This store is a complete rip-off. The sign clearly states that prints are .25 cents per page. I decided to print on both sides to reduce the cost, but I was charged for 99 pages. When I questioned the cashier, they told me that the price is the same for both sides because I used the ink. What on earth are they doing? read more

I scheduled an appointment on their website, got the conformation, got a second conformation the morning of the appointment, and when I arrived 9:15 for my 9:30 appointment, I was told the notary does not come in till 11:30. read more

Good no more. This Nicolson Lane location was my go-to UPS store for decades. Make sure they give you a receipt and separate tracking numbers for each package you drop off. I only got one receipt when I dropped off two returns recently. One package didn't make it - the one without a receipt of course. I had to work with the online retailer to track the package down at some UPS distribution point in Laurel. No help was offered by the UPS store. Not going back. read more

I found the staff helpful and efficient. There can sometimes be a line of people as it nears closing time but the line moved fairly fast when I visited. They have a computer and printer you can use to print labels for $3. read more

I wasn't told about the cost od the shipping materials until we got to the "put your card in the slot" phase because they knew it was outlandish. Your typical UPS store. They offer a variety of services such as printing, packing/shipping, and even mailboxes. Need some moving supplies...that got that here. Need a last minute birthday card...that got that here too. Customer service was good. It was a little awkward though when they were talking about a previous customer in front of me, while I was being helped. Save that for later. Just wondering: if the store needs 20 min and counting to transmit a four-page fax to a major financial institution, is that on account of lousy equipment or bad fiber optic cables? Is it smart management to transmit a fax, tell the customer to come back in 5 min to pay, make him wait on line a second time, and after 10 min of waiting tell him " it's still sending?" Costs $8.00 to send a four-page fax, and the receipt was barely readable. "Don't blame us," says the attendant. After all, why would UPS add toner to its machines when they can get away with not doing so? Sorry, last time at this location. read more

The waiting line is awful! Be here at 12 o'clock and cost me 1 hour to send a package. Apparently the lady who is working today has no idea what she is doing. I send international package all the time and this is the first time I was told I need to purchase a 79 cents label just to write my address. Used to like this location since it was fast, but since they changed the staff, the speed just became very slow. Lessons learned and will not visit here again. read more

I came to this location during my lunch break and I love that there are so many things conveniently located near me (this being one of them). This location is a standard UPS Store no frills. The staff are very friendly and personable. I got the help I needed and my questions answered. Its in a huge shopping center thats pretty busy but it wasn't too bad finding parking. I know with most UPS locations they tend to get busy during peak hours like at lunch time, but they were able to check people out quickly and keep the line moving. read more

Absolutely rude. When I walked I greeted the woman working there. She didn't say hello and continued putting a package together. I figured she had a long day but then it got worse. When she was done she didn't say hello and quickly asked for ID. She threw my ID don't on the counter and went to look for my package. When she returned she rudely demanded, not asked I sign. I took my package and left. What a awful experience. Thankfully there are other UPS stores I can use. She needs better costumer service training. read more

UPS has a deal with Amazon Prime that customers in the Try Before You Buy program can deliver an item that needs to be returned to UPS, without boxing and mailing it themself. I went to this UPS store, and they knew nothing about the program--told me to take it up with Amazon. They then tried to sell me packaging materials. read more

I wrote this review because of the previous bad reviews. This store is loving and caring and gives personalized service. I have a box with them. They watch over it for me as I only go there every few months. They know my name and my brother's name who also picks up mail for me. It is a very high volume store so they are going to make mistakes and occasionally give bad service. They always apologize and resolve it. Once I had a problem and the manager came in from home to resolve it. Every time I go there I see prompt and efficient service. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to ANY other UPS store in the area. This is the second time I've (tried to) use this location and what a NIGHTMARE! The girl that works there is rude and has ZERO understanding of basic customer service. She watched as I struggled to drag in four boxes of amazon returns and then after starting on the labels tells me that they've started charging for tape when there are a lot of boxes. I have four boxes...define a lot please. Furthermore, just tell me that this time will be an exception but to be sure to tape boxes at home next time. It's sure as hell going to cost you more than the $4 you wanted to charge for tape to retain a customer...I ended up just leaving and going to the AMAZING location on Westlake in Bethesda. I absolutely HATE to post this review, because I've been using this store to mail packages for YEARS and love the long-time employeeswho work there. BUT! whenever the owner hires new people, she fails to train them. So today, I go in to pick up copies of documents I've spent HOURS formatting perfectly, and they're a disaster. Why? Because the store has an ancient Dell computer that doesn't properly support Word, so all my formatting was lost. All the owner had to do is train her new staff to say "send your documents as PDFs; our system can't support Word." Ten little words that would have kept me from getting upset and wasting my precious time. Not to mention the waste of paper! Ridiculous. read more

I came here to drop off a few boxes (would've spent ~$50+ on shipping) but forgot to tape my boxes but Carlos did not tape the boxes up for us but insisted we purchase a roll of tape for $8. Would give this UPS store negative stars if it was an option! Had a 75# item valued at $1100 shipped from this store. Paid extra to have them "professionally" package and ship. Item was dropped and delivered with approx. $450 worth of damage that I had to pay to fix. I filed a claim w/ UPS and they've given me the run around and I've been waiting to settle the claim for almost 2 months! Absolute worst place to have items shipped...Avoid unless you want major headaches to deal with! read more

I will probably be back but the entire staff needs training on how to take back the Comcast boxes. Also the manager should not step out at lunch time when people will more than likely come in to take his personal calls. All in all my visit went quickly once I was helped. The location seems to do a lot of business as well and is convient to get to. You don't have to speak to anyone if you are just dropping off a prepackaged item for shipping.
