I'm extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism and customer service I experienced at this OfficeMax location, specifically in the printing department. Earlier today, I came in with a laminating job that I needed completed the same day. I made that timeline very clear from the start. Tyler assured me that the job would be completed by 4 PM, which is why I agreed to move forward and paid for the service upfront. I even tipped Tyler as a gesture of appreciation for good customer service, expecting that my order would be handled responsibly. Unfortunately, I later received a call saying that the job cannot be completed until Monday. This is completely unacceptable. I came to the store early specifically to ensure the job would be done today, and now my schedule and plans have been disrupted because of a lack of follow-through. If I had known from the start that same-day service was not possible, I would have gone elsewhere. What makes this worse is that this seems to be part of a recurring issue at this location. Several recent reviews mention service and reliability problems, which suggests this is not an isolated incident but a pattern. OfficeMax is a national brand, and with that comes the expectation of professionalism, accountability, and dependable service. Paying for a service, being promised a same-day completion, and then having that promise broken is unacceptable and undermines trust in the brand. I would appreciate it if someone from corporate could contact me to address this situation. Please provide the appropriate corporate customer service or escalation contact so this matter can be resolved. I stopped in here to complete some office work. I need it done at SAP and the young lady Yvette was so patient helpful with me. It took me a while to get through the screens on my MacBook in order to print out my work. She was able to take her time and help me. I love Office Depot!!! I never have any issues finding what I need! However..... the product TUL's little sticky notes, should just be labeled notes because they do not stick at all. Once you pull them off the pad, that is it, they will never stick again. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was since I buy everything that TUL has, but this product they need to eliminate. Asked him to help me with a banner & he said his manager Kelly would get mad at him if he did... I told him I was here in November & a person helped me print a sign. After a stop at the OD nearest me, where they did not have what I wanted in stock, they checked the inventory of other stores and found that the filing cabinet I needed was in stock here. I was able to walk in, hand them the stock number, get rung up, and have some help getting the filing cabinet into my car. Not even ten minutes. Nicely done, OD. Nicely done. read more

I felt compelled to give a good review to Office Depot on South Boulevard for providing a consistently good customer experience. I've been in the store a few different times in the past couple of weeks, and the staff has always been friendly and attentive, both on the sales floor and in the custom printing area. I needed to get a check up for my computer...Now I'm not computer savvy at all, my solution for most all problems is turn the whole thing off and then hope it boots up and fixes itself. Well no such luck this time...what a relief it was to have Barrett help me! He saw the mix of fear and panic on my face and happily said don't worry I'm sure we can fix it! He gave me the run down and explained just what happened and how he could fix it while saving my pics, documents and music....oh yeah!!! He said that it would be ready in a couple of days and to make sure to bring it back to him every 6 months for a tune up. Very pleased with the professionalism and service here! Needed a print on the fly. Thought I would upload it to their website, but after calling them it was a lot faster to just place the call, email it over, and it would be ready for pick-up by the time I got there. Color copies are $.59/page. Not too bad when I needed it almost immediately. The employee that took my call was very friendly, but the other employee when I got there gave very average, near below average service...they must balance the store out. Thanks, Office Depot! I love this store and will never go to another Office Depot even if I have to drive further to get to this one. I get copies made every week for a church. I can email them the copies I need and within 30 minutes, by the time I get there, the copies are done. The copies usually require cutting and that is already done too. I am usually in and out of that store in less than 10 minutes unless I need to shop. Everyone in this store is polite and has great customer service skills. I spoke to the manager today to tell him how much I appreciate the excellent service I get at this store. He was very appreciative. People like this deserve your business! read more

Twice they have saved me a lot of headaches by fixing a computer that went down. The first time HP phone support wanted my credit card to overnight me a new power supply for my computer that would not come on. I didn't think I could install it so I just took the desktop to Office Depot. It wasn't the power supply at all but a spring in the power button. They had if fixed in seconds. Second time my hard drive went down. They saved all the data and programs and transferred them to an new drive. Had me back in business in a day for less than $200. I also discovered their prices are just as good as the "wholesale warehouses" on printers and ink plus the have a much better selection with people there do advise you. read more

DO NOT ORDER furniture from Office Depot on line. We ordered a desk and after several weeks of delay in shipping, we cancelled the order. We were assured we would see a credit on our card within 24 hours. 4 days later, still no credit, the desk was delivered and left on our front porch while we were not at home. Another call assured us the desk would be picked up promptly, however, they could not issue our credit until they received the desk. One week later desk is still on front porch, and after many, many calls, were told they tried to pick up yesterday but no one was home - NOT TRUE - we were home all day. The last lady we talked to yesterday afternoon, (IN UGANDA, AFRICA ... really ???) assured us it would be picked up this morning - no pick up yet. Lesson learned...buy office furniture locally. I shop at this store on a regular basis. My friends know me as a computer geek, so they seek my advice for buying computers. I always direct them to Office Depot. The sales people are knowledgeable and they have the best prices. The prices for their computers are comparable or better than what you can get online. I also get all of my computers at this location. Give them a try. And no: I don't work for them. read more
