I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at UPS Store #3275. I have been a loyal UPS customer for years and frequently visit the location near my home, where I always receive friendly, efficient service. Unfortunately, my recent experience at Store #3275 was the complete opposite and left me extremely disappointed. While running errands in the area, I decided to drop off two prepaid packages at this location. Upon entering the store, the associate greeted me with an eye roll and an unprofessional tone, asking, "For drop-off, how can I help you?" I explained that both packages already had shipping labels attached but needed a strip of tape across the top to secure them. I was informed that there would be a $1 charge per box for the tape. I politely asked if this was store policy, as I have never been charged for a small piece of tape at any other UPS location. The associate responded rudely, but I went ahead and paid the fee and received a receipt. When I asked for a shipping receipt, I was told in a condescending tone that I had already been given one. After clarifying that I needed the drop-off/shipping confirmation, the associate responded curtly before finally providing it. This experience was unprofessional, unpleasant, and far below the level of service I've come to expect from UPS. I will not be returning to this location and will continue to use my usual store, UPS Store #5252, where customer service is consistently excellent. I went in needing to ship a box to my daughter. I told the man working that I needed to buy a box and showed him what size from an example of another box. He brought out a box twice a size. I told him it was too big and he said just try it and proceeded to tape up the bottom. After I loaded it, there was still plenty of room. But I had to use it anyway. He then told me it would be $58 to ship. When I went to pay for it, the total said over $70. When I questioned this, he said the box was 12.99. I would've never bought the box had I known it was 12.99. He never said anything, and he quickly taped it up giving me no choice. When I told him that he said you wanted to buy a box, I'm sure you knew how expensive it was because you didn't want us to pack it for you. What does that even mean? Also, who the heck charges $13 for a small box? It's absolutely ridiculous and the last time I'll ever go there! read more

The customer service at this location is absolutely awful. The woman behind the counter has been rude to me and my husband multiple times for simply doing normal things that the UPS store is meant for - like Amazon returns. It seems as if we are somehow inconveniencing the staff for simply existing. I really wish that I could use FedEx or other companies for returns, but unfortunately UPS seems to have all of the major contracts with Amazon and others. Today, we noticed that they have set up a self-serve kiosk for Amazon returns, which is completely chaotic. It easily took us double the amount of time to figure it out vs. just having the staff help us. There was a different woman there (maybe a supervisor?) who was equally rude and condescending. I went to this place for sent package to Korea. This place was far from my area but I was going to north park center and stopped by here. I give 5star at this place only reason is Robert who helped me out yesterday. He was amazing kindly while he took care of my issues. I had a lot of questions and he looked for me and explained everything very well. This place was very busy but I thought every post office is busy at these days. I was bit uncomfortable with long line before. This place is working only 2person with a lot of customers. There is NO customer service here. I was used to the awesome customer service I experienced at a UPS store in Houston, so after moving, I was happy when I saw this nearby UPS store. UPS stores are individually owned / managed franchises. I'm not sure who is over this UPS location, but they apparently don't care about customer service. I have a box here. At times when I have a lot of packages, I have to ask for assistance carrying them even when no other customers are in the store. And good luck getting your package if FedEx notifies you that it was delivered, BUT the UPS worker has not "scanned it into their system" yet. They do seem short staffed, but that is no excuse for the workers' often dismissive attitude. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have purchased a box at a different location. read more

Well, it should be no surprise. I didn't get her name, but I bet is Belinda. She's got major problems, talks to people like crap, but gets upset when you respond in the same manner. I had read the reviews previously, about her demeanor but I had no have the chance to meet her until today. As a healthcare professional I said she has anger issues, probably her parents or significant other treated her or still treat her like crap So, now she thinks is okay to treat others in the same manner. I will continue going there and treating her the same way she treats me, because that's is what she is asking for and not going to inconvenience myself going further, maybe next time I will video and start posting online. I did made it a point to tell how she is infamous on yelp with a lot bad review and that pissed her off ever more; I invite everyone to do the same. I rarely give reviews but I want to let everyone know this store has the WORST service EVER. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They do not help their costumers. They don't even greet you or speak in a friendly manner. The employees are lazy and do not care about your package. They will just stare at you without common sense. The employees look like they hate their job and they should have chosen another career pathway. I work in costumer service and even if I'm fed up I at least try my best to help the costumer out. I've been a box holder/customer for over 10 years and just now seeing some of these scathing reviews. I can tell you that they are most likely bs. The real underlying issue is the sense of entitlement some of my neighborhood inhabitants possess. While the Belinda drama may have a hint of truth, all current employees/owner are the nicest most helpful individuals I've encountered in the mail scene. All it takes is a trip to the local post office to remind you why UPS is a service well worth the extra couple of bucks. read more

