I very rarely write reviews of this kind, but my experience at this location the other day was so terrible that I practically feel compelled to. I have honestly received great service here a couple of times in the past, but this location has the lowest average score of any UPS in the area for good reason. It's very hit and miss depending on who is behind the desk, and sadly the person behind the desk on Thursday was a rude, bitter, and condescending elderly gentleman. For some reason, I was not sent a QR code for the item I wanted to return, just a shipping label. He told me to send it to an email address that he gave me, so I did. "No, not the email itself, take a screenshot," he said. I did so, but then apparently it wasn't big enough to print, which of course I should have known considering I had never done this before, and then he seemed very irritated to have to reprint it again. If you are this horrendous at customer service, then go find a new line of work. He just seemed so negative and miserable that I felt sorry for him in the end. read more

I needed to return an amazon package with a return barcode. Really could not have had an easier experience. I've noticed some low star reviews and just wanted to share that I dealt with professional staff who were able to get my package returned quickly and were both very polite. My husband comes here a bunch and has never had any issues either. If anything, it's almost always packed during lunch time which is a good sign. The store is clean and well kept! read more

My girlfriend ordered me a Christmas gift we needed to pick up at this location. At the counter one of the employees (average height tan man with an Eastern European accent) was immediately being extremely rude for no reason. I gave him my ID because that was the name it was under. He looks for like two seconds and says we are mistaken then tells my girlfriend to calm down for saying we were at the correct location. He gets even more rude and loud then looks again and of course he finds the box after putting in an ounce of effort. I scolded him for being rude and a moron who can't read apparently and we went about our day. I don't want to have to have a combative experience just to pick up a delivery. I love this location so much. They are always so nice and helpful! I brought in a maternity pillow that didn't require a box and they said they wouldn't be able to fit it in their Amazon boxes but said they'd pay for it to be boxed and shipped for me. I WISH I could leave a negative star. I went into this store today (3/2/19)Saturday at about 11:00am. Upon walking in I instantly noticed the store was unkept. I kept walking up to the front counter and I notice that there is only 1 person "working" and he is asleep. Yes, you read right, ASLEEP. Packages everywhere, phone continuously ringing and I'm watching him sleep, face down. I'm was so shocked I began recording. Another customer walks in (and the door dinged) and the worker still did not wake up. The second customer had to go around the corner to yell to get him to wake up. And he finally jumped up. This is a MAJOR liability. Anyone could have easily walked in and picked up the packages lying around. I walked out, taking my package that I needed to ship WITH me. One of the staff is extremely rude . I believe he is a manager. (White gentleman /little overweight) He forgot to put suite number on address although I reminded him . I didn't see that on my receipt so I came back to get it fixed . He told I was lucky cause he would normally charge twice since order was confirmed once . Horrible! Avoid at all costs! I came in to send back some receivers to AT&T & both the workers were rude. The man that helped me just asked "what's your account number?" I thought he was referring to A UPS account number. So I said "I just need to return these boxes to AT&T." He sarcastically retorted, "your account with AT&T". Avoid this location at all costs. I've had a box at this location for a few years. It's been increasingly awful. Packages are often left unattended or unsecured all over the store. I've had several cards with money pilfered from them. This Christmas they said they never received an expensive package that FedEx provided proof of delivery for. Just recently they said they never received a package filled with medication tgat STAT medical curruer claims was delivered. The owner accepted no responsibility. When I return to Dallas in the next few months, I will be changing UPS locations. read more

Carl was friendly and efficient. What more can you expect. Parking was easy. Place was clean.

This store does a fine job. I look at the reviews and all I can come up with is people don't get how busy these places get. There is never a time I go in there to pick up or drop off my packages and the counter isn't 3 to 6 people deep. They've always been kind and as efficient as possible when dealing with me. If you look behind the counter it's easy to see the volume of packages clearly exceeds the size of the store. So it stands to reason it may take a few minutes to wade through the piles of boxes to find your one package. I've dealt with these stores for years so I know that going in. The only thing I can complain about is minor. They're email notification system is simply not good. That's not all that important to me because I use apps to track my packages anyway. Overall this is a good store with good people. The people are overworked and from what I've seen they're not given the respect we all deserve. If you lead with attitude you'll likely get attitude in return. It takes time to process a package to make sure it gets where it needs to go. So when I have outgoing packages I set aside a little extra time for their process. In over 20 years of shipping with UPS, I can count on one hand the number of problems I've had. I like this store and I'm glad my box is there! read more

