So, the other day as I was headed to work I needed a quick stop to mail a birthday present. Surely you say, by 9am the post office will be open?? Surely you'd be wrong in Ferndale! NOT!! However- have no fear you people that anticipate a business will be open by 9- a time that most poor souls are at work, getting to work, or already slaving away by this time. Because! Pak Mail is open. Now they aren't the cheapest in town... but customer service is their game. If you kindly ask for the most expedient and cost effective method- they will tell you. They will also pack it for you, label it for you, etc. I've been in here a few times, not always best deal, but effective. Additionally they are a package return for Amazon! Bonus!!! AND they are seconds away from the post office that only opens at 9:30 am. read more

A great full-service business in a great location within Ferndale. There is ample parking on the street in behind the building. I received two different types of services the other day - one for notary, which was a 10th of the price of the last when I paid for, and to mail out a delicate package. The man who assisted me was very thorough and quite happy. I will definitely go back for any future services I need. I've been going to pakmail for awhile now for its convenience. No waiting in line, just drop off my pre paid packages and leave. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes a week for my package to even leave the place and get updated tracking, even for domestic packages. Furthermore, Leonardo is by far the rudest most miserable person I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service. His work ethic is worse than a teenagers first job at a fast food drive thru. Not really sure what's out there for this guy if he can't place a package from point A to point B without huffing and puffing. Waiting in line at the post office certainly beats their terrible service. read more

I have done business with PakMail since they opened and I always felt my merchandise was in good hands and Leonardo was the best! Since the moved...I would not do business with them ever again!!! The first impression... he took my money then threw my package in the pickup container. I left the store wondering if the glass contained in the package would arrive s as live! Needless to mention, FedEx refused to deliver the package and told me that because I was filing a claim I needed to contact PakMail who told me I needed proof that package was damaged . Became obvious he heard nothing I said. 6 Feb the package was scheduled to arrive and I'm still dealing with PakMail.... never again read more

I truly enjoyed going to Pak Mail in Ferndale. The customer service was an awesome experience. The location was easy to access too. I like how they were conventely located in Ferndale. I am so sad to hear that they are moving once again. The store have developed a following of loyal and regular customers and I like how it was conveniently located in Ferndale. Now they are moving further away which make it more difficulty for me to send mail and do my shipping. I wish they would stay for 1 more Year. read more

I do a lot of business related through Pak Mail. They are always friendly and helpful. They keep files on regular customers-business customers or just someone who sends lots of presents home for the holidays. This way they can just pull up your uncle Joe's address for you once a year-it makes it so easy. I highly recommend. read more

Great place to drop off DHL packages. Very helpful staff. I came in to drop off a DHL package and the DHL driver was about to leave the man helping me went out and asked him to stay and wait until I finished my shipping form and he did without question. read more

He helped me with a form that I needed notarized, and even gave me a discount because he was sympathetic of all the hoops I was jumping through (receiving a refund from my auto warranty company) to get this done. read more

I had to ship a package UPS from Ferndale to California and was charged over $20. I thought that was a little high and mentioned it to the clerk but no response. I went home and created my own shipping label on UPS.com with the dimensions and weight that I shipped - the cost on the UPS website was $11.95!!! I called PakMail and was told that that was PakMail's rate and was advised that it would have been cheaper for me to print my own label!!!! Well, guess what? From now own, I will and won't bother to ever go to a PakMail store again!... read more

Pak Mail is very convenient and the staff are so nice. They have two copy machines and a full compliment of shipping options.
