The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's right on Gurley Street. Very easy to find. Very small parking lot but very convenient location.

This is hands down the worst UPS store in not just Northern Arizona but the entire chain of UPS stores. They hired the most qualified for sure... Their service is sloppy as their appearances. I had a terrible experience here; an employee dropped the art work I had just sold and was about to mail. He did not apologize until I reminded him to. In addition, the store said they would not pay for the damages unless I provided a receipt. They also said they didn't know when I would be reimbursed. Tried to ship a scope and was told "we can't ship guns." When I explained it wasn't a gun the employee told me "we can't ship gun parts, even screws." I'm not sure how this rocket scientist is identifying firearms screws... I explained that a scope is basically one half of a pair of binoculars. Nope. I explained that I not only have my federal firearms license, but also work for a firearms manufacturer to which she said "well then you should know the laws." Yeah idiot, you might call me a subject matter expert on them... Of course the box I prepackaged that had ammo stickers all over the outside of it was somehow fine... Moral of the story, buy the box, pack it in your car and bring it back in so you don't confuse the employee who is somehow underqualified to tape boxes shut. We had a package shipped here not knowing it was going out fedex. When we went to pick it up the rude girl at the front told us they would have sent it back. She would not even look around to see if it was there. We got a hold of fedex and they followed up with up and had proof it was delivered on the 11th at 10:35 am. We went back to see if it was there as she was even more rude this time and told us it would have gone back since we don't have a mailbox there. The ladies in here are so nice, so helpful...and incredibly patient! Hailey, Veronica and the girl whose name I can't remember but looks a little like Lisa Loeb. So friendly! I'm grateful for the customer service. I see people go in there and get frustrated, usually at the Amazon return requirements, and just throw their temper tantrum on these ladies who work there who don't make up the rules. They've been super nice every single time I've gone in. They recognize a lot of the regulars who have mailboxes. Today, they had to call the cops on a customer and I saw them handle it with dignity. read more

Terribly run, and don't expect any print jobs you send them via theupstore.com or their local email to EVER be printed. The help seems annoyed to talk to anyone as well. I had time sensitive documents I needed for work and nothing happened. After several phone calls checking on the progress I finally went in person and was treated rudely. Was told they don't print anything emailed to them except labels and that my print job was never forwarded them from the main UPS site that I paid for the job on. Then they refused to give me a refund. I was dumbfounded. My old store in Anthem did a fantastic job with our booklets and open house flyers and business cards. They are who I finally called and they had it printing WHILE I WAS IN THE PHONE. I'll pick it up on my way from Prescott to Phoenix for work in the morning. Needless to say the Anthem store makes this Prescott one look like absolute crap. I have contacted the UPS Store corporate and maybe something positive will come of this, be it retraining or rehiring. read more

Open on Sundays- that alone is worth all the stars. Docked a star cause they refuse to give you a receipt when returning Amazon products. Other stores give receipts. Maybe they don't want to pay extra, but seems like it should be a UPS store standard to give receipts upon request. read more

Wendy and staff are just so nice and efficient. They are so good at what they do. I walked in one day and UPS had delivered close to 200 packages. They were busy sorting and knew that in that pile there was another package with my name. I offered to pick it up on the next day. But they insisted and found it within minutes. This is now the second time that I have had the worst experience from "General Manager" Tabitha Currier. I balked at the cost of printing a label for a prepaid package that I brought to ship, and instead of giving me reasons for the outrageous pricing or attempting to assuage my concerns, she snapped, "Well, maybe you should have printed it at home." I don't have a printer at home, and wasn't aware that the UPS Store, a company that is in the shipping business, would charge me to apply a label to the package. My previous interaction with Tabitha was at another local UPS Store, she wanted to charge me for a strip of tape on an Amazon return box. When I balked at paying for such a triviality, she again became extremely nasty and demeaning. It is unreal to me that a business serving locals would employ someone with such an anti-customer attitude. Tabitha makes me never want to patronize the two Prescott locations, EVER. read more

