I dropped off some returns today. One of my packages had a loose end, and I requested that the employee tape it off a bit. The employee said I had to buy packaging tape and that they wouldn't tape it for me. I was surprised to hear that response, as I had never had an issue with such a thing at any other UPS location. How much does a foot of packaging tape cost? Maybe half a penny? The place is just being cheap by not offering any help with taping a small package. A few times, I saw the store being run by just one employee (mostly on Sundays, I believe) and having a big line at the checkout. Another time, a young girl didn't let me ship an item with the brown product package. She insisted that I buy shipping material from them and repack it. I blame the franchise owner for the poor customer service, and I think the owner is focusing more on profitability than on customer service. I recommend the UPS store at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center over this location. read more

walked in and and joined the line. there was one person in front of me. shortly after i join the line a woman walks in and straight up to a diffrent register. i assumed she was here earlier and was trying to get her order corrected. no, the only associate walks over and helps her first, with a bunch of printing stuff. tasks that take significantly longer than the two quick blatantly obvious amazon drop-offs us two were in line for. after 10 minutes and seeing a gap in the service, i ask the associate if she can help us since we were already in line, and get a reply "i'm the only person working right now, i'm helping someone" when all is said, the third customer pays at the register. which is cool and all but why didn't she join the line to be helped...? what a weird choice from the solo employee. and not great time management either. two stars since service from the employees i'm familiar with is always efficient (important) and friendly (less important). read more

There was one young man on the counter and a crowd of folks to help! He was quick, friendly and professional! I was very impressed!!

I had a great experience here - I needed help with making copies in sort of a complicated way, but the staff rose to the challenge and made it happen. I'm super pleased. read more

Customer service is pretty erratic. Like everything else it depends who you get. The nice older Asian gentleman is hard to communicate with so it's just frustrating to try to get specific delivery info from him. He was surprised their USPS pickup had already been made earlier today (it was 6:15pm when i was here) so his calculations for delivering my baked goods for my aunt's birthday are off by a day. The staff were very nice and quick at processing my needs. When I arrived, I had a very heavy box. The representative working, came out and held the door open for me to assist me. I was very thankful as it would have been a struggle without that little bit of assistance. read more

This ups location has no consistency, I was here a week and a half ago to and had them print out my return label with no charge. I went in today for the same thing and was told I would be charged. I had to leave as I had no cards on me but my Apple Pay through my phone which they don't accept. read more

UPS delivered a tire to me not being packaged they wanna charge me crazy money to package the tire and said they cannot send it took it to Stonebridge and everything went fine I do not recommend the store at all they're all independently owned customer service was sorry read more

This location is consistent with having about 5-6 customers waiting around for service. During this pandemic customer service went down hill. My guess will be that these businesses think they are the only game in town. I am done with this Tacketts Mill Location. I gave this location 4 trys and I am done. 1st incident waiting in line to be helped I stood in line while another customer was asking questions for more than 5- 10 minutes. I wasn't upset with the customer I was upset that the other employee in the store did not seem fit to help the line that was forming instead of helping customers waiting. After 10 minutes I turned around and walked out. 2nd visit came in to do a Amazon return. Had my QR code the scan and Amazon clearly says I do not have to package. After scanning the QR code he ask me for the package it came in. I showed him my device that it says I do not need to package but he would not take my return without the package. 3rd time came in 4 other people in the store this time it was for my wife returning something to Amazon waited almost 15 mins by this time 4 other people came in behind me. It's not the customers it's the employees only one person helps the customers while the other person just keep asking the person helping the customers questions. I tried to stay calm because that could be a new person but they started helping customers while we was walking out by this time it was about 7 people in line. 4th time today came in for a simple Amazon return I walk in 1 person working 5 people standing around looking frustrated I asked if he was the only one he said yes I turned around and walked out. I walked to Safeway to give the location time to help customers came back about 20 mins later again 4 people waiting around and 2 other people in line. It's only this location. I pass by this place in the way home from work And now I go past my home to the other locations. Merchant Plaza and Galveston Court I never had issues but it's worth the trip from the experience I had at Tacketts Mill never again will they get my service. I am done All location should have a self scan and drop off for pre packaged items with labels read more

The owner and staff consistently professional, and customer oriented, focus. The owner is hands on with the daily and routine functions, in my opinion what exemplifies the quality in service customers value. This day, the owner went above and beyond, finding a solution to my problem that any other proprietor likely not inconvenienced as it was managed personally, with a smile and virtual hug! read more

A package was stolen (box ripped, item stolen and box taped back up) and I tried to submit a claim. Unfortunately the tracking number was somehow tied to the UPS store account. Concerned I'm told by the employee to call Customer service. Customer service then says only that UPS Store can file the claim. After the store files the claim I ask for any information so I can check the status of the claim and verify the information. I'm again referred to the Customer service and not even given a claim number by the UPS store. Customer service tells me the whole situation with my package being tied to their account is not the norm but the claims department is closed so I can't get any information. I call the next morning and new customer service rep won't give me any information. I'm going back to the UPS store to get information but I don't recommend them thus far. read more
