They helped me every time one of the charity firms let me down. They were careful in the moving, thoughtful in the packing ( they didn't pack my medicines or cleaning supplies for example) , and helped me retrieve 1 item I needed out of storage for an international trip. I had an awesome experience with them, and based on that i'd highly recommend them to anyone.

I just wanted to make you aware of our experience with Bekins so that you would not use their…read moreservices. Here is our story. We met and interviewed several moving companies. Bekins said that they would only use Bekins employees and not contract out any of the work. They guaranteed our move in date would be June 10th. They guaranteed our belongs would be well taken care of as well as thorough communication. This is why we went with Bekins. They packed our belongs on time and did a good job. I spoke with their representative in the office as well as the man handling the move at the house and they both guaranteed that we would move in on June 10th. So we planned all of our work schedule and help on June 10th. On June 9th I never heard from Bekins even though all their material states that we would receive a call the day before the move. I called their office around 4 just to make sure everything was okay, and no it wasn't. They were not going to be able to move us until the next day. They explained that other people's moves were more important than ours. On this date the general manager for the Coppell office said he would financially compensate us for our troubles and poor experience thus far with Bekins. So they came the next day to move us in. They had 2 Bekin employees and the rest were contract employees. The two employees stayed in the truck while the contract employees brought all of our belongings in. They didn't put any protective covering on the floor and were in a huge hurry to finish the job so they could get on to another job. They drug potting soil up the stairs, broke a piano leg, nicked an antique table, broke an antique rocking chair's arm, put a hole in a wall, and cut an upholstered chair with a box cutter. We spent the next few weeks moving boxes that were place in wrong rooms and locations. Many of our garage boxes were moved upstairs to a bedroom. While we were unpacking we realized that we were missing lots of belongings. We kept thinking the items would show up. Finally about a month after our move I called the office. I am not sure why I never received a phone call a phone call from them. I called and they said they did have our belongs. They forgot to unload the underbelly of the truck and they would deliver them to us. Again, I am not sure why they didn't call us as soon as they realized they didn't deliver all of our items. At this time I asked the general manager about the financial compensation he promised us on June 9th. He now had no recollection of the conversation. They sent someone out to assess the damage done to our home and belongings. We agreed on a settlement. My move coordinator told me a check was probably in the mail on August 18th. It is now October 10th and we have not received the settlement check. After I called the claims department in late August, they said they had no idea about our settlement. They contacted the Coppell office and then I was told I would receive a check the end of September. When the end of September came around I called the claims manager and emailed him with no response. Finally I called the the general manager at the Coppell office. He said he would personally contact me on the 8th and he didn't. I then received an email with no explanation for the delay stating that the check was cut on that morning. My two biggest complaints are lack of communication and follow through. I didn't receive communication along the way unless I called and initiated action. I highly regret doing business with Bekins.

Disappointing policy change that penalizes small resellers…read more I've used this pack-and-mail location regularly for my reselling business, typically dropping off 15-20 packages per week across multiple carriers. One of the main reasons I chose this location was convenience: they have pickups from all major vendors in one place and it's always been a pleasant experience up until recently. I print my own labels and pack my own items, which I'm fully aware they offer as paid services. However, doing that work myself is how I keep costs down for my business. Despite this, comments have been made in the past implying that by only using the drop-off service, I'm "not making them any money." As of January 1st, I was informed that if I drop off more than three packages, I'll be charged $2 per package just to drop them off. That means a quick, one-minute interaction to scan packages and provide a receipt now comes with a fee. I understand the economy is tough and businesses are trying to increase revenue. However, this policy feels especially frustrating when every other pack-and-mail store and all major carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) offer free drop-off, with USPS even providing free at-home pickup. This change feels less like a reasonable adjustment and more like being penalized for doing the work myself and using what was previously a free, basic service. While the cost itself may be small, it's the principle that matters. For those who rely on this location solely for high-volume drop-offs like I did, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Unfortunately, that's exactly what I'll be doing in the new year.

I also mail things because the post office has such a long line, but Pack N Mail is much quicker. They have all the mailing materials like envelopes and bubble wrap right there also, so you can buy what you need. The people who work there are friendly and helpful.
