Store was run by a couple of teenagers who clearly did not want to be there. They were fairly rude and unhelpful. They were throwing people's packages around in an annoyed way and talking poorly about customers who had just walked out of the store. Furthermore UPS charges ridiculous fees to ship... about $60 for a pair of shoes to pack and ship. Will not be shipping here again. read more

After 3 other notaries quibbled about my ID or how filled out my form was, and sent me away, I was getting really frustrated. It was almost closing time, and I was afraid I was out of luck. Fortunately, I tried this UPS store next, because I also had a return to drop off. Steve Kim got the notary job done immediately, and charged only $5 for the service. What a relief! It was a little off-putting that they charge $1 to tape your box when you come in with a return, but I get it that Amazon only paid for the shipping and they're not being paid anything for the tape and the time. They just informed me of the policy, but made a point of not charging me the first time. Next time I'll tape it myself beforehand to save the trouble of the transaction. I REALLY appreciated that the return was logged IMMEDIATELY and I received the refund right away! I had already received the email from Amazon before I arrived home. The location is convenient and I found their service prompt and efficient. I got two jobs done in 5 minutes, right before closing, with no wait at all. I'll be back! read more

I'll absolutely echo what many, many other reviewers have said about the customer service: it is not only bad it is abusive. Seriously. If you go in here, expect to be belittled and verbally abused as I have been and I've seen other customers be as well. Stay far away from this place. read more

The "owner" (Priscilla) is possibly the least accommodating, most worthless customer service person of all time in a retail store. My wife returned an item for me. Simple, right? Well, it turned out to be anything but. It was a return through Amazon and there was nobody in her store when my wife went to return the item. While in the store, my wife was trying to hear me (husband) on her phone as I was giving her return instructions that were given to me by Amazon; i.e. QR code, etc. No shipping label was required! Priscilla came out of her office to tell my wife rudely to turn off her phone speaker as it was "disturbing" her. Additionally, Priscilla would not initially accept that this return method was standard operating procedure. She insisted my wife needed to have a label. NOT TRUE! In other words, she couldn't care less, wanted to get rid of my wife, and obviously did not want to be bothered with a no charge return because it was zero$'s in her pocket. To top it off she accused my wife of being racist because my wife had had it with her demeanor and gave her a rightfully deserved piece of her mind. Stay away from this store (1905) and this crazy lady. read more

Never answer phones. When I went in to ship a return package they made me unpack it so they can see what I'm shipping. I found it to be rude and embarrassing to be called out and basically being called a criminal. I'm not some teenager, I'm in my 50's and don't need to be treated this way. RUDE and INCOMPETENT! read more

HORRIBLE PEOPLE, they sold my employee a USED, BEAT UP, TAPED BOX for FIFTEEN DOLLARS and claimed it was brand new and that when we attempted to return it an hour later, they denied it was their box. I would stay far away from these people, I had to go back to the bank to get my money back. (Skull and crossbones inserted here). read more

Very poor service from UPS. Used The UPS STORE in Boulder, CO to ship medication, using 2nd day air. The person that assisted me was very helpful. However, the package was delivered four days later. Used the ask UPS feature and was told to request a refund. Was then told that I needed to contact the UPS store that I used to get a refund. They never answered the phone, so I submitted my refund request online. Next day received an email from The UPS Store saying due to Covid they were not giving refunds except for next day air. I paid $50.00 for 2nd day air and received ground service. I do think that I should have been told delays may occur due to Covid. While I was pleased with the service of the person who assisted me at the UPS Store, I did not receive the service that I paid for from UPS. read more

Very unfriendly people working here. Acted like I was inconveniencing him. Never smiled and never said thank you.

The young man in the green shirt on there website is always very rude, also did not have on a mask) I had a Amazon return this morning, walked in with package set it down where he indicated, started to look up return code, he very rudely said I must stand behind blue line until I bring up return code.I told him that he was rude, he refused to accept my return and placed my package on the floor.I of course will never return to this UPS store and will encourage everyone else to avoid having anything to do with these very rude people. I wish I could give them a 10 star negative. read more

