This store and the staff used to be great to work with, but now the person I see working most often is rude and short with people. Part II My response to the UPS Store manager's response is as follows. Well Tabitha, since you don't want to know what it is that I want from your store to make this situation right, I am going to tell you anyway. I want this to be a memorable experience for you, your nasty, rude, and disrespectful employee and now the franchise owner of your four stores as well. The cover up is almost always worse than the original crime. And that is what you are doing. And to pursue that goal, I have been in contact with your corporate headquarters to find out what the protocols are for resolving disputes between individual stores and unhappy customers. And so, in addition to my social media campaign, I am now going to take this up with the UPS store HQ to find out if they care more than you do. And just FYI, this is not a "he said", "she said" because there are as many cameras in your store as a bank and so everything was recorded and you have that video. If you really cared, you would review that recording and see that this is not a "he said" versus "she said", this is about you lying and covering up for your terrible employee. You also wrote one thing about your response to my reviews on media sites, and you gave me quite different responses in your emails. You are a liar, and I am going to expose your lies to not only your corporate office, but to the public as well. And I have already won because this is now a memorable experience for you, isn't it? But even so, this is far from over because you are still in possession of my mail. And it wasn't that your store policy for key refunds wasn't explained better to me, it was that it wasn't explained to me at all and I was told another lie and that my key deposit was being retained because my box had expired the previous day at midnight and that is how this whole ordeal began. It is your responsibility to take care of my mail and give it to me whereas I am under no obligation to stand there and take abuse from your nasty, rude, and disrespectful employee while she leisurely sorts through my mail with it in her hands. And this entire nasty exchange happened in front of several other customers who were waiting in line behind me which made it quite embarrassing for me. I walked out instead, but that does not absolve you of your duty to take care of my mail. Your employee thought she had power over me because she was holding my mail and now you think the same thing because you have not only my mail, but my driver's license that you failed to tell me about as well. What were you planning on doing with it? And I now want to be compensated for the emotional and physical distress this entire event has caused me. Tell your UPS Store franchisee to get out his checkbook because that is the only way this is going to end. read more

The worst costumer service... very rude disrespectful employees.. first they charge me the same fee for 2 different packages one been smaller and lighter than the other one. When questioned why, the old lady gave me such an ugly attitude saying that she quoted the right price. I was not gonna waste my time with her. And yesterday I was charged over $3 dollars for an envelope that was priced at $1.59. When questioned again., the girl got mad and gave me such and ugly attitude that she said that she would pay for it, because that was not the price. Patrick is wonderful, very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. I read reviews in town and was disappointed that it had just a couple of stars. So I was driving into Prescott Valley. Well I was sick of doing that, so I tried them and I certainly don't see why this store was rated low. Patrick waited on me and he was great and has been every time. I always try to give a business a benefit of a doubt especially during the pandemic but this place has such lousy customer service I will never return. I normally go to the Prescott location but I happened to be in Chino and I had a couple of packages I needed to send so I thought for convenience sake I'd get everything done at once. The long reddish haired lady at the counter was less than welcoming, snippy, rude, and unhelpful. I ended up taking my packages into Prescott where they were sent WITH NO PROBLEM and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. When you take a package to THIS satellite franchised UPS store, you get a label and a tracking number but you won't see the disposition of your package by punching in the tracking number on the internet until an actual UPS driver (from UPS itself, meaning an actual UPS driver FROM UPS) goes to the store, picks up the package and scans your label. Until then, you can check on the internet all you want and you will get a message that says "there is no information available about this package." This caused me to lose three days of shipping because I dropped it off on a Saturday and I was told it would not be picked up by a UPS driver until 5:30 the following Tuesday that I called the store to find out what gives. When I asked them to give me my package back, they said, "sorry, no refunds." The reason I didn't say I lost four days shipping is because the following Monday was a holiday. An acquaintance of mine took a package sent to me here in Chino Valley to a REAL UPS store in Connecticut and an hour later, on the same day, I punched in the tracking number he sent to me and I immediately saw the disposition of the package. If you think you are going to get the same quality of UPS service from the personally owned, franchised UPS store on Highway 89 in Chino Valley that you would get by taking your packages to a REAL UPS store, then think again. You will not. Just because the people behind the counter are pleasant when you use their service (and they are), doesn't mean their service is going to be good. I highly recommend that you bypass this store on Highway 89 in Chino Valley, if you are concerned about getting a package delivered on time. Shipping times are significantly delayed when you use the franchised store in Highway 89 in Chino Valley. I will never use this store again for anything. If I could have given them a ZERO rating, I would have. read more