The WORST UPS store in DALLAS. I kid you not. Wow. I personally don't think I ever even met someone as rude as Belinda, the lady behind the counter. She will actually yell at you, and leave your packages right there on the counter and walk into the back. She doesn't greet you AT ALL when you walk in or even come up front and tell you to hold on. The store is very clean and tidy and welcoming for the guests who enter. Since this was my first time at this location, it was nice to see a very tidy and clean place for business. While the store is a bit compact, it's organized well for such a size. On the flip side, the customer service was very poor. The lady tending the store was sitting off to the side and on the phone when I entered. While I don't expect drop-everything-and-run service, I do expect mindful employees who acknowledge your presence and care that you're patronizing the store. This woman didn't even finish her conversation on the phone before trying to assist me. I understand that people multi-task, but she was not doing it well. I had to repeat information several times because she wasn't listening well. I'll come back to be sure, but I hope it's better next time. :/ read more

Stopped into today needing a notary signature on a doc. I phoned ahead of time to check on price. $6 per stamp. A man walked in before me by 3 steps, he went straight to a rental postal box and had just turned the key to open it as I passed him walking another 6 feet to the counter. The attendant was doing something with a plastic wrap behind the counter. I said HELLO, they acknowledge me. I said " I need a notary signature". I heard an "ugh". The attendant said, OK..just a minute as he put down the plastic he was handling. The attendant moved closer to the counter and closer to the man that was walking up. At that time the man who had been at his postal box walked around the tall mailbox wall so the attendant could see him, this is the 1st. time the man spoke to the attendant. The attendant said something back to the guy, grabbed a slip of printed out paper out of his hands with a large printed number on it and proceed to go into a back room for a few minutes rummaging thru boxes and packages.. until coming out with a package for the guy. Who took it and was on his way. I confronted the attendant, asking why his service request was done before mine since I had already asked and was 1st to communicate with him what I needed. By over a few minutes, I asked why did he make me wait, while taking care of the other guy? He said, the other guy was there 1st, I said he was in the door first but stopped at his postal box to retrieve his mail. i had been the first to the counter and first to request a service. He then said, well it didn't take long to look for his package. I said, if you had asked me before hand if I could wait while you service your "preferred customer before me" that would have been the time to ask. If I had the time to wait around. Was it because he was Mexican, and the attendant was also Latin? And I am not, certainly the preferred customer his time was more important than mine was. Taking care of a "regular customer before other customers that were waiting and were 1st in line and had requested service before them". STINKS!! WHICH BRINGS ME TO THE NEXT ISSUE,, this place has always stunk, and they treat "not postal box renters" as 2nd class citizens that can wait as long as they have to. They often take a very long time to even acknowledge your presence when you enter. I have used this UPS location for over 30 yrs. The customer service has always been just a slight bit off. Like their doing you a supreme favor. The workers act like it's a pain to help you, rarely are friendly and often help their regular (postal box renters) before they help anyone else. Very odd, unfair and not nice people. I try to avoid this location, parking is a nightmare and the management offers no responsibility or customer service help just attitude when you discuss issues. So, I had a ginormous crate of binders full of crucial documents that weighed about 200 pounds. I was advised that it was too heavy to ship. A very helpful employee (Sean) helped me out big time. He sold me boxes and waterproofing material to package my documents carefully in smaller boxes. I'm serious, he was a lifesaver. Great service. I would come back here in a heartbeat. If we could give a scaled rating this place would really get ZERO STARS for customer service. It would rate high on location but that's about it. I went in to do an Amazon return and there were several people ahead of me. Not sure how long they had been waiting. The "problem" was a serious language barrier between the employee and the customer. The customer was of Middle Eastern heritage and the employee kept speaking to him in Spanish. The customer kept saying in broken English I don't understand and responding in his native language. The employee was clearly having a bad day and he made matters worse for all of us by the way he was being rude to the customer. The customer also quite frustrated called his friend to translate the rapid fire questions this nit wit employee kept throwing at him. The employee-from this point known as the nit wit- was even ruder to the person on the phone! Just prior to this the nit with went ahead and charged him the highest amount because he didn't want to speak to the translator. The translator clearly said Ground was fine as there was no reason, other than just plain spite and stupidity on the nit wits part, for the charge to have been $38.00 2-Day Air for a no rush package. The package contained a t-shirt and in broken English the customer tried to find the word for it and was pointing to his own shirt. However, the nit wit says, "You don't know what's in the box? Kind of suspicious don't you think?" He looked at us as he said it thinking he would get agreement and none of did! In fact, we all shook our hewds no and I loudly said, "A language barrier IS NOT SUSPICIOUS!" The nit wit didn't respond. The customer paid and left. Probably feeling ashamed and hurt at the mistreatment. I know I felt it for him! Once it was my turn to send my return, the nit wit started asking me stupid questions and I stated Amazon return and all you need to do is scan it and give me a receipt! Yes, I said it with an attitude because my nice well was empty and I had broken through the bottom! I was so angry I wanted to punch the nit wit in the face! I refrained and decided to Yelp about it. I tried calling every number found on the UPS website to report this nit wit and nothing but automated responses and if you don't have a tracking number it hangs up on you! So, UPS apparently doesn't care about good customer service even on the phone! If I have to go back to this location, and the nit wit is on duty, y'all are gonna have to have a UYE Bail Party! Do yourself a favor and go to Fed-Ex Kinkos and Lovers and Inwood. My 83 yr old father went to this UPS Store at Midway and NW HWY with a box of family memorabilia he was shipping to his great grandaughter in California. He came home shocked at a price of $98 for ground shipping. I was floored too. I went straight back to the store, where I asked about the charges and was curtly explained this is the packaging and this is the shipping. I said I know that...why so much? She failed trying to explain. I asked for the package as well as our money back and mentioned I would go to Fed-Ex instead. She welcomed me to do just that. Thankfully I did too. After being greeted nicely at the Fed-Ex store the employee kindly helped arrange for shipping and packaged the memorabilia safely and securely. I mentioned to her the poor treatment I got at the UPS Storeir and explained how shockingly high their price was. The fed-ex employee laughed once she totaled the price. She stated "it appears they WERE shockingly high". The price for Fed-Ex Ground Shipping and packaging was 60% less at $40.96!!! That was a CRAZY difference not to mention how much nicer they were at the Fed-Ex location. So please if in the Preston Hollow area, do yourself a favor and go to Fed-Ex at Inwood and Lovers. I came to this store to ship a large package to Minnesota. It was a very large 21" by 18" box, the total was around $50.00 and it will arrive by Christmas. Right before ahead of me in line, I witnessed a guy around the age of 80 who wanted to ship one platter to Oregon and the UPS worker charged him $226.00 for it to arrive for Christmas. This platter was maybe 12" by 9", not big at all. The UPS man told him it was so much because of the packaging. I wish I would've intervened because they took advantage of this man. read more

