Everyone has their own horror stories about standing in line at the local post office during the…read moreholiday season. Lines that go on forever, and are so slow that a bottle Heinz ketchup flows twice as fast. Thankfully, a friend of mine told me about this place on M-17, just west of Golfside Road. I needed to mail a package to my friend in Tokyo, so I went to the local post office on my day off, and there had to be nearly 50 people waiting in line. Then I remembered Goin' Postal was right near a specialized grocery store that I really like on M-17. So I left the line behind and drove out west of town. Was I ever lucky, I was the only person in line, and after I filled out my customs forms, purchased some stamps I was right out the door in less than 10 minutes. The staff at this place is very friendly and gave me several shipping options to choose from. I can just imagine as I drove home, most of the people in that line at the local post office were still waiting in line to be served. That said, I was amazed that my package arrived within a week. I highly recommend this place, as they are faster than the local post office, and they don't have the attitude that some of the postal workers have.

I was pleasantly surprised that they had free packing material at this location. Tape, peanuts, bubble wrap to use for packing were on a table and available gir use. This was a plus because I only had a box. The price for shipping is a little steep but not much that can be done about that. You can ship via UPS, FEDEX, USPS. They give you the lowest option which is a plus. Overall it was a good experience. Convenient and a short drive. I will use them again.

Ordered a lens on Amazon. Received the lens. While starting to peel the seal off the box, noticed…read morethat they have a 15% restocking fee on returns. Stopped peeling the label. Returned the box unopened. They still charged me the 15% restocking fee, noting that I "tampered" with the label and then claimed that the lens itself had wear on the back from being used. I did not even open the box, much less use the lens. Very disappointing customer service experience. I'm not the first person to have reported that the actual item being returned did not match their claims about the item being returned.
