Literally the worst ups I have ever visited. I would much rather travel to the location on Preston / beltline. Everyone in the location has nasty attitudes and greet you by saying " what up " in particular the white unkept white male. The older black lady has a nasty attitude and they all stand around waiting to see who's going to help the customer. Nobody ever looks up to acknowledge you when they walk in. FedEx is so much better with their self serve box drop off. This store moves at a snails pace. This is worse than waiting in line at the airport to talk to an agent. Taking 30 minutes+ for 2 people to open a mailboxes. People are leaving the store because of line which is now out the door. I've been a UPS box holder and business customer for nearly a decade in Plano. I just relocated and decided to go with this store for my business needs. Major regret. I will say the new manager Jarrod is amazing. He handled all of my business needs while he was in Plano and he's fantastic. But the older woman with the short hair Sef is the worst and sadly she's the one in there most of the time. I am new to the neighborhood and every single time I have been in there she was been so rude and insulting to us customers. She rolls her eyes, says rude things under her mask, and does not like helping customers. Today she told me it would cost $23 to mail a regular letter. I drove up the road to another store and the same letter was $9.65 as I knew it would be. Don't let these few good reviews fool you. I've talked to neighbors about it and many neighborhood folks also hate going in there and we will drive to other locations to avoid her. This needs to be addressed on a corporate level. read more

This is the absolute best UPS location! I am there 5 days a week every M-F picking up mail and packages at our personal mailbox. They do it all including shredding, notary, packing and shipping. I came in to return something I purchased off amazon and the guy working there told me I had to purchase one of their packing boxes so I ended up paying for a box and then he just gave me a receipt for the box I had just paid for, any way when I asked for my receipt for the shipment he said that was it so I left and over a month later amazon never received my return read more

This is a great UPS location! I do not ever have to wait long before receiving assistance and every employee has been more than helpful when I arrive to send something out. My last visit, I arrived with a return item and a prepaid label, but needed something to send it back in. The store employee gave me a padded envelope and affixed the return label. Don't trust this location when it comes to shipping your products! They are rude and have bad customer service! My package was never shipped to the company so a week later it was at my door after paying 22$ to ship the item! I talk to a lady who said her name was Victoria! This ignorant witch is very rude! She talked over me the whole time and when I told her I was an accident she still wanted me to drive to this location that's 45 mins away! I told her I have no car! My car has been totaled! Absolutely horrific customer service and business that charges 20% more than other UPS franchises in the area. Will not answer their phones, when they do they hang up on customers, tell you to call back when "they're" not busy. Part of their contract states they will place your packages in lockers with a key in your box so it's accessible; this isn't true you have to CALL THEM to tell them to do it. But since they refuse to answer their phones, it never happens. So sorry we ever chose this place. read more

Worst retail experience I've had in a very long time. Went to mail 2 small envelopes as quickly as possible. The extremely disinterested worker told me it would cost $140 and not arrive until Tuesday (this was Saturday). I said "really?" and agreed to it all. She entered my info and when asked to sign that all was correct my email was not and explained why. She said it is correct and I said well what I see is not. I asked her to look at my customer screen and she she said "I'm not coming around there!". I offered to photograph it and show her. She said it didn't matter anyway as I'd have a paper receipt. I disagreed politely explaining I would like UPS to have my correct email address. At this point we had a dozen people lined up behind me. So realizing I was getting no where and never would, I picked up my items, went to FedEx at Preston Royal, mailed my items for $60 and a guaranteed delivery by noon on Monday. Needless to say I'll only ever go to the UPS in Rye NY (the very best, everyone in that store) and will never try a random UPS store again. Just not worth the aggravation. read more

This is the only place I go to for my shipping needs. Great service..... they will go to your car and help you with your packages. This would never in a million years happen with USPS. They make sure your packages are secured with extra tape if needed. Every employee I have worked with has been courteous, friendly and professional. I look forward to going here! Dropped off a package over 2 months ago, charged a ton of money for shipping. I got a call today telling me my package was never delivered. I spoke to Karen/Kathy and was told if I wanted to resend it I would be charged for shipping again or I could pick it up and not be refunded my money. She stated she was a franchise and not UPS so she couldn't tell me why it wasn't delivered. Told me she'd call back and never did. 2 months!! 2 months later it was sent back to sender and they don't know why UPS couldn't deliver it. read more

