She printed the info out and even cut it for me for free. She offered her condolences and that really stood out to me. Before she attempted to toss away the drafts, she also gave them to me instead. Which I kept as a keepsake. It's not often that people go out of their way to make someone else better, but Toni did that day! The UPS store is a minority-owned small business, operated by husband-and-wife team Lumi and Temi. CUSTOMER SERVICE Quick and cordial! SERVICES Printing (posters, banners, brochures), shipping (overnight, next day, 2nd day, UPS ground), shredding ($1.45 per lb.) and mailbox rental. UPS Store offers a notary service, copying, faxing and scanning. "House Accounts" allow small businesses to "receive monthly or weekly billing statements for easier expense tracking." Personally, the ability to return my Amazon purchases is my favorite benefit! MAILBOX RENTAL A mailbox includes receipt notification and package acceptance. A real street address is advertised but it's pretty obvious that it's either a po box or an apartment #. The current, advertised price for a small (3 x 5.5) box is $90 for 6 months, $156 annually. A medium mailbox (business only) costs $126 for 6 months, $216 per year. There's a $25 set up fee. Mailbox vs. PO Box Post Office boxes are slightly bigger than UPS store mailboxes but they also cost more. Besides, if your mail is too big to fit in your box, the staff will hold it for you! Mailbox Access If you require 24 hour access to your box, a PO box might be preferable. But while some US post offices are accessible (Candler Road), others lock the lobby and close early (Lakewood - Jonesboro). UPS Store's mailbox access is the same as the store hours, thankfully it's open on weekends! NEEDS IMPROVEMENT Minus one star after nearly being charged more than the advertised price for a mailbox. I was told there was a $25 key fee but the register said $0. Thankfully, that was resolved but my 1 month free offer wasn't honored because "the system didn't allow it...." Still, the yearly price for a mailbox rental is cheaper than a Post Office box. And even though it took 3 calls to speak to an employee, that's still better than the Post Office (800 #) phone tree. They would handle it from there. NOT TRUE at this location. I was first told by the manager on duty that I had to box it up and ready to ship. I told him that wasn't what the instructions said. I left not happy and called my daughter who had just returned two phones last week. She confirmed that Verizon instructions were accurate. I went back in the store and relayed that information. That made the manager mad and he told me he would take it and it was only for my own protection that he initially refused. I then figured out he had no idea what he was doing nor his obligation to honor the contract between Verizon and UPS. I then took it to another store further away and had no problems with the return.

Prices for the notary services are reasonable at $5 a stamp/page. What really made me love this place was the courtesy that the owner showed. Recently I left my ID there and didn't know. I returned from a trip to find a piece of mail in my mailbox stating that I left my ID and to please return. He was so cognizant and copied my ID on a scanner and printed it, then used a black marker to block out all of my information other than my photo. He also attached his business card and stated that he hopes this address is current and to please call him and that he will be holding it for me. In a world where people don't have the time or aren't courteous to protect another person's information I was just extremely impressed that he took the time to protect my information like that and thought of how someone could've utilized the information on my ID if for any reason my address wasn't updated. It's the little things and now this is likely the only place I will use moving forward.

So glad I did, because the notary was warm and friendly, interacted with my kids, was very professional and completed the notarization in a timely manner (and beautiful penmanship). I arrived around lunch time and it was pretty busy but the line moved faster than any other post office I've been to, the ladies are efficient. There is free street parking and several spots in their parking lot, it is a very tight space and I'm thankful I drive a compact car. The worker that checked me out was pleasant. I was a little confused by them not placing a fragile sticker on my package although I answered yes to the fragile question. I asked and was told they don't apply a fragile sticker but I've been to other offices and they have. I'm thankful my package arrived to the recipient on time and not broken. I will continue to drive to this office for postal services while I live on this side of town.
