Amazon Returns used to be rather easy here, I was even willing to pay the extra dollar for convenience. Was told today I'd need to buy a box from them directly in order to get the item returned. I asked the person who checked me out to cease the return so I could take it somewhere else. She claimed she couldn't, I ended up spending 45 minutes on the phone with Amazon to get a refund. While this review isn't necessarily directed at the store's other offerings, it is a steer clear on Amazon returns here. read more

I shipped a 16 lb, 2 oz picture to a friend in NY. 90 seconds after handing over my credit card, I realized it would be way cheaper to just order a 2nd print from the manufacturer and have it be shipped from there. Immediately upon learning my mistake I asked to cancel. The manager literally hid in the back of the store while they tried to claim there was nothing they could do and put a 16 year old kid in front of me that I refused to take my frustration out on. Yeah, technically I agreed to your shipping terms, but you could have been good people and recognized that I made an untimely mistake and been decent human beings about it. Instead you stole, yes STOLE $448 dollars from me. Congratulations for taking the most profitable package in UPS store history. Great job slipping in the $297 large package fee that I didn't notice. Fool me once, shame on me. You will never get my business again. Yeah, you are going to say that the truck was magically waiting in the back of the store but I drove around the back and it wasn't there and the entire process was 2 minutes from start to finish. This location use to be great. They have a women working there that thinks she is the Amazon police. She will literally tell you that you need to use the self service for Amazon and she is on her phone instead oaf servicing customers. She is rude and condescending. Dropping off a pre-paid box with a dead piece of Verizon FiOS television equipment. Very helpful guy behind the counter. Gave me the very good advice of hanging onto the shipping receipt until the equipment shows up as returned and your account is clear. He's heard horror stories. Based on the number of boxes he sees, I can see why. He had a good idea of scanning, or taking a picture of, the receipt and e-mailing it to yourself. This way you have a digital copy that won't get lost and you can keep it safe for a long time. Which reminds me, I still need to do that, if I can find it. Dang! I went in today to send some confusing Amazon returns, but after dragging my boxes into the store, it turned out that two of them (the biggest ones of course) had to be taken to Kohls instead. Josh, was over the top helpful and eventually we managed to get Amazon to change this rule so I could indeed leave them at UPS. I moved out of the area and had my realtor send a framed photo that I had mistakenly left. Well, a package arrived and it was a box of blankets. When I called the store to tell them I had gotten the wrong package, they made excuses like they don't do the packaging there, we can't give you a tracking label, as that has to come from UPS directly. So, I called the Grapevine UPS Store-I love working with Clark. I asked them if they package and ship everything at their store. The lady said 'yes' except for anything heavier then 160 #'s. So, I don't know why this store is different, but it's been 3 weeks and they say my picture is still there. No call or email back from Ian Stewart, who for being their "go-to" person, is never there! Dropped a package off on Nov 6 at 10:00 AM. I paid for 2nd Day air with arrival on Nov 6. I checked the tracking and delivery is now Nov 11??? This UPS Store says it was put on the wrong truck. UPS Customer Service says they were not even given the package until Nov 7. Who is lying??? No accountability. I would not recommend this store. I recently TRIED to send a package back to a shipper at this location. I just needed to print the UPS return label from my email which the shipper sent me for my convenience. Once again, I just needed to send the label to this UPS Store via email, print the label and leave package. First I was told they were unable to handle that request, when I said I've done this many times at other UPS Stores without a problem, I was then told there would be a $2.00 fee. I asked if we had a misunderstanding, since other UPS Stores don't charge and you DO make a couple "dollars" on this return label. Nope, that was the price. I called the manager at this location, explained all the above and she said that was the OWNERS policy. I suggested she revisit this policy with him and she refused. The new owners of this store are awesome and so is the staff! I am not from the area and needed to ship a package. My experience here was quite pleasant. I'm unsure about why there are some negative reviews on here, as I found the staff helpful and the store temp comfortable. I did happen to see a package being opened, but that was because it moved on its own. Imagine everyone's surprise when a LIZARD jumped out! Kudos to the staff for realizing there was an issue with the package. I imagine that the poor lil fellow (or gal) would have probably died before he arrived at his destination, since the package wasn't marked for hand delivery or having "live" contents. read more

I try to do most of my shipping here, the tracking info is very fast send to email and the prices are above normal. There is a young man there, he must be the owners son, he at times has shown some attitude but there is a rock employee there and she is a joy to speak with...she takes time to talk, tell stories and seems very well grounded. A basic expectation of a UPS store would be that they can pack, ship, and track your item. If that is what you are looking for... avoid this location. These guys were so incompetent that what they packed up for me literally didn't even make it out of their store and to the Ft. Worth distribution center before the box came open and the merchandise was lost. And, despite UPS telling them that all they had in Ft. Worth was an empty box and that they should contact the customer about filing a claim, they never once called me. If I hadn't tried to track it myself a few weeks later, I never would have known they lost it. Once I called them about the issue, that's when their denials, excuses, and rudeness began. There are plenty of other UPS Store locations nearby. I will never frequent this particular one again, and if you take my word of warning, you won't either. read more

My sister recommended using the UPS store for shipping figurines from Fort Worth to New Jersey. Since I no longer had the original packaging I brought them in to be packed in shipped. I paid for 2 large boxes with packaging. I received the 1st box on Friday a small box. The other boxes came on Saturday. The firsto box didn't belong to me at all. The other boxes although marked fragile were both damaged. Something must have been on top of them. Several of my figurines were damaged beyond repair. They were first edition numbered Thomas Blackshear numbered figurines and can no longer be purchased. I followed the stores instructions on how to submit disputes. I recieved 1 check for the insured amount +some shipping costs. I am still awaiting payment for the second package. The shipping date was March 30th! I was told the dispute resolution is 4 weeks. I've called the store countless times sent many emails and I have yet to receive satisfaction. I will not recommend using this location. read more
