I used UPS on Friday, 4/26, to print some documents and send a very important and time sensitive legal document. The print job was easy enough: $3 for 14 pages. Uriel, the gentleman that helped me, gave incorrect information about when the legal document I was mailing would be picked up. He confidently stated that USPS had not come to pick up any certified mail yet and would be coming by the end of the day. He estimated it would be sent the following day since it was being sent within Denton. At the time of writing this, it is 4 PM on the following Monday and my document has still not been picked up. I called the store and the woman I spoke to said the USPS doesn't always come at the same time. This is understandable and I wish this would've been told to me by Uriel when I initially dropped off the document. If I had known this I would've taken the document to USPS myself. Now the legal proceedings I'm trying to initiate are delayed due to Uriel's oversight. Edit: It's now Wednesday May 1st and my letter still has not been delivered. The letter was taken to Fort Worth and is being brought back to Denton. I understand that UPS can't control what another business does, but the employee should not have stated that it would be delivered the next day; does he not know the process of USPS picking up certified mail? Surely this is the normal routine done by USPS. This is extremely upsetting as again I am trying to initiate legal proceedings and they can't be started until the letter is delivered. This is causing a lot of unnecessary stress. Will not be conducting business here again. read more

I rented a mail box as it is close to my home. They were 24 hours at the time. Without notice, the changed stating people were coming in and sleeping. I asked why did they not discount and the clerk (employee) became defensive, hateful, and uncooperative. Terrible customer service! read more

I came to drop off a few Amazon returns. Most of my returns had QR code drop off options, however, one of my returns required the shipping label to be printed out. Upon arriving I requested information on how to get the shipping label printed out. I was informed it would be almost $4 dollars to print out my return label. Astonished, I asked for clarification, and was informed that for 1-5 sheets of paper it was a fixed price of nearly $4. I drove next-door to CVS and they charged $.29 a sheet! I paid CVS $.58 for the two page document I needed. Please do not let this UPS store scam you! I got my shipping label printed out at CVS and brought it back to the UPS store dropped it off. It's absolutely a rip off to charge someone nearly $4 to print off a UPS shipping label at UPS! Never again. The CVS employees next door were more than happy to assist and are aware of the UPS scam tactics! read more

My experience here was great. I had something I *had* to have printed that evening, and it was 5 minutes until the store closed. I called and asked if I emailed something, could they print it for me and I would come get it in just a couple minutes (I live super close). The guy was really nice about it, and when I showed up just a couple of minutes later, the documents were printed and ready to go! The staff have also been really nice any time I've needed to have something shipped. read more

I will never go back to this location. Jalissa "helped" me but was extremely rude to every customer that I saw her talk to. She kept claiming "We don't do THAT at THIS store". As soon as I walked up, I explicitly told her I had two packages to ship but she tried to process it as one and then said I never told her that it was two. Charged me $3 to print a shipping label I made on their website. I understand charging to print something unrelated to shipping, but making me pay that amount to print a label I made online using their service is ridiculous. If I didn't take time to make the label and measure/weigh my stuff and instead took more of the clerk's time to have her make one it would have been free. She should have used her head and let that one slide. Very impersonal. Funny thing is it wasn't even my money I used to pay. Their policy is so stupid that I leave a review. Also, the lady that opens the store parks right up front. Again, her lack of reasoning/care for customer service makes UPS look bad. I will be fair, she did open the store a little earlier than the posted time. The package showed up too. I'll add a star for that. read more

I came into the UPS store with several returns for Amazon, during the transaction I made a mistake with the labels of the dresses / got mixed up and needed to swap a couple of the labels. The guy helping me was very nice however Raul who was a standing behind the counter (later said he was the owner) starting making condescending comments that I must be new to this and I clearly didn't know what I was doing.. he continued to make me feel stupid for the mistakes then got confrontational and accused me of blaming them for the mix up.. didn't make sense considering I apologized several times. Rude. Incompetent. You better know how to do their job so you can explain to them. Had cash thrown at me across the counter as a refund when all I wanted was for them to fix the error. Unbelievable. Here are the details. I went in to have a document notarized to be sent to the TX Secretary of State for apostille. I spent time, money, and fuel to drive to the store to have the copy made and then notarized. After waiting over a week after paying for certified mail to have the document sent there with a self addressed stamped envelope which I also payed for, I get the document back saying it had "not been properly notarized". I took the document back to the notary, Raul Flores, who is also the owner, at this location and asked them to fix the problem by "properly notarizing" the document. I was told by both he and his employee (his daughter maybe?) that it was my job to tell them how to notarize it properly. We went back and forth a couple of minutes with them telling me again and again I have to tell them how to notarize something and it was during this time Raul took a one and a five out of the register and angrily threw it at me to refund my money. Forget all the time and fuel I spent driving back and forth between them and the post office and paying for certified mail to Austin etc. etc. He then proceeded to call the police because I was "harassing" them. He told the police on the phone I was refusing to leave although I had not been asked, and when I heard that I said, "Oh, you want me to leave? You could have asked." From there I called the UPS Store corporate office and logged a complaint. After calling the Secretary of State to ask them how the document needed to be notarized, I was informed by SoS personnel the notary is supposed to have known how to do it properly. The SoS staff said the notary did not know what they were doing. Maybe after they read this review he'll do some research to find out how to do his job so that his customers won't waste their time and money in the future. I will never go back, and will advise everyone I know to stay far away from that place. read more