Glenn at the 6119 Greenville Avenue Dallas, TX store was phenomenal. He was so sincere and helpful. Also sensitive to my needs. Amazing customer service. I had never shipped a painting and did so with UPS, having them pack and ship. It was a painting my mother had painted, and it was so reassuring that Glenn could tell how much the painting meant to me. I felt I was in good hands with him. Unfortunately, I live right across the street, so every time I miss a package it gets delivered to this location. I've been pretty easygoing when met with a negative attitude from a team member (not every team member, some are really nice), but recently there was an incident that was the last straw for me. I received a tracking # from the vendor that I ordered from and it was being tracked by UPS. I received a notice that my package had been routed to a center because I was not at my apartment, and that directions had been left for me. There were no directions, so I headed over to this location and asked for them to track my package. Unfortunately for me, the package had actually been delivered by USPS (the worst! It all made since why this was such a shit show) and taken to one of their facilities. The team member offered to re-route the package to this UPS location. FYI, to anyone reading, as a receiver of a package, you cannot re-route a package from USPS to UPS. Why I was told I could do this by a UPS team member, I have NO idea. After a few phone calls, I have been informed that my package is gone forever. UPS/USPS, you've let me down once again. read more

What a joke! How is this place in business? Unfortunately, I live right across the street and this UPS is easy to pop in and out of when I need to do some shipping. Each time I go in the staff is very short and unfriendly but after my last visit I'll be sure to take my business out there. I walked in on a slow afternoon with nobody else in the store and the clerk didnt even look up from scanning packages and texting on his phone. Finally, I was like excuse me I just need to drop off a package, it already has the label. Then he rudely replied "SO DROP IT OFF!" I wanted a receipt because I didn't trust this jerk-off to actually do his job so I wanted to make sure I had the tracking confirmation on it and as he huffed and puffed during his 2 steps to the register, he still didnt look up at me. They in turn create a subsidiary bailment when they pass the package to the shipper (for a portion of the fee they collected from their customer). When a bailment is created, so is a corresponding responsibility. Nobody at the UPS Store upheld their responsibility until I talked to headquarters. They could have immediately taken care of this on their own in one of two ways: 1) Admitted that the package was damaged by them before handing off to the shipper and then promptly reimburse me for the damage without hassling me. 2) Defended themselves to the shipper that the package was properly packed when it was picked up and therefor force the shipper to reimburse me for my loss. It's all moot now. I finally have satisfaction and the public has been warned. Case closed. read more

From Staples(I declined dropping my package at Staples because I was advised that my package wouldn't leave until Monday) parking lot I called UPS and asked for the time of the latest pick up. They said "We close at 6:30." I said ok looked up at my iPhone and realized that I have just enough time to get there if I pass up my husband's house and hot foot it. I hauled ass and got there at 6:28 PM Friday evening. The driver was already loading. I felt good surely my package was off and running. Just for grins I tracked my package. It didn't leave Dallas until 12:58 AM Saturday morning? Huh? It sat in the Dallas UPS Store for 6 Hours? It got to Oklahoma City, OK 5 hours later at 5:04 AM, Saturday morning? And there it's still sitting SATURDAY and SUNDAY? UPS should follow me in my old rickety 2000 Dodge van and take notes on "Hauling Ass." PS I called UPS this morning and found out that my package did leave the Greenville Ave Dallas store, and he drove it to a different UPS hub in Dallas: 10155 Monroe and Walnut Hill 75229 that operates 8-7:30PM M-F, no Sat and No Sun. At 12:58 it left the Dallas hub and got to UPS in OK City, OK at 5:04AM and there it is still sitting and it tis 10:47AM Monday morning. At 12:29 Monday it left OK City, OK and at 5:21 PM it arrived in Salina, KS, and left Salina, KS at 7:01 PM and arrived in Omaha, NE at 11:13 PM and was out on the Omaha, NE truck at 1:14 AM.