Some of the worst service I've ever seen !!! the system was down and they could not scan QR codes for returns I asked if they could print up the labels so that they could scan them in later and the girl working said they could but they would charge me two dollars a print and I said she couldn't you waive that print fee to accommodate for the system being down ..and they basically said that I could call the manager..Never mind, I'll go somewhere else . read more

Tried shipping a box today. I measured and weighed the package and went to the UPS web site for the cost of shipping. I was generous with the size and weight, just to be safe. The official UPS web site gave me a price of $26.00. Went to the Gurley St. store and was quoted a price of $47.00. They argued with me the official UPS web site was wrong. I don't review places very often but I felt these hardworking girls at this store deserve a shout-out. I come to this store often to send out documents for my personal business and there hasn't been a time that I wasn't greeted with a good attitude and a smile. They are always polite and conversational; and I will drive across town to go to that location over the FedEx down the street from me. This afternoon a complete KAREN, whose actual name I won't mention(Jamie! Oops ) came in and was acting like a spoiled bitch. When she asked for them to violate policy and they politely said they couldn't, she went into full KAREN mode. She had her phone out in seconds to take pictures and film, threatened to call the manager to get them fired, and made disrespectful comments implying that they couldn't do "their simple jobs to serve her" The entire time they stayed polite and professional. I tip my hat to them cause I would have been fired for telling her to get the fuck out. Finally the rest of the customers did just that but not before she bad mouthed the store a little more and tried to tell another customer not to do business there. There is one girl with a wrist tattoo who works here that is insanely rude every single time I come in. I try my best to be kind and appreciative of the help, but she goes above and beyond to be rude to me. She's like this with everyone I've seen, so I don't think it's personal. She's just a miserable person who seems to enjoy being as rude as possible to customers. Apparently the GM doesn't care based on the other reviews I've read, but just giving a warning to future customers to steer clear of this place. Or, if you can't, at least ask for the guy to help you instead since he's super nice. read more

Thanks to Tara I want to let you know that Tara has provided exceptional customer service to me over the past several months and I am extremely grareful she was involved. I had filed a damage claim in October after a Llardo Figurine was damaged when received by our friend.  Once Tara filed the claim, there were many, many iterations she had to endure with UPS Corporate as well as a refilling of the claim and numerous phone calls to follow up on the status of the claim.  I was present on a few occasions when she was trying to get answers and I am impressed at her tenacity and perseverance in seeing this through in the most difficult environment. The issue has been successfully resolved and it is a tribute to Tara that it has been. In a world where Customer Service seems to be lacking, it is refreshing to know that it is alive and well with Tara involved. I will never go to the UPS STORE NUMBER 0586 again.. 2 ladies that work there have every time I've been in that store are arguing!! BUT TODAY the woman (older, long dark hair) let loose on me. I was returning a package from Amazon. I returned it in the very packaging that I received it except the cellophane. She told me that she should make me put it in a box per written instructions. I explained that this was exactly how I received the package. She continued by yelling that she wouldn't be responsible. I said that was fine. She then took the box and threw it it with force and once again yelled she would not be responsible. I asked her name and employee number which she fused throwing a store card at me. The UPS store in Prescott AZ on Gurley street is fabulous! The employees are so helpful with finding out what you need. They listen well, help with many things like packing, fingerprinting, printing issues etc. With the diverse customer base of young and a lot of retired people they really know how to keep everyone happy even when there are many people at one time. Needed to ship via DHL and this was listed as an official DHL drop-off location. Went to drop off the package, and they refused to take it even though they are a DHL drop-off location. Called DHL and they called over to the location to find out what the deal was. He was told that the manager is no longer accepting DHL packages, UNLESS they are doing the packing as well (in other words, making money off of the packaging). The other Prescott UPS Store is doing the same thing. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The owner and the management are the worst and that is why they have such a high employee turnover. I feel so bad for anyone that has to work for this franchisee. I have personally watched them chastise customers for mistakes that they themselves made in front of other customers. This is not how you run a business or deal with the public. Customers like us are the reason you have a job! They lose your packages, give contradicting information and your packages will be delivered in the AM but you won't be able to pick them up until they are good and ready to do their jobs.
