Im engaged, and dropped in to ship my engagement ring to our jeweler so that they could ensure the custom band fit properly. This location is not exactly close to my house, but it was close to my business meetings for the day, so winner winner chicken dinner, this was the UPS location I chose. I came with a set of strict instructions from the jeweler to maintain the insurance on my package. While this location was unable to accommodate since they didn't carry that exact boxes requested, Steve was super accommodating and pointed me in the direction of the location that would be able to assist. I appreciate the guidance, which saved me from aimlessly roaming Houston in search of this specific box. I can't explain the other negative reviews but I just had two positive experiences in a row here. The first was returning Direct TV equipment when I cut the cord to save money. The guy there knew exactly what to do and processed me out in a few minutes and gave me the receipt with the good advice to hang on to it for a while. At the same time I was there, another customer needed a bunch of packing popcorn, so much that he was going to have to buy like 20 bags pf the amount the site sold in regular bags. The guys there said, we have an answer. They brought out a massive bag and said how about this? Now the guy only needed to get maybe five bags instead. The whole time I was there these guys helped everyone with smiles on their faces and had a great attitude. And this was with crazy busy traffic; it's nonstop in the place. I was back a week later for another return of a large item. It was a set of blinds that were too small so I had to ship them back. The seller had shipped them in the manufacturer's box, but the return instructions said I could not do the same, which frankly is pretty rude. I asked the UPS Store guys if they had a box that could fit the item. They did but the box was about $20, which would have ended up being the same as the value of the return. The guys there sympathized with my situation and actually recommended that we ship it back exactly the way it was sent to me. That way if it was accepted then no harm done. If the seller denied the refund because it wasn't in a separate box then I would break even since the extra box would have cost the same as the refund value. It was really nice actually, that the crew there seemed like they were on my side and tried to help. read more

Would go lower if I could. I recommend FedEx over UPS. Service here is terrible, nobody really seems to know the shipping rules and filling out all the paperwork to ship is horrendous when you need to ship more than one box. read more

This UPS store is the worst I've ever been to, their customer service is the worst I've ever seen. I called and spoke to a boy named Ethan who told me one second he could do something and said no the second and handed me off to the manager who spoke in a very condescending voice and talked to me like I was an idiot. I've had a mailbox there before it became a UPS store and have always been treated great there. Now with new owner it is a well run store and friendly. Never seen a unfriendly employee and also understand that it can be difficult dealing with customers especially in certain rush time of xmas season. Great Place and convenient location. read more

I was in the store today, while there a male employee was extremely rude to another customer and to an employee. He was saying things like "Well don't take so long logging the package then!" When the employee was in the middle of helping the customer log a package, he even went over and closed it out before she was done logging it. The new management has not been the greatest either! Every employee is rude and nasty to customers and to each other! Only one employee seemed happy to be there and help... I think her name is Amy. I hope the owner gets in there and fixes these problems because that store has been going down hill since July of 2014... If nothing is fixed I hope they lose business and are forced to shut the doors for good. read more

Not sure why there are poor reviews at this location. If I could give it 10 stars I would. The staff is always super courteous and helpful. With Amazon free returns and an online shopping addiction, I stop by here almost once a week. I went a couple weeks ago to deliver a package and my friend still hasn't received it so I called them yesterday because I didn't have my tracking number and the lady was very rude and said "call back in 20 minutes because I'm helping other people". I guess no one else was available to talk to me but if they were busy she should have atleast put me on hold or something. I ended up not calling back until today and the lady that helped me was just as rude. Her voice was different so it was another lady giving me attitude for no reason. She kept sighing like she was annoyed with me.She ended up finding my tracking number but not after being rude and saying stuff like "I'll try to look for it but I can't guarantee anything". This ups needs to train their staff on proper phone etiquette. This ups is closest to me but after this I'm taking my services somewhere else. read more

Not impressed with the service I received. As we walked in the service rep, Natasha made eye contact but refused to say hello. I placed my box of AT&T equipment on the counter and I said, "I have an equipment return." I was not expecting a response but what I got was a sigh and an eye roll. Throughout the process of the return Natasha was short and unfriendly. As she placed my receipt in front of me she said, "Sign this.... and take your empty box." I signed and asked politely if she wouldn't mind throwing it away for me. She responded "We don't have any room." I took my box and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more
