June 1 (and previous visits) this UPS store was going to charge me $2 to print a label for a return to Amazon. I chose NOT to use that "service". This place nickels & dimes people & over charges for their "service" the term the owner used. I went to another UPS, they charged 48 cents!! My advise do not go to the UPS at 5 Mile & Newburg in Livonia. Gouger. Unfriendly. Arrogant. read more

This was a good location... unfortunately it took a wrong turn with new ownership. New wasn't exactly improved. The employees are rude and disrespectful, and they try to up charge for everything. I had an Amazon package I was returning and the instructions specifically stated UPS would box, label and ship it, all they needed to do was scan the QR code. The employee insisted that was incorrect and attempted to extort the price of a box out of me. I'm very disappointed by the quality of service at this location and would advise anyone to try a different carrier. FedEx or even USPS could do a better job than that. read more

This location has friendly and helpful customer service. It was packed. I shipped a piece of carryon luggage to Florida and it cost about $100 which was under 50lbs. They out it in a box and did all the work. It took about a week to arrive but everything was in place and nothing broken. I will definitely go back here tor any of my shipping needs. read more

This location is the nearest to my home. The workers are friendly, and wait time isn't long even though they get busy at times.

(This is a review of the service at the Livonia Merriman location, not necessarily incomming UPS delivery-although unless they have a really lousy driver sometimes they are pretty solid -or UPS pricing or the quality of their insurance). These guys are always great, so mellow, fast, helpful etc. the people at the front desk are always respectful and patient. For the management over there-my guy Dylan is always really cool, give the kid a bonus or raise or something, he does a really great job. But yeah, FED-Ex and USPS are always a hassle, they aren't always awful but I know at UPS it's just gonna go really fast and anything stressful I'm worried over when I come in the employees are always quick and relaxed, they deserve props. read more

This is our work drop-off location. I haven't had any issues with this place whatsoever and I've been coming here for well over a decade. What I do notice is that a lot of customers don't know how to ship things correctly. They may not come prepared with labels or boxes or Amazon Return Authorizations...whatever it is it seems like the staff here is always looking to help however needed. They haven't given me a reason to not want to come here and UPS is always better than FedEx no matter how you slice it, so there's that. read more

UPS is definitely my favorite location for any returns or shipments I need sent. Every time I walk in this store, I'm greeted with a smile and "hello." Line moves super quickly and the customer service is PHENOMENAL. Another plus is that they have P.O. Boxes inside. read more

Something is shady about this UPS store. I went up there to send back a package from Amazon. The guy working there told me there would be a $3 fee to print out the label. I emailed the shipping label to the store. He told me he couldn't access it and that I'd have to login into my amazon account from there computer. I didn't feel comfortable doing that, so I decided to try another store. The next closest store was in Farmington hills. They didn't have a problem accessing the email I sent to them and they didn't charge me to print out the label. Very weird!!! read more

Man at the desk is very rude. He denied to give receipt for the package I was sending saying that "I know there is nothing important in that box". When I asked him what proof I have that I gave this package to UPS, if you don't give me receipt of the scan!" He flatly denied "I won't scan it. Just leave it on the desk." When I expressed my discomfort on him not scanning he said you take photo of the label if you want and then track it online! Considering time sensitivity of the shipment I left it on the desk and hope that it gets to destination in time. read more

Worst location ever! I also, come here because it is close to my home. Customer service is rude. Dropped a package off and they couldn't read the barcode and told me I need to reprint label. They didn't even try manually typing in the number. They wanted to charge 3 dollars for a label reprint. I left and went to Farmington Hills location and they had no problem! I will never come to Livonia location again! read more

With the address 33006 w 7 mile td. #316 livonia mi. 48152 says his name is Bill addressed to our home with our last name says he noticed or hse. Wants to buy it? With a phone # to call him 734 245 9654 Bill. We live in lincoln park? So i googled thee address on the post card with photos of ups spunds like they have some scam artists there as employees ?? read more

The UPS Store and UPS are two separate entries. The UPS store did not use proper packaging and our shipment was crushed by UPS. UPS states they will not pay out on the claim because it was not packaged properly. The UPS store says it was. The UPS store will not pay on the claim because it was not shipped using her account number. Their guarantee is "We package. We ship. We guarantee". We took our items to them for packaging, and had them ship items we sold on eBay. In other words, they packaged, they shipped, and now it's turned into a big finger pointing contest between UPS and The UPS Store, while we, as the customer, loose. This is nothing but false advertising, and a big scam for UPS and The UPS Store to make money by screwing over customers and shirking their responsibilities for your item's safety while in their possession. Our holiday gift from these scam artists was to get screwed out of close to $800. Their offer: We'll refund the $71 for packaging. Buyer beware. read more

I've been to this location a couple of times, usually to drop off packages. They are always slow. This time I actually came to ship a package and the employee who was helping me did not know how to spell and took forever! Shouldn't spelling be a requirement to work here? You need to enter addresses all day but you can't even spell a state or a common street name. If this wasn't the closest location to work I wouldn't have came. read more
