The people working here are efficient and friendly enough, and they are always able to quickly get through my returns and have me out the door in minutes. Great service isn't something associate with shipping companies but I've had nothing but the best experience with this UPS store! I've been in tons of times to drop off packages or Amazon returns and every employee I've run into knows their stuff and is super friendly and efficient. Recently I also had an issue with a lost package and Debra, the owner of the store(?) went above and beyond in helping me try to locate it, even calling up UPS for me to try and obtain more details about the delivery. The owner of this UPS store is SO nice & helpful! One of the few businesses throughout the pandemic which accommodated me for my disability, which made wearing a face mask inadvisable, & detrimental to my health. But she was always ready & willing to provide me with the same level of service while i waited outside, providing me notary services, even though she had to walk in & out several times. Both times I've been here I felt like I was in Soviet Russia and they were closed for a tea break. The first visit was to drop off an Amazon return.the woman asked me if I had the box the item it came in. When I said no, she told me she needed to charge me $1.50. The Amazon return web page clearly states you do not need to package the return. I showed her the page. She said she needed it to process the return, and that I could pay $1.50 extra if I didn't have the box. Today I went in with my Amazon return, box in tow. The employee who has lighter hair, a pale green or blue was busy assisting a customer with the photocopier. The matronly employee I met before was behind the counter did not call me over, she kept busy at her computer terminal. The as she was processing a large batch of items headed out the door into a delivery truck. They knew each other and didn't hesitate to chit chat for door minutes while customers were in line, after their business transaction was complete. EDIT: Please note, The label clearly stated "No box needed." The reply from the management below contradicts what the Amazon label said. I have downgraded my review to one star. read more

Occasionally I have a package to ship via UPS and I go to this UPS Store location. It is located at Crossroads Mall in the building fronting NE 8th Street. I had just received a package from Amazon for a pair of shorts that I needed to return. So I submitted a return request online, printed the mailing label and packed it up to be shipped back. With UPS, you can either drop off the package at a drop box or take it to an authorized shipping location. I prefer dropping packages off at the UPS Store instead of at a drop box because I prefer the peace of mind of it being received by UPS rather than sitting in a drop box to be picked up. Plus the UPS Store gives you a drop-off receipt to confirm that you have delivered the package to the store. I have done the drop off process here a couple times here and have found it to be generally a quick in and out visit of the store. Less than 5 minutes. You are not waiting a long time here you like do across the street at the US Post Office. I will continue to visit this location when I need to ship via UPS for any online returns. read more

We arrived a little late (3:10) , thought it was closed at 4 (but actually 3:00 on sat.) while googling to other ups at the front door, a staff came out and asked us if we have label on the package (which we did ! ) and took them out of their business hour. i LOVED the owners Debra (and can't think of his name). She was always so very friendly and took a personal interest in me when I visited to get my mail and packages. The great advantages of a mailbox at an UPS store is that you have a real street address and they will take your packages. The US Post Office does not offer either of services The issue I had with the UPS store (and I think it's specific to ALL UPS stores and other private mailboxes (PMBs) is that when you close your box there they WILL NOT FORWARD your mail. You cannot do a change of address (COA) with the USPS because they don't recognize UPS or other PMBs. I tried to get this UPS store to forward my mail to me for which I would gladly pay, but they did not. So beware when opening a mailbox at a UPS store because when you close it, your mail will NOT be forwarded and you cannot make a COA at the USPS. read more

This UPS store is the absolute best place to go for postal services. Their customer service is phenomenal. I adore walking in and seeing the beautiful golden retriever chillin and greeting all the customers. There are other postal businesses much closer to my house but I like the service here better. read more