It's just a UPS store, so I'm not going to give it a grandiose review or the maximum five-star rating, but they've been great this week as I am new to Denton and needed printing and shipping services. They lost a piece of mail that was handed to their employee for a mailbox in the store. Called and spoke with the owner and he told me they cannot do that and then called me a liar when I told him that his employees have allowed me to do this for the last 7 months. Unless Steve is working, PLEASE don't go to this location! I've known Steve for a few years now as a customer at various UPS locations, and of the multiple UPS stores that he's worked in I've always had the best customer service experiences. The owner of this location, however, is incredibly rude, and he has no idea how to work his own system. What should've been a simple task of returning a pair of pants to Amazon with a prepaid shipping label turned into a debate about MY responsibility as a customer, as he couldn't figure out how to process their new QR codes. Rather than try to find a solution to get my package shipped (again, with a label that had already been paid for) he just kept saying, "I don't know what to tell you", even after another associate told him this was an ongoing issue with their system. He essentially told me that if I have an problem with his poor customer service that I should just go elsewhere as it was an Amazon problem and not his (as if it was unheard of for a customer to come to a UPS store with the expectation that their packages be shipped- imagine that!) Miraculously, after rebooting his system, the shipping label printed right away, and he unceremoniously put it on my bag with no apology whatsoever. He then proceeds to tell me that I need to pay him to tape my shipping bags closed, stating, "What, do you think tape is free?", even though the bags that Amazon ships are pre-taped for re-sealing. I'm just blown away at the level of blatant rudeness this man thinks he can treat people with, but he's just ensured that he won't see another dime of my money. ***** To address the owner's response, I'm a Hispanic woman, as was the referenced employee. Try the race baiting on someone else. This isn't a matter of you being attacked for your culture. You simply have shitty customer service and were called out in it. End of story. read more

I was going to say I don't wanna give a review because I don't spend much time in the store, but that's exactly why I've decided to give a review, as well as a 5-starred one. I come in, the employees quickly - but not rushedly - get all the necessary info from me surrounding my parcel, are accommodating of my wishes, and then send me and my parcel on our respective ways. They're responsive, but not in my face. They're competent, but not show offs about it. From all those I've experienced (which is indeed at least a few), the employees are just a bunch of really solid workers as well as people. I enjoy my visits, and am looking forward to visiting again today to send off yet another parcel. Damn ... UPS! Who knew?! read more

most of the employees are very professional, friendly and greet you as you walk in except for one employee she a skinny young girl very rude I've been their and she seems to be always in a bad mood she talks to customers as if she is doing us a favor.. i work and live in Austin came to Denton to visit a friend and decided to mail a package while in town to Oklahoma the thing is it got sent back i was never informed i gave them my Austin address as requested and of course my number as well 3 weeks went by and i was told by my friend that they never received the package so i did some tracking and nothing came up. i called the ups store and they said it was sent to i waited a few more weeks and still nothing so i after a month of waiting i went back to visit my friend in Denton i decided to stop my the store cuz i need to mail a small package while i was their again and remembered about the packaged i'd sent before if it wasn't that asked and was trying to track my package and asked more question regarding where my package was cuz i never got it returned to my address did the guy say o i thin we have here. i told him so if i'd never stopped by you guys would have had it seating on the shelf all this time i paid for the service at list have the curtesy of letting me know by cellphone that it was returned . yall ask for my address and cellphone and not bother to call me. i said why ask for my address if its returned why didnt yall mail it to m y address he says o no it gets returned to our store i told him but i told you am passing thru i dont live here ' he says you would still have to come pick it up here we dont send them to your address if it gets returned. boy was i pist. got my package and left. at list the regular mail send our packages out and if returned brings it back to our house not UPS thats messed up. read more
