I went to drop off 2 small boxes as an Amazon return. one box required taping and they wanted to charge me $1.50 for 12" of tape.

I've gone to this UPS store so many times, hoping that the staff would be nicer and the service better. One young lady was finally hired, who was a welcome change, but the older man seemed to irritated by the customers. I needed tape on my package and he said they couldn't ship it. I had to take it back home and tape it, even though a tape gun was visable. A week later, I needed to ship a package back to Amazon and the older lady said the same thing. There was one small part of the top of the box that didn't fit well. She said I could either take it home or she could put a piece of tape on it, but she would charge me a dollar! I said, "for one piece of tape?" She replied, "Yes." After that I was done with this location. I will drive the extra distance to the other UPS. I feel sorry for the young lady being around such bad attitudes. If you don't like dealing with the public, find another type of work!!! read more

This location is convenient but I will no longer take my returns here. I made the mistake of not having a package (plastic envelope) taped up. I asked the guy to tape it for me and he got all huffy. Next time have it taped. I said I usually do, why are you telling me this. We charge I said for some tape on an envelope. He said yes. I replied I can take it somewhere else. We had a very important package to be delivered so decided to have it shipped directly from one UPS store to another, rather than have it shipped to our home and take a chance that it might be stolen. But when I went to pick it up at the UPS store in Conyers, they did not have the package. The admitted that they signed for it, yet couldn't tell me anything, except that they don't check to be sure they are getting what they sign for, which is ridiculous! TERRIBLE customer service for some and better service for others. I waited in line with a small box to return to a retailer but I did not realize that I should have been at FedEx. After I was waited on by the clerk with the light brown/blonde hair and glasses, she informed me that I was at the wrong store. No problem. I asked if I could have a piece of tape to close my box and she said no because we charge for tape. I definitely understand that BUT the blonde haired lady that was before me had a package that should have gone to the Post Office and she was at the wrong place. She asked for a piece of tape to place the mailing label on the box. Not only did the clerk give her tape but she placed the label in a sleeve and taped it to the box for her with a smile. I clearly see why this location has one star and I wish that I could give them a 0. Make your policy uniform across the board because this felt like discrimination!! I won't be back!! read more

Probably the worst ups in the country. The older guy there told me I still had to wait on line even with prepaid packages. What's the point of coming with them prepaid and still having to wait on line. The line is already stretched outside and if i decide to bring my 10 boxes not prepaid and you have to weight and price each of them there, your line will move even slower and be even longer and it's too hot to have 15+ people waiting outside. I've seen elderly people waiting outside this place is 80 degree weather. If you can make it to another location or even the ups access point down the road at cvs, go there instead read more

I visit this location very frequently for Amazon returns. It was my favorite location until today. The caucasian lady who is always at the counter is usually nice but today she must've had a bad day. She was just so rude and nasty. She tried to argue with me about my phone not being bright enough when I told her it was as bright as it goes and then she just dismissed me and said "well you need to figure it out." Mind you she only tried to scan twice. It was like she was intentionally trying to make an example out of me or something. So I go to the next counter with another young lady and it works instantly. It made me so upset that I had to sit in my car and cry angry tears because I didn't want to show my butt like I could have. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! I am very disgusted with the lady's attitude and the way she spoke to me because I came to her with a smile and positivity and she belittled me like trash in front of the whole store! read more