I normally would not call out a particular employee by name, but Paras made my experience at this UPS Store particularly "memorable". I was looking to ship four nearly identical packages (difference was less than 1 inch and less than 1 lb) to the same location. I got a quote online from upsstore.com that said each package should be $23. I brought the packages in and Paras weighed and measured each and told me the four packages would cost $354, or $89 per package. These were roughly 12"x10"x9", weighing 6 lbs. I asked him if we was quoting something other than Ground, or if there might have been a typo, because upsstore.com had quoted me $23 per package, which is quite different from $89 per package. He was quite certain that he hadn't made a mistake and said he couldn't do anything if I couldn't show him the quote from the website. He clearly implied that if I just had the quote from upsstore.com, this could be resolved. So...I went home, and printed out the quote for the four packages with accurate weights and measurements, which showed $107, or $23 per package. I return with the printed quote, and share it with Paras. His response is, "We're closing, I don't have time to deal with this." It was 50 minutes before closing...so I ask him if he can re-weigh / re-measure one package, or explain the difference between the online quote and his quote. He becomes belligerent, and says that he can't do anything about the prices in the computer. I ask him if he can re-enter a single package, as perhaps there was a typo in the morning. He does so, and now has a quote of $54 per package. So somehow upsstore.com quotes $23, Paras quotes $89 in the morning, and $54 in the afternoon. I ask Paras to explain why the store and the website have different pricing. Paras elevates his belligerence. When I visited in the morning, he clearly implied that they would honor the same pricing as upsstore.com, and I must have made a mistake in generating the quote. But when I produced the website quote with accurate measurements, he couldn't explain the difference. He also couldn't clarify why it was $89 in the morning and $54 in the afternoon. The huge difference in quotes between the website and the actual store were frustrating. I imagine that the holidays are stressful at the UPS Store, but Paras's belligerence was off the charts, and completely unacceptable. I went to the FedEx store; they were quick, polite and cheaper than the upsstore.com quote (and ~ $250 cheaper than the in-store quote). read more

this place needs to be investigated. my son goes there to ship my wallet, which I left in boulder, and he told the person at the desk , that he wanted overnight shipping thru UPS to Hawaii. I wanted to go thru UPS cause I don't trust the post office, especially with my wallet This UPS store charged him $175 for overnight and end up putting it in a two day priority USPS(post office) envelope.......seems like something is wrong about this read more

I have been to this location 2 times and every time i have had terrible experience. The young Asian man working there is always irritated and not pleasant. His tone of voice is always angry, he is not willing to help at all and is very rude. First time i came in there was a women in front of me, asking for help with her thumb drive and the guy was extremely irritated and talked to her like she is not worth anything. I dropped off a return package and said if they give receipt for the return packages, and he said its up to you, if you want one, but his tone of voice was very irritated. Its not what he says, its how he says it. Anyways both times my experience was pretty awful, there is no please or thank you. Covid is not an excuse to treat people like garbage! read more

I wanted to sign up for a mailbox since I'm moving and traveling over the next couple of month so I wrote to this UPS Store. I heard nothing back so a couple of days later I called and talked to someone who promised to send me the sign up information, a few days later, I still hadn't received the email so I wrote again asking for the forms so I could rent a mailbox. Here it is a couple of days after the call and still NOTHING! I'll be going elsewhere since these guys just don't want business despite having empty boxes to rent! read more

Pretty abysmal experience, compared to other similar stores. Today, I walked in to ship a small package and there's a line accumulating. The dude is typing away at his keyboard, and looks up to tell us... "Sorry. Corporate email." and continues typing for several minutes as folks pile up. I watched him get in to a tiff with the lady in front of me (both parties being a bit rude, but not my battle). Finally I get to ship my package, and my 5 pound, 12x12x8 package with "should get there in about a week" freight cost me $27. I was in a rush so I paid and left. I go online to Fedex to compare when I get home, and they quote me the same dimensions/weight with 3-day service for $14. Remember folks, this UPS Store is a franchise, they aren't giving you pure UPS rates, and this is evidence of their extreme markup. I call back 20 minutes later (and wait on hold for another 5 infuriating minutes) to see if I can cancel the shipment, they said they can't find the box. "It may have gone out already." I asked if I could give them a tracking number and they could check. They respond "I'm not sure how that would help, you'd have to call corporate customer service." There's no reason to ever use the services of this store. The Fedex storefront on Baseline is better in all ways, and you're always better going online anyways. read more

Unbelievably rude and arrogant staff. The Amazon business that comes through their store but that they don't get paid for drives traffic and causes people to spend money on other services they provide, but they don't get that and don't care. Wouldn't recommend for the mailbox rental, not reliable, told upon opening that "physical address" they sort the mail to the boxes, so it was unclear that box # was required. Gave address to someone, never did get the piece of mail even though it definitely had the right physical address. The staff said it would just be delayed a few days without box# on it, however it never did arrive even a month later. Decided to just go with a more reliable PO Box. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Steve was extremely rude and condescending. So damn appalled at how i was treated when calling this store. I had called another store earlier and was told to call the 1-800 number. Okay. I did, but the phone number was going in circles. When i get to the final part to add my tracking number it takes me back the privacy speech at the very beginning. So i called to explain that the 1800 menu was broken and that i needed help. A younger man answered and was short, telling me they couldn't help. Okay. Thats understandable. But I wanted to tell the manager about the 1-800 number. He REFUSED to let me talk to a manager. And given i was yelling at this point he hung up on me. To much avail i called back to explain that i felt belittled and i would like to speak to his manager. He said they couldn't do anything anyways and that my yelling at him made him "uncomfortable" and that why he hung up. I repeated to him that i would like to speak to a manager to which he hung up on me again. Seriously. Wtf. If i made you uncomfortable isn't it kinda YOUR JOB to connect me to your manager. I generally like UPS because I can easily send packages and a reasonable rate. This location is right next to king soopers so there is lots of parking. Relatively the location is large with private PO Boxes with a large assortment of boxes and packing supplies. However, they are pretty annoying about NOT being able to pack your packages in their store. For those of us who are actually buying a box from them, this seems a tad ridiculous. read more

