Well, I've been to several ups stores and before I found this little giant gem right next to East Los Angeles community college, dropping off packages just didn't feel the same anymore in the best way possible! But better yet I will simply say, what use to feel like an errand turned into a friendly business visit or should I say turned back on how it was suppose to be. And I'm talking about great customer service cause that will be the first thing you will notice right as you enter. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself! customer service is still alive! Even though my home is 3 ups stores away it's worth the trip and for such a small location they still manage they have 3 registers/computers/scanners with staffs ready to get you in and out without the rush like your personal time matters! They keep it very professional and most of all very helpful wether it's helping you unload or answering questions the staffs never seem to be bothered and that's a plus for me. Phong was friendly, efficient, and helpful! The store has only been open for 3 months now and I'm glad they're here! When I need to send out packages from The UPS Store, the closest one was always in Alhambra. Staples can ship items too, but only if there's a shipping label attached. I randomly drove by, on my way home, and saw this new UPS Store! Phong greeted me, scanned my code and handed me a receipt in less than 30 seconds. We're lucky to have this location in Monterey Park! Stopped by a second time on a weekday evening and the line was long, but the service was still great. Everyone's very efficient! read more

This location did it again. They've been here since I was a kid and continuously do a great job with shipping and Amazon returns. They're tucked away on the side of the plaza and parking is usually readily available. read more

Walked n staff saw me holding a package w/ cut-out return package label & suggested I used an attach stick-on plastic sheet., she then helped me put on the label in but told me I can go across the street cause it was a FedEx return label. read more

I've been to this location six times every time I come the staff is super friendly and helpful. In an era where customer service is no longer a thing this establishment is absolutely amazing at customer service. Keep us the great job. read more

Just attempted an Amazon return for a bulky back pillow item at Staples. They rejected it with a not so nice attitude. Called Amazon and they rerouted it to the UPS store. The gentleman at the front was super nice and accommodating. This right people is customer service. Highly recommend. read more

Parking is easy, everything is new and service is amazing. Available P.O boxes, quick shredding without the hassle of cleanup, and easy drop offs for returns (main reason why I came here). Not going elsewhere. This is my new spot. read more

I've been shipping stuff for years and honestly most UPS locations feel the same, but this new one that just opened is on another level. Walked in today with a last-minute return that had about 47 stickers on it from some online retailer, plus two weird-shaped boxes I needed to send to family out of state. The guy behind the counter (I think his name was Mike?) didn't even blink. He took his time, explained the cheapest options without trying to upsell me, and even found a discount I didn't know existed. Everything was packed perfectly, labels printed fast, and he double-checked addresses with me so nothing would get lost during the holidays. The store itself is brand new, super clean, tons of packing supplies on the shelves, and they actually have those little flat-rate boxes in every size right up front (unlike some locations where you have to hunt for them). Also, huge bonus: parking is easy, they open earlier than most UPS Stores I've used, and the vibe is genuinely friendly. No grumpy energy, no rushing you out the door. You can tell the owner cares because every person working there seems happy to be there. 10/10 will be my new go-to spot from now on. I love online shopping, but sometimes I hate online returns. This store made it easy for me to drop off my Target and Amazon returns. The staff are polite, efficient, and well-trained, so I never have to wait long to drop off my items. They provide a receipt and process things quickly. The last time I went, I dropped off two items on Tuesday morning and Target emailed me the same night that they received them items and issued the refund. I recommend everyone to go to this store even if it's a little out of the way. read more

Terrible customer service. The instructions on my return specifically said that the UPS store is to scan my QR code from Amazon to obtain the label since there is no other for me to print the label. Girl at the counter said she needs the label which I am unable to print. read more

Wow! It's my first time at this UPS location and I totally agreed with all the others 5 stars reviews. I need to return a Microwave back to Amazon and it was pretty heavy for a 63 years old woman to carry into the store so I ask one of the workers if they can help me and a young lady volunteer and helped carry in all by herself. I want to offer tips for assisting me but she say they cannot accept tips. Besides the wonderful customer services, parking was very easy to find. I will definitely come to this location in the future when I need to use UPS. read more