I've been bouton this ups location for a very long time! Customer service is wonderful! I see some of the reviews with experiences I have yet to witness myself. My thing is treat individuals with respect and the way you want to be treated and in return they will do the same that way it will work out for both parties while being serviced. Still awful service. Tried to verify with the lady I didn't need to sign anything after dropping off a ups package and she got angry telling me she was helping a customer on the phone. I was the customer she was helping in person before she picked up a call. That's the abysmal service you get here. Can't even verify you're done with the transaction. She told me she didn't know anything about Amazon drop offs. Its not that she didn't know anything but she wasn't taking the time to listen to what I was saying even though I asked her three times. I've read the reviews and must say I'm shocked. I frequent this location at least twice or more a month with my Amazon returns and have always had excellent customer service. There have been occasions when the line was out the door but it still ran smoothly. As with any place you have to pack your patience sometimes. Ive been going to this place for atleast 5 yrs . My mom is out of town i often send her packages . And for and a yr ive been sending a business partner packages . As you know the have a log of your previously sent addresses but for some weird reason my last 2 packages took almost 2weeks opposed to the 3 day eta. MY LAST time going i sent a very important document to the same previous address they have on file (MIND YOU HE PULLED IT UP OF MY PREVIOUS TRANSACTION) after 2 weeks i go back and ask why havent they recieved it . He starts shuffling me around . Im like " WHERE IS IT NOW " he responds should be on thr way back to me .. So i say ok you made a mistake and put the wrong address and mispell the name . HE GETS A LOUD ATTITUDE TELLING ME HE REFUSES TO ADMIT HE PUT THE WRONG INFO .... im like dude its not that we all make mistakes just admit it... HE GETS LOUDER TELLING ME I SHOULDNT HAVE CONFIRMED IT . I agree i should have looked closer but didnt KNOWING ITS GOING TO THE EXACT SAME PLACE THEY HAVE ON FILE . THE TALL SON IS A ARROGANT employee. If i woulda kept going he would have seem to enjoy a aruement . I dont have time to entertain him . I was returning something via Amazon's "no- box returns" when she exclaimed that I needed a box. When I tried to explain that it was a no box return, she constantly interrupted me, yelling and refusing to repeat herself because I didn't understand. I have never had to use a box for Amazon's "no box return" and was confused. The manager's wife was no help either. I will not be coming back to this location. I recently stopped in this location to have a service performed. When I entered at 8:30 am, there was one other customer who the owner was having a friendly "chat" with about visits to his homeland of India. Mind you, they were not in the middle of any business transaction as the owner pulled out his cell phone to show the customer pictures of Mumbai. I was never once acknowledged (there wasn't anybody else in the store) or even provided a friendly "be right with you". The two men carried on for an additional five minutes looking at family photos and discussing the various locations in India that were visited. It's obvious that the owner is "independently wealthy" and does not need the few measly dollars that would be provided by me today. The sad part is, the services that I needed performed I could have (and ultimately did) receive for free from another institution. I stopped her for convenience. Boy was that a mistake..... I will continue going out of my way to patronize other companies that have a strong desire to interact with their customers. read more

This is the worst UPS store I've ever been to. My first experience here was for scanning documents. Not only do they charge you a crazy amount to scan, but they charge you to rent their computer to save the files. I have also gone here numberous times to send envelopes regular mail. They are sturdy envelopes that the UPS store in Dunwoody charges about $4.50 to send USPS. I have been charged between $5 - $6+ for this same package, each time it's a different price. I have brought this up to the owner/manager twice and he says its because it's a different weight. Nope. Each time I send these they are the exact same weight and envelope. I have seen him code it differently. Sometimes as a parcal, sometimes as a envelope. Which is why it comes out different each time. I feel as though the owner isnt being honest with me and it's really turned me off. The second time I brought this up I told him exactly what he charged me the time before (which at that time he told me to remember the price as he assured me it would be the same the next time...which was $5.60). He rung me out for $6.70 and I told him this. He told me I need to come back with my reciept showing it was $5.60 and he would refund me the difference. Um, excuse me?! I am not making a trip here for $1.10, but the point of the matter is the prices make NO sense! Even though I live right near this location, I will go out of my way not to do business here anymore. Also they are not very nice at this location. I recommend another UPS store or Fedex Office down the street! read more

Went there to print a 2 page document and was charged a $1.20. That's 60 cents per copy. 5 times the cost at FedEx and 4 times the cost at another UPS store on Rockbridge. I'm not sure if it's the facility or the company on a whole, but I lost out on a 300 dollar flight because of UPS. I woke up early and had to pay extra money to have my ID guaranteed by 10:30am, next day mailed to me. I had forgot my ID at home and had to get it mailed to me in order to catch my flight home. 10:30, 11:30, and hours passed still no package. I track it and the last and only scan in 12hrs is the origin scan, and nobody can tell me where it is. Everytime I call, I'm promised a call back and nobody EVER calls back. I still go to the airport (by taxi) and of course can't get on the flight. I have to be back in GA by a certain time so my niece forfeits her flight, to get a rental(I have no ID) so that we can drive back. I've now driven back to GA and the package still hasn't made it to NY, as the first sign of movement was today. Now I'm back home with no ID and have to wait additional time for it to be re-routed to me. read more