"Passport Photo Service" here is a one of a kind experience. I was lined up against a wall/pillar two feet wide in something which looks like a kitchen alley. I faced another pillar two feet in front and the photographer couldn't stand in front so stood at an angle.There is no white screen and background wall is stained. There is even a long shadow due to an overhead light and I don't recollect the cam using flash. We used a small pocket camera like those from 2000s. When I am showed the sample image on the laptop, it was dark & shadowy. Using software we tweak it. I ask for a sample printed image which is offered for free which is good. The printer did not seem a quality device. There were color streaks across the center (the ones that show up when printer is out of juice) of the image. The image was grainy and not great quality. But I ask to proceed . My shoulders were imbalanced in the image (longer on one side) so I ask to recenter and reprint. It was rebalanced and reprinted. I say it's exactly the same. We continue anyway. I say 'ok let's print X images'. There was some scene about 'X pairs' which I found odd. I wait 10 min as we print/cut the 2 image chunks into individual pieces using a cutting board. The place is small / crowded and feels claustrophobic. I get the cut up images. To my horror thr images had white borders arbitrarily on some of sides. Were the cuts not even centered? I don't believe the cuts could be that bad. When I ask about the borders, I don't recollect what the response I got, but I felt the borders posed a problem for my passport application - I was visualizing how the photo on my passport could end up with arbitrary white lines. I tell them I cannot use the final cuts. They don't charge me which is good. read more

Whenever I went here I consistently had great experience. I got all the info on delivery/price options available and got all my questions clearly answered and given ample time to make right decision. Although I was the only customer, and there were at least three employees working there at the time, I had to wait roughly 10 minutes while one of them finished what definitely sounded like a personal phone call before they would help me. I went to the store to overnight some documents, and here I am two days later and the documents haven't arrived. Looking at the tracking information I was given the package was not picked up until one full day later than my visit to the store, and it still has not arrived (2 days have passed). Also, there were two misbehaving dogs at the location and all three of the employees were unhelpful and rude. read more

Me: Do you sell Forever stamps? They are going up in a few weeks. UPS Store Clerk: Of course! My friend calls them "Whatever Stamps". I don't know why they only raise the price a cent or two. They could raise it, like, 9 or 10 cents and nobody would notice... Later, back at the ranch, I look at the receipt and realize they mark up the stamps 9 cents each. The people at this store are very nice and friendly. I had bought shoes online but needed to return them -- twice. One box, I dropped off here. They made sure that I had a printed receipt for me to acknowledge they've received it before I turned back to my car. Nice. While in line, I also observed how, the gentlemen (with a touch of grey :p) patiently helped a lady out with her chewed up UPS bag she was preparing to send. The other box, I dropped off at the 20th St/140 Ave store and the doof saw me leave the box on counter and couldn't care less that it was there and he walked away. I asked "That's it?"... "That's it.". Harumph. Yes. This is the store to go to. They're often busy with a line, but only because they actually have customers. read more

This UPS location (#4156) has an outstanding customer service. I'm usually too lazy to write any comments online but since they have been the most prompt, fast, and kindest shipping company I've ever been helped, I decided to leave 5 stars with my experiences. During April and May of 2021, I ran to this location for about 4 times to ship my boxes to New York. And I also requested for a pick up at my apartment to ship 8 boxes. So far, nothing got lost and safely arrived at the location I shipped to, and I am expecting my last 8 boxes to deliver sometimes in June. Debra, Mike, and another younger guy helped me during the last two months and all of them were prompt and fast at the register. I also appreciate Mike and Debra for continuously reaching out to me during making an appointment for the pick up service. Some companies take forever to reply to customers. Went there today to price a print job for invitations. The two clerks were nice enough (hence the 2 stars), but on the whole, clueless. I had the design on a jump drive and the younger clerk recoiled from it. Perhaps that was the first time he had seen one? The older clerk said we needed to talk to some woman who also worked there, but it wasn't clear if she was there that day. Nothing was clear, to me or the staff. They said they didn't have the paper to do a 5x7 invitation or a 4x6 RSVP card, and could only offer regular weighted office paper to print on. We then asked if they had any colored envelopes, and the younger clerk said "yes, we have white ones." I would NOT recommend this place for anything other than dropping off a UPS package, preferably one with a label already pre-printed. Wouldn't want to have to ask them how to get a label. Go across the street to FedEx Kinkos if you need anything printed. read more