I think this store is under new management, as I've been coming here for two years and in the last month never have I had so many problems or the same employee be rude and unaccommodating over and over again. Today will be my last time using the store. They won't allow me to drop off without waiting in line even with a pre-paid label and account and app, they won't allow me to print prepaid package labels, there's always a huge slow moving line, and the guy with the red hair and a beard is flat out the rudest employee I've ever met. These are things I've been doing at this location for several years and I've never had a problem. Also the whole point of going to UPS and paying an extra surcharge on packages is for customer service. This place doesn't have it. They aren't actually open until 7, they post it on the door as 630, but they leave as close to 6 as possible. Not a very friendly service, pretty slow for having at least 3 employees. Take the extra 5 minutes and go to the one down by Preston and Royal, they ARE open until 7. read more

Very disapppointing. Won't use this place again. Shipped a TV; bought insurance; they destroyed the TV; and then refused to honor the insurance. After four visits to the store and 6 or 8 e-mails over the next 5 months; nothing. Finally, after threatening to sue them (and actually preparing all the legal papers to file suit), they capitulated and paid me the insurance money. Sadly, while all of the staff at store were very pleasant and apologetic, the business owner, a UPS franchisee, refused to do the right thing until I threatened to sue. This particular store's employees were friendly, yes, but they way over-quoted packing a very fragile item. They were smart in wanting to do a good job and by double-boxing, but their quote of $130 JUST for packing materials and labor (? never heard of this one) was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. I said thanks, I'll buy my own and do it myself. $40 later, I went to another UPS Store (1900 Preston Rd. in Plano for which I'll write a fantastic review). To qualify my review score, I gave 1 star because negative stars were not available. I cannot recall having ever been so abused, ripped-off and insulted as I have been and am still enduring at the hands of these people. I actually considered that I was in some sort of "Candid Camera" skit. The tale is long and ongoing. I will be back in there tomorrow and cannot begin to imagine what they might have "up their sleeves" this time. In short, they took my package, mistakenly entered the wrong address for my item, shipped it to the wrong street, wrong street number, city and zip-code. Seriously...they did this and then when I returned to the store (the first time), when the intended recipient had not received the item a week later, the clerk (not the original one) blamed ME because I had signed whatever it was they put in front of me originally. The clerk was rude and dismissive. However, he agreed to "see what he could do" to get the item picked up and delivered to the RIGHT address. However, he indicated that it would likely cost me additionally since "UPS will likely charge us". Turns out, although the BIG sign on the front of the store say "UPS STORE", they are NOT UPS. They had originally charged me $21.79 to ship this item, a return of an item I had purchased online and paid $7.00 to have shipped TO me. A week or more later, when the item could not be "tracked", I returned, once again, to this bogus "UPS STORE" only to discover that they had, in fact, done nothing. This time I spoke with a young man who seemed to be aware of what had happened originally and mentioned that the original clerk. had been given remedial training as a result. It seems she was supposed to have ME fill out the shipping address...NOT do it herself. He quickly passed me on to the "manager" Chris, a friendly young man who seemed to be aware of the situation and admitted that nothing had been done and retreated to the back for several minutes and returned after having spoken with "Adam Beyer" who he suggested was the REAL manager or owner. The NEW solution was for them to charge me a "DISCOUNTED" ADDITIONAL FEE of $16.79. I paid the money (yes, I know that was probably a bad move on my part, but what options did I have?). I got a NEW tracking number and was assured that the item would be picked up the next day and RE-delivered to the correct address within 2 more days. I called a week later when the tracking showed the item picked up the next day, but not yet delivered and no transit details. I called again, spoke to yet another clerk who appeared to be familiar with the situation and said he would check the shipment, get with Chris and call me back. It is now 8 days later (I have been out of town) and still NO CALL and NO change on the tracking Oh, and obviously, I have not received my money back from the merchant. You cant make this stuff up. What a joke. AND, the joke is on me. Avoid this place like you would the plague. read more

Just had some things to drop off at this UPS store and needed a notary for a document. Spencer was great and very accommodating as the other gentlemen in the store. They made sure I knew some other services they provide that I might not know about. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend this store. read more
