The 20-something asked me for the electronic file. I explained these were done some time ago and there is no electronic file. None provided to me. Would he please make two sets of copies? Thirty minutes later - nothing. He asks his supervisor who says that they can't do it because the pages are wrinkled and their auto feeder will rip the pages. I completely understand. I ask if they can't do it one at a time. They told me I can do it in the self section. I said I just had surgery and as you can see I can't stand or walk. I'm unable to use self serve. Is there anything you can do to help me? The answer was an indifferent "not my problem" shrug.

For many years, they were a very reasonable price for Ground Shipping services. They are still my first choice for reliability for super fast deliveries. Unfortunately, their Ground Service for residences, renamed "Home Delivery" is a bit more expensive than its main competitor, though even theirs has gone up too, though not quite as much. Where this shop really shines and always has, is its Passport Photo service. This time, not only was the staff member very accurate in getting the shot, he was really friendly and helpful on the constraints of the newest regulations. Also the price was very fair and the finished product better than any in the past, but for the limited smile allowed now, which is never my style. The counter staff was also incredibly friendly and everyone there was multi tasking the whole time. I hate to dock them a star for company pricing policy, but it is their reality too when they have to tell the customers. There are always staff members around to help. Their rewards program can reduce the cost of an item, today by half for a specialized cable. The points I have earned made it a very good deal. I also love that they are the most efficient and welcoming to recycling items. From old printers to batteries, I have removed outdated and non working equipment without resorting to either landfill or paying to recycle at our county facility of last resort. The staff is always gracious and well informed. Parking is simple in an ample free lot. In Boulder, this is a real bonus. And my newest printer last spring has turned out to be the best amount of features for the price of any of those in the past. Not only does the technology itself improve, the convenience of buying from Staples does too.

No courtesy returns now either. There are 2 actual UPS stores on the CU campus so we went to the one with the most access to local residents not affiliated with CU. This one is in the building of the new dining facility for the Williams Village dorms on 30th St. it's a little hard to find and park and their printed hours are not always correct. Call first and verify. When you pull into the dining facility drive, look for the public parking on your right. There are only 5 spaces. Other parking is permit only and it is enforced. It was full today but my husband stayed with the car and I took our package in. The workers was quick and though a free return from a. Implant gave me a receipt. Many students walked to use it as I was leaving so I got lucky on timing. Since UPS reduced its presence in Boulder we do our regular shipping with another similarly priced company and very convenient to our home. Since this product required UPS for free shipping I had no choice. Given that, it is a good though not convenient option for local non-student citizens

These guys saved me when I was on crunch time to acquire some business cards for my first event in…read moretown. I stopped in on a Tuesday to see what my options were for card stock, they had three proofs printed by Wednesday, and the cards were finished by Friday. My event was on Sunday. That Friday, I was running a ton of errands preparing for the Sunday event, that it had totally slipped my mind to stop by and pick up the cards. I didn't realize my error until Saturday, and knowing that Print Experts were closed on weekends, I went into complete panic mode because I had literally zero means of promoting myself at the event, aside from these cards. I immediately called the shop, emailed the manager, and sent a message on Yelp, out of desperation to reach anyone who would respond, and within minutes, someone responded on Yelp and got a hold of somebody who was willing to meet me on their day off to deliver the cards. Now that's service! Hallelujah! Since they were obviously closed, they arranged to have someone place the box of cards in their delivery vehicle parked outside of the shop and left the door unlocked so I could get them out of the car. I thought this was very trusting of them, and I appreciated how quickly they resolved my issue. I honestly don't know any other company who would go that far and that quickly to provide such great service, especially when the error was completely my fault. As far as the card quality goes, they are durable, and the print looks nice and clean, but there were some slightly rough edges on the rounded corners of the cards that I would have liked to see cleaned up. But for the price, especially when you're on time constraints and need prints quickly, these are your guys.

That epic fail occurred on Wednesday 9/20; our event was Saturday 9/22 and we needed those cards! On a Thursday 9/21/17, I called every printer in Winter Park and the surrounding area; without exception, every one of them told me that they couldn't get cards done in 24hrs; "couldn't be done; maybe in Denver". My last call was answered, as were our prayers, by Steffan; at McConnel Printing. I had my cards in my hand that VERY SAME DAY! They saved our bacon by doing in less then 8hrs what their "competition" couldn't do in 4 days. Oh and did I mention at half the price? The rest of the "printers" in Winter Park should either A) take a lesson or B) find a new line of work; maybe Steffan's hiring.....
