Week ago Saturday, I took it in and they looked at it and did a diagnostic and gave me a price estimate. which was very reasonable. Told them to plan on going ahead and I paid half of the repair estimate up front so they could order the part, This was over Memorial Day weekend so nothing was going to happen till last Tuesday at best. They said they can normally make such a repair in 2 to 4 hours but to be safe, figure on 24 to 48 hours. They sent me a text message on Tuesday and the replacement screen was in. Since I use the laptop for work, I suggested that with the 24 to 48 hour window, I bring it in on Thursday so I could pick it up on Saturday or Sunday at the latest and have it for work the following week. Dropped it off at 5:35 pm on Thursday and by the time I walked into the door at 6:00 pm, got a call that the laptop was ready. Rather that make a trip back over in rush hour traffic, I told them to hold it and I would pick it up on Friday. Drove over on Friday after the morning Rush Hour traffic and picked it up. We first did a quick check to insure everything was functional and it was. Used it for several day now and it good as new. If you're looking to get an electronic device repaired, I highly recommend this place. They are quick and do a great job at very competitive pricing.

I dropped my phone off and the guy, I believe his name was Samir (?), quoted the time of repair would take 20 minutes and it would be $90. Done. I did wince at the $90 price tag only because my cracked screen wasn't that traumatic but I wanted it gone. I meandered around in Sephora and Banana Republic for a little bit then decided to just check on my phone. He was done and my screen was as good as new. Depending on how bad your cracked screen is and how busy they are, your repair time will most likely take less than 20 minutes.

And it was around $70. They had an aftermarket screen. I asked if they had an original apple screen. They said the original apple screen would cost $110. So I agreed to have the original screen installed. Once fixed I found out of course it was not an original Apple part and the quality was not as they promised!!! I returned to confront them on the issue and that's when the story changed to it is original but not Apple certified therefore the quality will not be the same!
