Let's get to the good stuff: -This place has such charm - The coffee, food and pastries I had were good -The price was reasonable -The young guy working behind the counter was super nice. -I love that you can mail à package and grab a coffee and sandwich. The ugly: -The guy behind the counter was working the whole store alone. He was very nice. He did not know how to work the mailing/shipping side. I'm not sure why the owner would leave an employee in the store alone especially when he doesn't know how to run all the services. I watched customers leave because of this. By the time the owner arrived he thought the people who needed a package mailed were going to be waiting on him... not a chance... -I ordered a sandwich, coffee, and a pastry and both were good. The cashier was also the cook. He did a great job with juggling everything but he should not have been left alone. I decided to take my items to go because I didn't want to watch him struggle while trying to have a peaceful lunch. - Food handling practices were not being followed but when you're doing it all, it's hard to remember not to use the same rag you wiped à table with on a dish you're about to serve. We live down the street from World Blend, they have the best coffee, you can customize your drink with various milk alternatives, flavors and sugar free options. We have indulged in their pastries my favorite is the cherry danish we also like their savory menu, pigs in a blanket sprinkled with sesame seeds empanadas are tasty as are their sandwiches. World Blend has various activities such as music, a book club, or vendor weekends; they like to keep their customers engaged to come back. I love going as a place to relax and unwind in their homey atmosphere. Did I mention there's a lava lamp in the back room? It brings back childhood memories. What a unique space! A coffee shop juxtaposed with a print shop is the last combo I would have expected. I loved the coffee mugs from around the world. I tried a dragon latte which was sweet and spicy at the same time. I paired it with a tart lemon bar. Really delicious! The baristas laughed and joked around with regulars. Very friendly service and a HUGE menu with almost too many options for food and beverages. I ordered an iced latte as did my partner. Apparently, World Blend was named Best in Texas when it comes to coffee. With that in mind we had to stop by and we now understand why it received the accolades. First off, WB has such a great vibe. They have turned a rather generic strip center store front into a cozy, warm, rustic coffee house. This place is unstumpable when it comes to coffee and tea beverages. The huge wall behind the counter is the most massive menu you can imagine. My wife likes coffee with a touch of cayenne. Where she can find that it is generally a syrup. Here it is real cayenne. She loved her cayenne infused latte! The barista recommended a splash of vanilla which did a great job of balancing the cayenne. I had a standard latte and the roast they use is rich, bright with flavor and the creaminess of the milk made is super smooth. World Blend has an amazing array of fresh pastries from unique empanadas to muffins to egg sandwiches. We tried a "bistro" which is a buttery pastry filled with spinach and feta. It was a light and airy pastry and the flavors blended nicely. We also ordered a Monkey Bread muffin. It was a not too sweet take on monkey bread that was also light in texture. It was not heavy or overly seasoned. I rate World Blend a "must check out". Great coffee and delicious food. What more could you want? read more

