I am thrilled with the kind service I received today over the phone and in person. Amazon coordinated a pickup time for a large item that I wasn't able to accommodate and here I am with a large/heavy object to schlep to ups (with a bum knee no less). I called ahead as the box the item came in was a bit damaged and needed some doctoring before it went out. Robbie answered the phone with a smile in his voice and confirmed not only was he happy to help me get the item into their store he'd also help re-box the item. Upon arrival I went in and asked for Robbie and he was quick to help me unload my car of not only the item but also the oversized box. He had remembered my call earlier today and did everything he could to ensure my dream of getting the package boxed/shipped came true. By the time I moved my car and walked back in the item was boxed up and pretty much ready to go & I was offered a receipt. Huge huge thanks to Robbie who showed exemplary customer service and care. Ive been going to this location for a few years now so I feel I have a handle on this store. There have been some good people here, but Ive had more than a few bad experiences here to give this rating. The most recent is where I brought 4 amazon return items and handed over 3 return slips to scan. The attendant only scanned one of them and I spent over a month with amazon to get my refunds. When I called to confirm all were scanned, they assured me that everything was taken care of and if there were any issue, it was on Amazon's side. I firmly believe they blew me off and did not do anything to fix the problem. I will go out of my way from now on to go to another return location and avoid this store when possible. It will be worth it in the long run to avoid all I went through dure to poor customer service at this location. read more

We shipped a package of frozen food through this store. Thought it was going UPS 2 day delivery. Started shipment on Monday. Found out Wednesday package was going USPS and would not be delivered until Friday. Delivered damaged. Frozen food melted. Paid $256 for two day delivery. Told today the two day timeframe was not "guaranteed," so no relief for us. We would not have shipped USPS had we known. From now on we will go to FedEx in Boulder and avoid this store! read more

By far the worst experience I have ever had trying to get a document notarized. I brought in the doc, stated that I needed an acknowledgment letter for it. The notary said "You can write out your own but we don't provide them." Fine. She asked if the 3rd person listed on the doc would be signing, when I said "no" she wrote "NA" on the signature line before I could stop her, which ruined the doc completely. Notaries are supposedly trained to be professionals, writing on a document without checking with the customer first is big no no. So, I couldn't use the original I'd brought in. "You could white it out." she says. You grab my doc, write on it, ruin it, and tell me I can white it out, being rude in the process? Never again. But if you want to be treated badly and have your important documents ruined, go here. read more

We use this store for 13 years. No matter the changes in sales people (Judy is always there, for all these years!) they are always very kind, reliable, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. I can not believe that some reviews are negative: please remember that you do not review the UPS in general, but people in this particular store are honest and work very hard. To Rob A: a notary is supposed to write N/A if the second person is not present! I use Wells Fargo notary, once I brought the signed (by myself) document to be notarized and they sent me home to re-print it, because I must sign in their presence - they must actually see me signing. Yes, they had my ID, yes, only my signature was present/needed (no one else's), yes, they know me personally for years, but they still have the rules which they must follow. A few managers have come and gone over the years I have been dropping off my company's packages for UPS and USPS shipping. The current manager, Robert, is just an amazing man. The world would go a lot easier if more people were like him. He doesn't just stand behind a counter, he actually helps me in any way he can, whether it's helping me carry boxes into the store or answering questions. All UPS stores are pretty much the same - same services, prices, etc., so what makes a store horrible or awesome really has to do with the people working there. We've been to some pretty stores with some pretty bad customer service in the area, which is why we were so happy to find this location. Cory is awesome! He always has a smile on his face and does whatever we can to make the store visit a pleasurable one. We have a Mailbox at this location, and he's incredible at not only remembering our names and box # (his memory is unreal!) but also is more than happy to ship our mail to another location and help out in anyway he can! I made an appointment for 10am this morning to get assistance on scanning some old photos for a close friend's funeral. I went to the store at 10am and the lady at the counter told me the person that was supposed to help me was not there yet. I waited patiently then asked her if I could try to scan while I waited for help. She told me she did not know how to use the scanner and became quite rude and belittling to me. I asked her who else I could talk to and she said no one. I asked if there was a manager or an owner and she replied "no, we are just orphans here". I was shocked to be treated that way. I walked out of the store hurt and angry. These photos are treasures and I wanted to share them with the family who lost their loved one. I went to my car and another person came out and talked to me very kindly and said he could help me. His name is Cory. Cory saved the day, he helped me and I was able to get my photos scanned. I suggest you promote Cory. I heard the lady talk rudely to the customer in front of me too. She never even apologized to me. Cory is 5 stars, other is 0 stars. read more

