I actually have never purchased anything from The UPS store but I frequently return items to Amazon via free drop off at UPS. It's easy to park and get in and out quickly. I've never had to wait for more than five minutes for assistance. There is tons of parking out front so it's easy to get inside. It's easily accessible in the shopping center. Located next to Baskin Robbins, yum! You can always hop next door for a sweet treat after mailing out your items. I prefer this UPS location because of it's convenience and great customer service. I don't mail packages often, but I would use this UPS location because they run efficiently and get you in and out the door quickly. Nobody has time to waste standing in line. Am I right? I recently sent a package overnight and it was delayed due to delayed flight, arriving a day late. I went in to ask for a credit but they were way ahead of me. They keep their own local system to follow up on their customer's shipments and filed the claim for me! It's good to have someone else watching and following up proactively. Great service today, dropping off a large package to be shipped. The lady who helped me was efficient and on top of her game, getting my large box weighed (38 pounds!) and offering options to get it where I need it to go at various price points. Awesome. DO NOT GO HERE unless you like to be misled and overpay. I come here often for Amazon returns and have even purchased stamps here before. Today, however, I felt my total was high. The lady confirmed "stamps are $1" (admittedly I didn't know) I said I was surprised, was in a hurry with my toddler, paid and left. In the parking lot it still didnt seem right. I did a quick Google search and with the amount I had just purchased decided I shouldn't overpay for stamps. Went right Back in and asked for a return. The lady turned out to be the owner And said there was a SIGN ON THE DOOR that they wouldn't do a refund. When I reminded her we had a direct conversation about it minutes before she quickly revealed stamps are less and they do in fact upcharge. what a surprise she wsd Totally transparent once I had paid without the option to get my money back! I left feeling totally swindled and taken advantage of... all for stamps for Holiday cards! Hope it was worth it because I will Never be back. read more

I am not one to post negative reviews but felt inclined after not one, but two bad experiences at this particular UPS store. If I could give a negative 5 stars.. I would. First experience, tried to drop off a USPS package (just to be mailed out, had already packaged it up and paid for postage) the store owner denied me and told me to take it elsewhere. Poor business practice and terrible customer service. I have dropped off packages at various UPS stores and they were ALL happy to help me. Second experience, I paid for a return on amazon and to have my label printed out at this same UPS store for $1.00. The store owner's wife insisted on charging me another $1.00 just to put tape on my package. I agreed only to find out that the minimum debit card purchase is $5.00. The store owner and his wife were not going to help me out and were incredibly rude and unethical. This is not how a good business operates. This is poor customer service and I will not let any friends or family use this location. I ended up leaving the store and having to go to another UPS store a few miles away. That store location is McMullen Creek Market, 8334 Pineville-Matthews Rd #103, Charlotte, NC 28226. I did not have to pay $1.00 for tape and they shipped my package. Lesson for all my fellow Charlotteans, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. They will try to justify nickel and diming you and are desperate for a profit. Worst customer experience I have ever had. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE The owner of this location is nothing but a used car sales man hiding behind the UPS logo. He tells customers (and trains employees) to tell customers they have to buy "ABC" in order for him to ship your package. I am an avid Amazon shopper and so there are constantly items being sent back to Amazon WITH the shipping already paid for. The owner of this store thinks everyone is a sucker and will try and sell you everything under the sun to squeeze a dime out of you. The UPS on Fairview of MUCH better and are customer oriented. The only thing the Park Rd store cares about is money. Customer service is a myth to them. read more

Maybe one day I'll have to edit it, however the gentleman who helped me out got everything taken care of fairly fast and even handled taping up my boxes for me. what a terrible customer service!! I had stopped by to drop off a box and was witnessed of a fight between the angry "owner" (I believe he is from India) and a customer a little while ago. The customer was dropping off the box and the owner asked him to tape the corners well.. the customer asked if he could have a piece of tape and he said he needed to buy an entire tape instead of giving him a little piece. The guy went next door and brought a piece of tape and told him he would not buy a piece of tape for $5 when hes already paying for shipping.. owner got mad and basically refused to send the customer's package.. it was an entire show! The owner started yelling and cursing.. what a terrible time.. everyone at the store was unbelievably uncomfortable and i can say i will never be back there, people like this do not deserve my business. read more

Looks like I am not the only one that had a poor experience at this UPS store. I went in to ship a package that I needed to return to Amazon. The owner barely glanced at my package, told me the box I had was "too big for the item," and that I would need to purchase one from him for $6.95. I'm not sure how the box could have been "too big," if it was the same box Amazon used to ship the item to me. I had even added my own bubble wrap, just to be sure the item was secure. The owner was very confrontational during the entire exchange. I would have given him the benefit of the doubt and said maybe he was just having a bad day, but judging by these other reviews, he is ALWAYS having a bad day. I visited this location after receiving a notification that package I had delivered was left here for pick up. After waiting in line for about 10-15 minutes I was approached by the gentlemen at the counter, I kindly let him know that I was there to pick up a package that UPS emailed me about. The email confirmed that the packed had arrived yesterday and was in this store waiting for pickup. After taking the time to explain this TWICE to the person at the counter, somehow I was still turned away leaving here without my package... not because of some error whereas the package was not there, simply because someone REFUSED to even look to see if the package had in fact arrived. This type of blatant laziness is inexcusable! I will not be conducting any further business here in the future if I can help it. read more

We had a lot oh documents that needed a notary, the owner was the one that helped us and I would state her name but cannot spell it correctly, needless to say she was fabulous along with her team! We will always come to her store for any thing we need, they do so much and it is all in one place!