Their entire wall has plenty of drink options catered to everyone's preferences. I went with the snickerdoodle iced latte. I went here on December 30 with a friend to hang out and my goddd I love everything that they have there. They have so much variety in food and drinks it was difficult to choose what I wanted but I ended up going with a croissegg, cherry danish and a pistachio latte. It tasted super good and decently priced. I also love the cozy vibe that they have going on there with the way they decorate everything for the holidays at the time. I also noticed that in the bathroom they have posters for local events which I thought was nice because it shows involvement in the community. The drink and pastry were prepared quickly and brought to my table, great service! The latte was very good and well balanced. The espresso was moderate strength and tasty. The only reason I deducted a star was because I was not a big fan of the vanilla flavor, but I would certainly try another. The pastry was delicious, warm, and flakey. I would order that again. There are a combination of a variety of tables, and leather seating as well as a chalk wall menu with a very detailed menu. There's lots of gifts and items for purchase. I visited in response to high recommendations from coworkers. The gentleman that served me was very pleasant and helpful. What a surprise! If you're like me, when I pulled in at a little strip and saw the sign, I was expecting a cold, business-like pack & ship that happened to also sell coffee. That is NOT what I found! While it's true that you can get a coffee, an ice cream - and even a sandwich - and also ship a package, but this is a very cozy, inviting coffee and sandwich shop that really offers a nice spot to relax with your favorite java, grab lunch, or enjoy a quiet spot to read or get some work done. As you enter, you'll first see display cases with a wide variety of pastries, including many vegan and gluten-free choices. You'll probably next notice the chalkboard behind the counter with so many choices you'll likely change your mind more than once. The drink menu lists both hot and cold coffees, smoothies, juices and other iced drinks, as well as boosters and 6 choices of milks. The other side of the chalkboard lists about a dozen choices of sandwiches or wraps, followed by a long list of espresso options. I ultimately selected a favorite coffee of mine; hot hazelnut latte, which was served with a small macaroon as a cap on the opening of the cup. I also chose the Brazilian brisket sandwich, which was quite good, but I also had the chance to try the Cuban sandwich, which I preferred because of the contrast of the pickle and mustard to the pork. Both were served on a lightly toasted roll and a bag of chips. The décor is warm, and there's something to see everywhere you look, including what I believe is a faux fireplace and coffee bean burlap bags from various countries. The service was good and appreciative. I believe the gentleman was by himself in taking the orders, making the coffees and preparing the food, but it was not a long wait on anything. We didn't try the pastries or ice cream, and there is also a cooler of bottled sodas for the non-coffee drinkers. There's certainly something here for everyone, no matter your tastes. I'm very disappointed to be leaving this review but this was all around uncomfortable experience. I love trying new coffee shops and different drinks so the good reviews brought me here. I studied the menu on the wall and since so many reviews mentioned the owner making great suggestions and being knowledgeable about coffee, I asked him what he would suggest for an iced decaf drink. He just said- "any latte is decaf" without any piece of helpful advice. He was blunt and seemed annoyed at the question. Yes, I know how decaf lattes work. I asked for a recommendation but okay, never mind. I proceeded to ask for a salted caramel latte which he said they were out of so I got an iced vanilla latte instead. I also decided to try a strawberry danish. The barista who made the drink seemed new but was trying his best and was friendly. I couldn't finish it, overly sweet and bitter at the same time and definitely not my type of latte. The ratio of espresso to milk was off as well. The danish was a bigger disappointment, it tasted like it was heated in the microwave. It wasn't flaky nor tasty and I wasn't able to make it past a few bites though I tried. Perhaps this place was better before or my experience is unique but I didn't get friendly or helpful service nor did I get a good drink or pastry. The idea of the place is interesting and the kid behind the counter was nice but I expected more from the owner and drink/food. I didn't finish either thing I ordered and left with a bitter (in every sense) taste in my mouth. I won't be returning but maybe you'll have a better experience. read more

Try this place for the first Time for breakfast lunch with my mom. I got a jalapeño kolache which is warmed up with a vanilla lavender coffee. My mom got a vanilla iced coffee with a turkey sandwich. There wasn't really much special about the sandwich but it tasted delicious it was freshly made. Definitely would come back to this place and try some more of the items considering they have a lot of smoothies coffee's muffins etc. read more

A nice coffee shop with great coffee, juice and gelato options. It has ample of parking space and have a shipping register for shipping needs. Checking in at yelp gives you 15% off on a natural juice, that I didn't use this time. This shop does a lot of events for kids and adults like crafts, book club, etc. I will go again to try more coffee options. read more

Usually I would give this place 5 stars because it used to be my favorite coffee shop to get drinks and study. However, my recent visits made me change my mind. About a month ago boyfriend went to study at world blend and as he was putting his stuff down the owner said, "so are you gonna order anything" before he even got to set his stuff down. I find it very rude that a loyal customer gets greeted that way. We always come and always get drinks. But the fact is, he didn't respect us enough to even welcome my boyfriend but instead rudely asks us that question. Today, I received a $5 off reward for my birthday and ordered a small white mocha, which is typically $4 or less. But after I put in my order, the owner who took my order proceeded to ask me for $1. How is it a possible that a SMALL drink comes out to be $6 total when it's usually $4 or less just because I redeemed a birthday reward that he gave me? I didn't receive a receipt either. Wish our experiences could've been better like it was before but now you just lost some loyal customers. Coffee is good but I don't see why $6 is an appropriate price for a small. :) read more

This place is a cozy little coffee shop. We came here for a little coffee date and got a coffee while my wife got a caramel macchiato. The coffee was good and not too dark.