Not sure why the low score for this store--it's a UPS store, so about what you would expect. When I was there, the service was excellent. Hayden was prompt and courteous in helping me with a notary service. No complaints--great folks in a small, clear store. read more

This place is terrible. The manager (who I think might be the owner or the son of the owner) is very rude and treats customers with disdain. He also always tries to force you to buy supplies from them. For example, he will not give you a piece of tape, but forces you to purchase a roll. Today, he even lied about the UPS policy to force me to purchase packaging. I visited the store today to ship a clothing return. It was in the original packaging, which was plastic bag type material. The manager told me that I would have to purchase a bubble envelope or the package would not be insured and I would be charged a $15 additional handling fee. I then took the package to the actual UPS facility at 3795 Frontier Ave where I was charged the regular rate and provided with insurance. They even added some tape to the package without charge! The facility on Frontier is open M-F from noon until 5. It's worth going there to avoid the UPS store on 30th. read more

Consistently the rudest and least helpful mail center I've ever seen. It's as if the management is deliberately training the staff to be jerks. Had a box here for a while and they constantly put the wrong mail from other boxes in mine. Every time I drop a package off, they complain in some way. They refuse to give you even one piece of tape in a jam. Just always a negative experience. Hope they read this and rethink their customer service. Try friendly, helpful, exceed customer expectations. read more

I had a very important package to pick up from this UPS store today. I mistakenly thought the store closed later than it did. In a panic, I called about five minutes before closing, ready to beg and plead with whomever answered to help me out in some way. Before I could even ask, Steve offered to stick around long enough for me to come by (on a Saturday!) and pick up my parcel. He even asked how far away I was and offered a generous window of time, so I wasn't tempted to resort to unsafe driving to get there. I expected at least a trace of annoyance when I arrived, but he was nothing but polite, professional, and friendly. Kudos to you, Steve - this level of customer service is completely unexpected these days. read more

The person I encountered on 5/15/20 at 9am in the morning was EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE. I can see that this young Asian man is probably the same person that has been mentioned in reviews previous to mine. When I occasionally have Amazon returns, I've always been surprised that the UPS Store charges 49 cents to use their printer for the Amazon prepaid shipping label. Or, they'll charge three dollars to print it themselves. As an example of the company's policy on customer service, this is a good example of missing the considerate services that would really make me a regular customer. That shipping label is already paid for by Amazon! It would be a nice touch if the store didn't want to nickel and dime me for a super cheap printout!!! read more

New management, new franchisee, new experience at this UPS store. Very friendly service.

These poor guys probably think I want to move in I've had to come here so many times recently. I've had to notarize about a dozen documents over the last month and they are super courteous, quick and helpful that it makes it very convenient for me to just head over during my work break and not be late heading back. Considering how pricey notaries can be, to have one always on staff and for five bucks, wasn't too bad. Their downfall, and I think this is an overall UPS thing, charging $5 per day to have something shipped there. This seems a bit odd to me since I'm actually saving the UPS truck guy time to go to my house, possibly return when I'm not there, and it isn't being deviated from another location. I could see the charge if it isn't picked up, but to charge that for the first day seems a bit like nickel and diming the customer. read more

Avoid this store like the plague! Steve Kim is the worst customer service rep I've ever met. He is like the soup nazi on Seinfeld. Horrible. I've seen customers run out of the store screaming at him. I ask him if he recycles paper and he tells me to throw it in the trash and he will sort it out later. I ask for UPS envelopes (he doesn't keep them out and available) and he looks at me like I am an alien. I ask for two envelopes so that next time I don't have to deal with him and he hands me another like he is doing me a favor. Do yourself a favor drop your shipments across the street at Staples, or the main UPS terminal on Pearl from noon until 5pm. I want to see this store boycotted so that UPS corporate will drop this store's franchise. I'll print these reviews and send them to the proper authorities at UPS corporate. read more

Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. I came in to make a return but forgot a box. The employee kept repeating the question "Did you not read the instructions?