Went in to drop an Amazon return that was delivered to me in 2 boxes. Had return label printed out. The unhelpful girl (around 1:30pm 7-21-21) said I needed 2 labels. I thought ok, mark em 1 of 2 & 2 of 2 with a copy of label? She said no. However, I could box them together but that'd cost you $90.00. It was like she didn't want to help. Most Glum as well. In my business we find solutions not reasons why it can't be done. Worst customer service ever. If she worked for me, she wouldn't be working for me-right away. I dropped off a package at this location yesterday. It had a pre-shopping label so the young man who was busy at the time advised me to just leave it on the counter. Today, according to UPS tracking page the there is no information on the package. Did someone walk off with my package? I need to know what is going on. Today when I called the store to discuss this matter, the young lady became stressed and hung up on me. When I called back and asked to speak to a manager, she became very agitated and raised her voice. I told her all that I want is to speak to a manager and file a damage/loss claim. The item inside the package was valued at $150. I still have not heard from a manager. All I want is for a manager to call me, maybe review the security tapes and see where my package ended up? Then file a loss claim if the package isn't found. It was never scanned by a UPS package handler so I have no reason to believe it left the store. The young man working the counter today (no females spotted in the store other than the customer in front of me) was welcoming, friendly, courteous and efficient. Store 1021 North AZ-89 Ste (108) Chino Valley AZ 86323 We my family and I have been doing business with U.P.S. for nearly twenty years, and for the most part the service has been great, The drivers are fair and descent people. We've had a few bumps here and there but they usually get ironed out in quick fashion once the right rep. is contacted. On the whole U.P.S. has been a first class company I really hate giving U.S.P. a bad review but possibly they need to review their satellite stores maybe secretly shop them, to check on their customer service standards. Really this review is about a place that has been contracting with U.P.S. once known I believe as something like "Mailboxes and More" ? only now they fly under the U.P.S. banner leading people to believe they are a actual U.P.S. Store when in reality they are not. The customer is thus informed once there is a problem that the store clerks don't want to deal with, it never used to be this way? I have been trying to pick up or have a package delivered but with no success. I keep getting UPS contact notes on my gate, We have given UPS and their Store our contact numbers to aid them and the drivers, but still no, nothing. I have made two trips to the store to speak with them personally, I have been very descent and patient and long suffering with these two gentlemen who work the desk. But alas my patient nature is at an end. It truly seems that they either don't know what to do, to help me, or maybe they don't want to. I really feel that I am being jerked around. U.P.S. is maybe being made to look like less than, the great company we thought they were by the service of late at this store. I wont use their names here because I still think that maybe unfair ( Despite my level of anger and disappointment) But maybe again a review of UPS's current affiliation with this location maybe in order, maybe a modification of the store banner back to their Mailboxes And More, with a subbanner of a UPS droppoff location, letting those clearly know they are not indeed a UPS store but merely a subcontract location. I just gave this location a five star rating a week ago. Today I needed to print a shipping label and was told it would cost $5.00 for one label. I told her I paid $2.00 a week ago. She snapped that the previous employee made an error. She had a kind of take it or leave it attitude. She also told me that all print jobs are now $5.00 plus $.17 per page. Chino Print and Copy still charges $2.00. They will have all my printing business from now on. I will not return here due to excessive price gouging. read more

Every time I go into UPS in Chino Valley AZ I either hear someone being treated rudely and abrasively or I am. I am bewildered that UPS is allowing this kind of representation. One time we needed fingerprint cards done for foster care and were told the hours for that were 10-4. Went in at 10am, no one else in the store and the girl said "well we don't start that til 10:30 so I can't help you." We were told 10-4. At the last minute she made a decision to help us but she made sure we knew we were resented for it. Another time a senior citizen was inquiring how to go about making an Amazon return and a different girl was having a great time being rude to him and letting him flounder and fail so she could keep ridiculing him that he didn't know how to do it, I actually stuck up for him and got him through the process. Sad since that's not my job as a paying customer. When I went in today another lady was bullying someone on the phone saying "sir are you getting a mailbox or not because if you keep inquiring about location I guess your not getting a mailbox," then she said no you're not ... NO YOU'RE NOT sir I'm hanging up on you now. And she did. Then when she helped me she was rude and abrasive and walked to the back leaving me standing there waiting to pay but when I summoned her out she got all huffy and said "it was prepaid" like I was completely inconveniencing her.
