I am utterly frustrated and disappointed with UPS. A parcel sent from France to my parents' house in Arlington arrived on 6th December, but it was only scheduled for delivery at 8:54 AM this morning. My parents waited until 11:30 AM, and it never arrived. Despite repeated attempts to contact UPS, no assistance was provided. We could not reach the driver, nor could we get clear guidance on collecting the parcel from the depot. The lack of communication and support is completely unacceptable. This failure has caused significant inconvenience. The parcel was supposed to arrive before my parents' flight to Lebanon so they could bring it with them. Now, I am forced to pay for shipping from the USA to Lebanon because UPS could not deliver on their promise. I am extremely disappointed with this level of service. UPS has proven to be unreliable, unhelpful, and completely frustrating. I will never use this service again and cannot recommend it under any circumstances. read more

This is a good UPS! I went in today at 6pm and there were parking spots (and an underground garage), and I was the only one in the store so I was in and out within just a few minutes. I was able to complete my amazon returns using QR code's on my phone. read more

Went to ship a document overnight and they said the charge was over $100 for delivery in the morning or $75 for end of day. They also said that due to Covid they cannot guarantee delivery on time. Just wanted to say what a fantastic experience i had today at ups. I needed to ship a desktop pc for repairs. The young guy at the counter(didnt catch his name) was able to professionally pack the computer, tape it up, and get it sent out asap. This UPS team will make you forget that FedEx exists- I spend under 3 minutes here every single trip because they are lightning fast and friendly as hell. I literally hand these guys a disheveled opened package and ask them to "send it to mom and dad" - they grab it, tape it (for free no-less!) and it's done!!! Probably the most disappointing experience ever. Mailed our Christmas cards from here and was upcharged 12 c per stamp! Ridiculous! Didn't realize until I had already paid. It's a quick and painless transaction every time I go - except for paying the shipping on heavier packages, that's gotten steep. But still, service is so good, you can hardly complain. Worst UPS store in the country !!!!!! I had to walk out of this location, the smell is so bad, you'll have to wash your clothes when you get home. It smells like they eat submarine sandwiches, all day long, and throw half of them in the trash, and leave the trash in the can for weeks. Combine that with the putrid smell of stale cigarette butts in coke cans, sitting for days, and you may loose your lunch while standing in line listening to the help berate the customer infant of you. I'm positive the guys working there haven't taken a shower or changed their clothes in days. I'll gladly drive many miles out of my way so I never have to go to this location again. The help here truly gives you the attitude that they could care less about the customer or the store. I think I'll just use Fedex !! read more

This is the closest UPS to my house so I wish I had a better experience because I would be here all the time but unfortunately I won't be going back. My work/business requires me to get documents notarized often and when I have gone in, the staff have been extremely rude and visibly irritated by having to notarize multiple documents for me. I needed one witness for a document and they told me I was "not allowed" to ask other customers (other UPS/FedEx stores are always accommodating and help me find a witness to sign the document). I also had to scan a few papers and they acted frustrated when they had to help me with the machine. Every time I go in there, they help other customers before me and try to hurry me. Thankfully I have found two other UPS locations that are more than accommodating and helpful! read more

This store is great (friendly, clean, etc.) until your guaranteed package does not arrive on time. Then, good luck getting a refund. You call UPS national and they say that the refund is not their responsibility because you were actually dealing with a franchisee, NOT UPS. UPS can only send you a PART of the refund....even though the package was GUARANTEED. Eventually, they did send us a PARTIAL refund, and advised us to go to the store to get the balance--if we could "talk the store owner into it." The agent actually told us not to call the store owner to get a refund. The agent emphasized that we had to go in person and show the receipt to the store owner and check to see "if they will refund you any of this amount." She said, "They really don't have to at all." They repeatedly "explained" that the local stores are independent business---not really UPS-owned stores. Therefore, UPS could only give us a partial refund for its HORRIBLE delivery performance. I believe the public has the right to know that these stores are only franchises even though the sign and everything else has the UPS logo on it. I will forever go to FedEx in the future. Besides that, the packaging is FREE at FEDEX, and not at UPS stores (that are not really UPS). You ship here at your own risk. Friendly is great, but I would rather get a refund when the service doesn't work. It took UPS a week to deliver a package that was GUARANTEED to be there in three days. So, BUYER BEWARE. Just know that you are taking a risk every time you ship with one of these franchise stores. UPDATE: I just read the store owner's remarks. They make no sense. We NEVER spoke to the store owner about this issue. We spoke to the national office repeatedly, and they had to "find' where the package was. After all of those conversations, we just chalked it up to "lesson learned." We accepted the partial refund (totally unfair & disgusting), and wanted to be done with the whole thing. We dropped it at that point. We were NOT going to spend time going to the store, personally, and throw ourselves on the mercy of the store owner to "see if he would refund anything" ( UPS agent's words). It was not enough money to do anything that onerous. It was not just the money. It was the principle of the matter. We paid for a service that we did not receive. We spent HOURS on the phone with UPS and the frantic employee trying to rectify the situation....which, of course, was a fruitless activity. The trade show presentation was completely ruined when the package never arrived until everyone had gone back home. If the box (fairly large) hadn't been totally lost for a while, we never would have known about the flakey UPS refund process, and the fact that the stores are just franchises. The store owner must have us confused with someone else. I don't even know if they knew about the debacle. My husband never spoke to them, either, about the lost/ very late package OR the partial refund. BTW, the package was sent to a trade show, and arrived when the show was over, and the person had checked out of the hotel. It was difficult to have it returned. It became our responsibility. We had to work it out with the Hotel manager, who really didn't want to bother with it. UPS refused to accept responsibility to get it back to us. It was a completely "twilight zone" experience. HUGE amount of time, effort and AGGRAVATION. FedEx, in our experience, is VERY different once a problem occurs. Both FedEx and USPS ( and other less well known carriers) have always given a TOTAL refund when they fail to get things delivered on time. AND, they get the package back to you in this kind of circumstance. read more

The guys who work here are awesome! I was shipping a large package and tried to pack it myself and did a horrible job and had accidentally bought too big of a box. For $8, they got me a new box that was way stronger and smaller and offered to repackage everything. It ended up being cheaper for me because the box was smaller and they promised me they would make sure it was packed so nothing would get broken. These guys know what they're doing and have some great customer service skills. Despite it being a little difficult to access due to the location and traffic, I would recommend using these guys. read more

As I was driving up, I called and asked if someone would not mind running out to grab the package. Awful place. We sent something perishable overnight to arrive by Christmas Eve for my father. I bought 1.5 lbs of dry ice which was well below the minimum of 5 lbs. they mislabeled the amount of dry ice in it and they sent it back to Dallas. They told me over the phone "oops rookie mistake." There are no checks and balances in this place to ensure they are doing things right and completely ruined a gift for the holidays. And if a "rookie" can't handle inputting things into a computer they shouldn't work at a place where people depend on you to get things done to get somewhere on time. read more

Recently I had a package diverted to this UPS store because I was not at home to collect it. I rang for directions and the employee on the phone was helpful, patient, and thoughtful with offering landmarks. When I arrived to the store, I was quickly and pleasantly helped with a smile. The employee quickly identified my package and verified my ID before handing it off to me. I had additional questions about the store's services and she was (again) patient and informative. The store was clean and organized. I have absolutely no complaints.