Avoid this store!!!!!!!! I paid 110 $ for priority mail to send it in Europe! After 10 day I find out that the package is still in US ( New York) . I called US postal service to check what is going on, they said that for that package UPS actually paid only 60$ ! 60$ really???? read more

The folks here are amazing !! You get the type of service you would never get at the post office . It true community business at its best. I went in today and I was greeted by lovely child entrepreneurs/philanthropists selling lemonade and muffins .i arrived just about minutes After the UPS truck left-- which meant my package would not arrive by the next day. The service here is a mixed bag. Often you have someone have nice and patient helping you. I've gone here to drop off packages, get cards laminated, buy stamps. Sometimes the wait is long as they can get quite busy. Today I stopped in to drop off two packages and the lady at the counter was very rude to me and told me to follow the arrows. I told her I couldn't see the arrows and she tried to make me look like an idiot because I didn't see the arrows on the floors as I was holding two packages. I thanked her for her patience and told her to have a nice day. Not sure if I'll go back to that location as there are plenty of friendlier UPS stores around. It's hard to work in customer service (been there done that) but courtesy instead of thinly veiled contempt is a job requirement. read more

A typical UPS store (shipping supplies, shipping assistance, etc.), but with the added bonus of a notary on site basically ALL THE TIME! I still call in advance, but it seems that at least 2 of the employees are notaries, and it's just $10 for each verification without the hassle of making an appointment or arriving within a magic window of 15 minutes and hoping the notary is around. read more

This is the worst UPS store I have ever been. They have lost my moms green card, I want to warn everyone never to go to this store with your important documents special in the mornings. The lady with the grey and short hairs is the one who did it, she usually works in the mornings and I am confident about it because she was the only one who knows what's inside my package. I have used the priority mail services from their store,my package should be delivered in 3 days but it never left their store. The USPS store are saying they never received the package. They knew it from the beginning that it's lost but they never told me just fooling me around to wait 2 more day or one more day it will get there eventually, and in the end they simply said we can't do anything now it's out of our hands once hand it to USPs then we are not responsible,we did whatever we could. I would have accept it , if it really make it up to the USPS but it never did. The status of Awaiting item the package is on its way to the USPs store never changed from my tracking number. It was so easy for them to blame USPs for this whole event, I am really pissed off. There were few people who helped me during this whole episode but still it didn't help me enough cause my important document is gone now. SO PlEASE be very careful with your documents I don't know if she was a racist or what why she did this to me what ever was in her mind It was wrong. Now my mom has to wait another 1 1/2 years to get her green card back, she has to fly back on Friday the 12 October but she couldn't had to miss her flight, and don't know how long she has to wait for another date for fingerprints and stamping. This place is great. Nice to go in there and see the owner, his wife, and their dog! Go there all the time to pay my power bill. Went in there a couple weeks before Christmas least year and they were so busy, but the line moved rather quickly, especially considering the number of packages some people were mailing. The manager lets her dogs roam the floors. When it's crowded and people are carrying in large bulky packages trying to maneuver around them, it's just not the place for dogs. I sent a simple Holiday gift to Alberta, Canada. UPS staff here did not explain to me the hidden cost of brokerage fee. Now my dad needs to pay ransom if he wants to get the package today. UPS provides option to return the package to me and want to charge me returning shipping plus another brokerage fee at US custom. Or UPS can return the package to the Canadian boarder to ask my dad to go to Richmond BC to do clearance himself. What kind of service is this? The cost of the gift is about $69.99 and a few other stuffs round $30 bucks when I brought the gift brand new but it has been used for two weeks. The shipping cost is about $28. The brokerage fee is $43 Canadian. The total shipping cost is over 50% of the actual value of the gift. 1) Don't use UPS to ship international. 2) the staff here is nice but they won't warn you if there is hidden cost on the receiving end. read more
