My wife has decided to gradually sell everything in her closet. I'm exaggerating somewhat, but not…read moreby much. She has a little business going through Poshmark, which means I take a lot of trips to the post office. I have tried other post offices in the area, but this is consistently the best. The Mount Clemens post office has been closed three times due to Covid already. It's closer to my house, but it's about 50-50 it will be a wasted trip. The chesterfield post office is generally good, but the dropbox in the lobby area is currently broken. This is how I drop off packages many times, so this is a problem, too. Besides everything being in working order, the business hours are extensive so you can get your packages scanned the same day. They are currently limiting five people in the main lobby at a time, but it moves reasonably quickly. The outer lobby area is very well equipped and well-maintained, with the ability to print your own postage as well as a fully functioning dropbox. Most crucially, packages you drop off in the 24 hour lobby after hours are generally scanned the next day. This is significantly better than most places are doing these days. And, despite the pressure of being in this line of work, everybody I have dealt with at the counter has been professional and friendly. I know my packages are in good hands when I bring them here.

That was the case today, so I decided to try a different post office. Fraser post office to the rescue! They are tiny, and out-of-the-way, which really helps in this particular case. And, the lady behind the counter could not have been more friendly. She had no problem scanning the 18 packages I brought in, and we had a nice conversation as she did so. I think I may have found a new favorite post office.

I walked up to the door and there were no customers in the store. There were two people working and one was on the phone and didn't see me, but the other person working (which I believe was the owner) stood there watching me try to open the door. Thankfully, a very nice man from the store next to them walked out and saw me and opened the door for me. I thought ok, I walked up to the counter and set the box down with the label on top so it was easy to scan. He then scans the label and then tells me to pick it up and carry it to the back end of the counter which was back behind him. Then just stood there watching me struggle and handed me my return receipt as I was walking out. Will never go there again, I will make sure our business spends their money at other locations.

We took the package in on a Saturday and by Monday, the recipient was thanking us for it. Now that's what I call fast service. My husband was the one to take the package into the store as I waited in the car. I watched several customers walk in and out, so they were doing a brisk business and seemed to be keeping up with the flow of customer traffic. It took a total of 8 minutes, so not bad at all. With the Clinton Township Post Office within walking distance, I'll definitely keep using UPS when I can. Why? The lines at the post office are often times long and the mail can be sporadic as far as how long it takes to arrive at it's addressed destination. With the surprising two day delivery that was made by UPS, they won me over. With the additional services they provide, I'll keep returning.

Roseville police are one of the most corrupt police out there in Michigan they will say they're…read moredoing a welfare check on you but all reality you will have a warrant and they'll arrest you the second you say you are the person they're looking for this should be illegal, but they do a lot of illegal things and get away with it we'll catch them flying down Gratiot going 80 mph but once somebody else does it, it's a case I've watched multiple Roseville police officers turn off their body cam before questioning people. They are very sneaky and me personally, I wouldn't even trust them from a mile away.

These guys are so great, I've been dealing with a lot of mental health issues lately I'm a combat…read moredisabled veteran and just recently got divorced so living alone in a new city brings back a lot of the fears and anxietys I had as an only child when I'd be left alone for hours and hours. Every time I've called they have responded with the utmost respect and dignity and treated me so nice even though the reasons I was calling turned out to be false alarms and it was just my mind playing tricks on me. They did not judge nor act immature in any way, they were excellence in every manner of the word. I really appreciate it although I feel like crawling under a shell right now as I thought someone had broken in my house while I was gone when I got back but they did not find any trace of anyone so hopefully it was all in my head but even if it wasn't they did such an amazing job and even gave me a ride to the hospital to get checked out! They had wonderful customer service. I would highly recommend going to this UPS store for copies or for whatever you need.