I wrote this review, and it was taken down, apparently because I gave this store a 5-star rating so I am reposting with a 4 star. Let me be clear that's the only reason I am giving them a 4 and not a 5. I normally don't review companies; however, I witnessed a woman in this location being extremely condescending to the young lady working here. I am at a UPS, FedEX and USPS location daily. It always amazes me how the customers act in all of these locations. I have read just a few comments about this location which I find completely ridiculous. First of all, I have NEVER experienced anything but friendly professional people who work here. I am a box holder at the Preston/Royal location & since it was damaged by the Tornado that hit last year, all of my mail and packages are rerouted to the NW Hwy location. I have witnessed multiple people almost every day ( not the employees ) being rude and short tempered. It amazes me that the majority that come through the doors are not prepared at all to do business. Not prepared with names, addresses or zip codes etc. Maybe if YOU came in prepared, YOU wouldn't get so rattled & take it out on the employees. Common sense. The level of entitlement is mind blowing especially during COVID. So, I personally would like to thank each person at this store for ALWAYS being nothing but professional and extending great customer service. read more

I had a pre-paid shipping box that I needed to drop off and I needed a 2" piece of tape to close it with and they wanted to charge me .50 cents. What a crock! Cheap cheap cheap! Never again. Came here to ship a TV to Florida. Tv was in box and had never been opened. Was told the box was not suitable for shipping (even though there was a manufacturer shipping label on it. The quote to ship and pack was $310! I asked how much was the actual shipping - $70. How can it cost $240 for a box! Find another store, this one is terrible! read more

Unbelievable! I stopped in to get copies made and when the guy told me it would be $25 to copy one 26 page document I was in shock! It cost .89 cents to get copies at UPS. Wish I checked Staples (.02cents) and Office Depot (.11cents). I would have saved more than $22!!! UPS is a rip off. I agree with other reviewers - Poor customer service. read more

Horrible customer service! I went there to ship a package to Connecticut to my son in the Navy for his Birthday. I spent over 60 (160 to get it there in 2 days!) dollars to ship it to a P.O. Box (didn't dawn on me because I had been shipping US Postal Service lately), they took my money and when the driver tried to deliver, stated he needed an apartment number. When asking my son, he said that no one in the office had even seen a UPS delivery truck trying to attempt a delivery. Not sure what happened but the response I got back from the store was what prompted this review. Shawn was nothing short of rude, he could care less about the situation, when I asked if I could have my money back, he simply sated "no and it will be another 60.00 to re-send it". It was like a slap in the face, you could tell he could care less! When I walked out of the door, he said "Have a nice day"!
