I've made a habit of using this particular store location for several reasons. The ease of parking is a big plus, the facility is always orderly and clean and being a business owner, i appreciate first and foremost, great customer service. Victor and the associate with the long hair in a ponytail NEED to be terminated. He rolled his eyes at me at asking if there open on Sundays. Why do they keep employees like this that are destroying their business. The long hair ponytail guy that he does more than Victor he goes every day to pick up the mail at the post office, as Victor is drunk most of the time. Needless to say, I would never go there again. Great, smooth experience. I see that the reviews are polarizing. However I had a great service with them on a Sunday morning. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, particularly Quentin. He made the process of returning an item smooth and painless for the the service requested. The interior is pretty spacious, and the parking is ample. Easy to come in and ship off a package, especially for Amazon returns where you only need to bring the item you are returning. Very quick service and friendly staff. Will come back when I have something I need shipped. Only complaint is the small parking lot shared with other establishments in the strip can make it hard to find parking. read more

I walked in the store about two minutes before closing time with some Amazon returns. The gentleman who helped me (I believe the name was Quentin) was courteous even though it was a minute before closing and I had to locate the QR codes for the three return returns . He helped me complete the returns, got the receipts printed and I was off on my way. Typically, you get a bit of attitude when you walk into a business at closing time, , but not in this case. Never use UPS if its coming from near this location. The delivery drivers won't even attempt to drop packages off, they just sit in their trucks and mark it as failed to deliver, then you have to waste an hour going to the store to pick it up. Avoid this UPS if you can, especially for Amazon returns. They do not understand the concept of 'no box, no label' Amazon returns and will try to sell you boxes to fit your returns into. I've been to at least a dozen other UPS, Kohl's and Whole Foods stores for returns, and they have never had issue like this one. In addition, the returns I did drop off (with proper boxes) did not even get scanned/shipped (label still shows as 'created' but not accepted or in transit) so I am not sure what they have even done with my packages. Also, the manager needs to learn to wear a face mask - wearing it just to cover the mouth does absolutely nothing. It's strange, given the other negative responses on here about how masks are required for customers, yet the staff doesn't even wear them correctly. read more

In addition to being incredibly well located, this UPS Store is a great neighborhood community member and a downright good business. Let's start with the easy stuff. This UPS Store is located right on Cedar Springs in the heart of "The Strip." Couldn't get much more convenient for a pretty large population. Their selection and staff are all fantastic. I've used this location many times to make shipments or even just to send Amazon returns and have always had excellent service. In addition, however, what really impresses me is that this UPS Store is an excellent member of the community and participates in local events. As an example, on more than one occasion, this has been a stop on the Cedar Springs Wine Walk, a fun local event to interact with local businesses. They took it a step further once, even, and paired it with a pet rescue event at their business. How cool. I highly recommend using this UPS Store as a great business and as one of a dwindling number of businesses that consider themselves part of the local community. read more