I had the pleasure of visiting this store on a few occasions. Staff were pleasant. Postcards and letters were sent expeditiously without issue. However, the souvenirs I mailed back to Austin, TX were badly damaged in transit. So much so that a mug was shattered even after using bubble wrapping and appropriate packaging protocol. read more

Absolutely useless. Don't ship through them. It was the biggest hassle to send one package. They make you print your own label where they charge you to get on their computer, then charge you to print the damn thing, then you have to pay for a box, and probably packing tape too. It's a hassle. If I walk into a fedex they're always happy to actually help and be useful. I went to two different locations and both sets of employees were just as unhelpful. Apparently being useless is company policy. What is the point of having a store with paid employees if they do nothing? read more

Unfortunately, very disappointed that I have gone there on several occasions at their 8am weekday opening time to find they were not open. On each occasion, after waiting 10 minutes, I left and drove across town to another location. Maybe they are good later in the day? I would think that a UPS store would need to uphold certain standards in order to be a UPS franchise, but I am not well informed of those particular policies. Horrible, horrible experience. Paid a huge premium, more than the value of the contents, to get second-day delivery to LA on Dec 24 (my daughter's christmas was more important to me than the extra money). The store even checked with headquarters, and assured me it would be delivered on time. Actual delivery took 7 days. The package didn't even leave Colorado for 5. While we were trying to locate the package, I asked if I would be given a refund. I was told "yes, but not until after the package has been delivered." Three weeks later, I went in to process my refund. "Oh, that has to be filed within 15 days." No mention of that at the time of their screw-up, and no refund coming my way. Basically, they are liars and thieves. Beware. read more

If you are going to make a show of taking someone's email address to send them a tracking number, and even writing it down in your own handwriting, it would be a good idea not to screw up and never deliver the promised email. It would be even better if you apologized for the error when the customer is forced to follow up, rather than try to ignore it. read more

This is the worst UPS Store that I have been to. The guys obviously do not know what they are doing. They are nice enough but have no idea how to run this business, or about shipping in general. After telling me to ship via UPS, they ended up shipping my items via USPS. While this might have been a communication problem of some sort, my package was then left at their facility for several days before being picked up. It has been two weeks and my package has still not delivered. When I called for help they told me they could do nothing for me and gave me no alternative path for resolution. I went down to the store to get further asisstance but I waited patiently for ten minutes and no one even acknowledged my presence. There was only one other customer in the store. Horrible service. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! AVOID THESE GUYS!! I dropped off a package and forgot to include an item in the box. I went back 10 minutes after they closed to simply ask them to HOLD the package and I would be back tomorrow when they were open to add the item to the box. All staff members, even Nate the guy who rung me up no less than 15 minutes earlier "pretended" not to see me while he vacuumed. Then, refused to even make eye contact as he pointed to the sign stating their hours. Despite my desperate pleas to just listen through the glass, he treated me like I was non-existant. The apparent "owner" kept making an "X" with his arms to signal for me to leave even though I had just spent over $100 on shipping fees!! Their clear disdain for having to lift a finger and show some backbone and compassion for a CUSTOMER was utterly baffling. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone I had just given money to. And they never answer the phone. read more
