I came into this shop today hot, fatigued and short on time. I needed a legal documents copied from my email. Simple enough, yet I kept messing up. The young man with the cool, colored hair and groovy sneakers could not possibly have been more helpful, patient, caring and competent. I thank him very much. This shop used to be a Kinko's and Kinko's was very cool. So I'm a bit resentful that Fed Ex bought the place out. And when you go on it does look a bit confusing and corporate. FexEx has delivered two if the last three packages I had shipped to me to two different neighbors, the third package was never located. I called multiple times over a couple of weeks trying to track down my package, i was told they were "investigating" but the investigation was just someone looking to see where the GPS said the driver went. While it's possible that the delivery driver pulled into our neighborhood, I am 100% certain the driver never came to my place. I checked with my neighbors and no one else saw a FedEx employee that day, nor did they have my package. FedEx, you fail miserably and your complete lack of caring about how badly you do your job should be embarrassing, I don't appreciate being lied to, I would not spend hours of my time trying to track down my package if you employed drivers who actually delivered the packages to where they were sent. Another complaint against the drivers you hire are they don't stop and look to make sure no one is coming before pulling out into the street. My neighbors and I have had multiple near misses narrowly escaping from being hit. You deserve less than no stars, I can't wait until your company goes out of business. read more

Stopped in on my way to class to print something for a friend as she was having computer problems. After figuring out that the computer I was on was for creating/printing cards and things I found my way to a printer. The little screen prompted me to slide my credit card which I did with hesitation. From there I had several options for proceeding however I was prompted to enter a username/password which I found confusing. As I was in somewhat of a rush i turned around to ask help of the person behind me who turned out not to be an employee. In that short time I had my back turned an employee jumped on my machine with someone who had been waiting for me to finish up. I noted to them that I'd entered my credit card, was stuck, and would please like help. The staffer told me they were busy helping the person in line behind me and recommended to them that they go up to the counter so as not to wait. I requested information as to whom might be able to help me and they made one recommendation and then told me again they were going to help the other person. I gave the system another go on my own but ended up leaving as my time for which to complete my task had run out and I was extremely discouraged about the assistance I had received. I highly recommend going to the Boulder public library for your basic printer needs. The staff is both friendly and helpful if you have questions. read more

I'm giving this location one star simply because my shipping job was handled well. I dropped off a hard copy to be copied and bound yesterday, 5/18. I was very specific on the type of paper and binding. was told it would be 24 hours. I returned today to ship a package. After completing my shipping order I went to pick up my printing. There was no record of my order in their database. No one knew where it was. The document I dropped off is the only one so being lost would cost me dearly. A good ten minutes was spent looking for everything. The manager even called the guy who they thought might have taken the order. It was eventually found and bound incorrectly. Simple job. I went into this FedEx to print out and copy some documents. The computer took forever to do anything and both browsers were out of date, so much so that the computer had warnings that said "Update Now". I'm assuming this contributed to the slow performance and the inability to print anything including a receipt. When I went to the front desk ti complain about the computers the guy behind the counter said "You mean the old computers I brought from my garage?" I told them they needed to at least update the browsers to which he replied "Those are the computers we are given, there's nothing we can do". So much for customer service! I have to say, I am quite overwhelmed by the lack of technology present in this FEDEX Kinkos location. WiFi: It took me 26 minutes to download a 12 page word document that had only text on it (no photos or color). I asked for support from the staff and I was told that since the flood (nearly 3 years ago) the "T1" lines have been acting up. Not only did the employee believe the BS that he was trained to push down my throat, but he actually found himself confused as to why I was frustrated and why I didnt just want to pay to utilize their work stations and be refunded 2-3 business days later on my CC. Every coffee shop and small business in that area (28th street shopping area) have some form of WiFi, yet FEDEX KINKOS (A Global Giant) can't seem to get the right technicians in to solve their three year dilemma?!?! Seems to me that the management is either too CHEAP or lacks the Empathy towards their customers needs. The Dropbox and Google Drive Centers never seem to actually show what is in my Dropbox or Google Drive Folders - this probably isn't on FEDEX Kinkos but its still aggravating to have your laptop/ipad out showing that the items are in the correct location, yet, for some reason, the machines cannot seem to locate them. Water Fountain and Bathrooms are disgusting!!! And that is all that I am going to say about that. Manager was reluctant to give an email address that I could simply send the above mentioned word document to, he had 4 excuses why it wouldn't be the best Idea to send to the fedex email address and 10 reasons why i should just pay to utilize the fedex work stations (cost per minute of use) - finally he handed me a piece of paper with the address and I sent the document and my 1 hour and 17 minute ordeal was over (I had finally printed my 12 page word document). read more

Terrible customer service. Every time I come here for the package delivery or pick up service there's always a line with extra employees just standing around. No urgency whatsoever to tend to a growing line. Even just picking up for a package, you have to wait in the same single line as people shipping packages. In the most recent visit, I've seen 2 people get frustrated just to leave the line. If you can avoid it - don't come here. Your precious time will be wasted. read more

I don't know who hires the aliens that work here but they may be the least congenial and knowledgeable staff that I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I have taken simple binding jobs to fedex for about 15 years and this is the first time it's been this long; usually the turnover is 10 minutes to 8 hours. There was only one employee in the store and a line on a Saturday. No manager or anyone else to take responsibility. Took my job to Office Depot and they did it in 15 minutes. Terrible service. I went to fax a simple document, one page, nothing special, and it ended up taking over half an hour. I was ignored and three people were helped ahead of me while he waited for the fax to go through. As it turns out, he had entered my phone number instead of the recipient party's fax number. What an idiot. It wasn't this guys first day either - apparently, he was a manager! He didn't even know how to work the copy machine. In the end, I was way over charged, and by that point I was too pissed off to even argue as I was late for my next appointment. Came in today to ship a package. I had a bunch of shipping materials out in my car, but I needed a box. I was looking at boxes when Don said he could help me find what I needed. Great, I thought. But instead, he took my items in the back and went ahead and packed them and sealed the box. Out of my sight. I didn't get to see how they were packed. I didn't get to add the letter I had with me. I got charged for all of the packaging that I never requested and quite frankly, couldn't afford. Did I mention that I NEVER ASKED HIM TO DO THAT? And that he just took it upon himself to do it? I should have had him unpack it and took my business elsewhere. "I can help you find what you need" is not the same as "let me take your items out of your view and pack them without your consent or input at a very inflated cost." I didn't want to have to humiliate myself in the middle of fedex by admitting I can't afford dinner tonight because he decided to make decisions for me without asking. The employees here are 100% useless. I tried to scan documents and then email them, which should not be a hard thing to do but the instructions on their scanner make no sense. Add to that the fact that you are paying every second that ticks by so you are reading this backwards instructions, trying to learn as you go and then doing it wrong.... I had to go get someone to help but there was no one to help. I could actually see employees talking to each other like they were on a smoke break in plain sight of customers. Like I said I was still being charged as the time went by on the computer/scanner rental. I finally figured it out. -The employees are just completely checked out. They are constantly scowling. They just look right past customers that need help. Then I needed to fax something, long story short, their fax machine was busted so they had to it themselves, which they did. I was later called and told "I never got the fax." That was money well spent! - A much better place was on Broadway in North Boulder next to Luckys and Logans coffee.