Customer service here has been great the last couple times I've been. One time I returned Amazon stuff and the other was ATTT stuff and both times, I was in and out the door within 2-3 mins. Nice! Although the parking lot is small and can be congested at times, once you find (squeeze into) a parking spot, you'll be in and out of here in minutes. The only reason I go to this store is because it's the closest one in my neighborhood but VICTOR, the guy that's usually there....his attitude is horrendous. He acts like he doesn't want to be there and if that's the case then just quit and give the job to someone who really cares about service and helping people. He talks to you like you're a dog. One time I went in there for an Amazon drop off, he was there with another employee. The other employee was helping another customer but his line was open so I went to his line. He looks up and says "I can't help you I'm busy right now I'm doing something on the computer".......okay....rude. The other employee looked over at him sideways then looked at me and said she'd help me in just a minute. Even she knew Victor's attitude is trash. I had a hectic time moving and getting some boxes shipped. Victor Valdez was amazing and totally came to our rescue! He stayed open a little late for us... and gave me some very good advice about how to save money when shipping. He quickly unloaded very heavy boxes from both of our vehicles with a smile on his face and when I realized I had come to the UPS store without my credit card he took my boxes to ship and let me call in my credit card number the next day to pay for it! Then, when I got to my destination, my boxes arrived immediately! Only then did I realize that although I could only afford the slowest shipping speed, Victor had somehow upgraded me. Lindsay always has my love she is a joy to work with every single time I come in there however the General Manager Victor needs severe training on how to treat his staff and customers! After speaking with the owners after an altercation with Victor,I have nothing but love for the environment they create and have the utmost respect. I've always had pleasant experiences at this location but today I was trying to understand a package I was sending with multiple items with a additional label inside and the associate got frustrated he was having to explain to me multiple times and said he is not going to keep explaining to me if I'm not going to listen. I didn't realize wanting to understand and making sure the customer knows the process was a problem, it actually seems like it's his job role to make sure I completely understand before raising his voice over something so minor. Already saw another comment about a disabled person being harassed, can speak from personal experience that this happened to me, too. I am medically incapable of wearing a mask, and even after offering to show management my medical documentation and prescriptions (and being denied the ability to do that), was still berated and harassed by manager, staff and patrons. One patron called me the 'n' word, and when I took offense and shouted at him, the manager told me I was the problem. Under the current mandate, people like myself cannot be excluded from businesses of public accommodation due to a disability. I have filed both a corporate complaint and a formal ADA complaint. Absolutely despicable that staff treated me this way, as well as allowed patrons to harass me as well. Employees need better training on both federal laws and local mandates. read more

Believe the 1-star reviews. This place is horribly managed. My wife and I shipped some wine to this location near our home, and received an e-mail confirmation that the shipment had arrived and was signed for. We stopped by more than 24 hours later (i.e. long enough that there should have been no confusion about what has/hasn't come in). We had to stand there and wait for one of the two employees to acknowledge us, and after informing them our shipment was ready for pick-up they entirely dismissed us and told us it wasn't there. We informed them that UPS most certainly did tell us it arrived and was signed for. After this back-and-forth two or three times (we offered to show them the tracking number and evidence that one of them had signed for the package), during which they stopped to help a customer who walked in after us, they told us to come back another day. Asking again, they finally bothered to go looking about and of course found the delivered packages. Without apologizing for the error, one of these guys proceeds to literally throw the boxes onto the counter. These packages contained alcohol and have labels on them that clearly indicate the recipient must be over 21. They neither verified we were the correct recipients nor our ages, so apparently all you have to do at this location is walk in and say a last name to walk out with a package. 9/6/20 at 1:45PM in case anyone in the chain of command actually cares about who's being paid to (not) work here. It's sad, because there are a lot of people who lost their jobs during the pandemic who would be very happy to be employed in an air conditioned environment. He helped with the heavy boxes out of 2 cars and even waited until we had to come back when they were about to close. The boxes arrived much earlier than I expected. Go to this location. Sent time sensitive medication to a friend. Paid 120 bucks to have it overnighted. Four days later no sign of it. Manager tells me they've lost it and if they do find it I'll not get a refund. I explain that I paid 120 dollars for NEXT DAY delivery and if found and it arrives a week late I'll still be charged 120?! He says yes, we don't guarantee anything. It would've cost 20 bucks to have it delivered a week late and that's if they even find the package. As of now it's still lost. Will never use UPS again at any location. Unbelievable. read more

The manager is an absolute psychopath. I arrived with my package to return, which Amazon gave me this location and a barcode to return here. I walked in with no mask because I'm vaccinated and now in Texas, government owned facilities cannot require a mask, and the manager became hostile immediately and started yelling at me about a mask. I did not have one with me so asked if he had an extra, when he said no I asked if he could just quickly scan my item so I can leave quickly and he threw my package at the door. Completely unnecessary and rude and when I tried coming back in the store with a napkin over my face (because I did not have a mask on me) he tried to refuse my service. I will never be back to this UPS location, if the manager is so scared of covid and a vaccinated customer he should stay at home. read more

I rarely write reviews, but my experience here and with the entire UPS business certainly warrants one. My package NEVER left this store as per the tracking number. Most likely STOLEN from someone here or the driver. Of course they claimed it was "lost". The ENTIRE claims process has been a nightmare as well. If you want your packages safely delivered... DON'T use UPS, period. read more
